Hi I really love ur reviews. It’s as if u read my mind and answer all my questions. That not just the great thing about ur reviews. Watching ur videos make questions pop up in my mind that I wouldn’t think of asking. Then as soon as the question pops up in my mind, I answer them!
I really like that the Vantage has got a personality of its own now, whereas the previous one was a bit like Aston's 'Cayman( Cayman being a 911 for those who don't have the budget for a 911). This one is a completely different beast from the DB11.
Just to clarify, the bonnet (hood) release is in the passenger footwell on UK cars too, it swaps sides and is always on the opposite side to the steering wheel 👍
Great review Brian, I've just had a test run in the new Vantage and agree with your thoughts - especially as a 911 owner! That's the biggest challenge - do I change my 992.2 C2S... Well, I thought the acceleration was more intense, the soundtrack just blows you away, handling was good too. And I think your comments on traction are about right - the 911 has great traction with the engine in the rear and something that gave it an advantage, overall totally different to the previous version in almost every way for the better.
Brian Makse looking for a Vantage to purchase right now. Looks like that’s my final decision. I wanted something with a lot of road presence and a sense of occasion every time I take the wheel. Will be purchasing within the next week. Got my eye on a 2019 with 6,000KMs for $150,000CAD which is an absolute bargain.
The Jaguar F-Type V8 SVR is even better, although it doesn't look athletically sexy as the Vantage! I enjoyed driving this car in New Zealand on country roads for a day and I loved it. I then took an F-Type SVR for a test drive; better all around but not quite as sexy... So I bought the SVR and I have driven it all over the country, clocking up 30,000 km and I just adore it...
Interesting choices. Both very good at what they do. Each do things very differently. NSX has great tech, but minimal storage, for example. Vantage has the sound and the brand. What else is in the garage and what’s going to be important to you for this purchase?
It looks different in a way the new Honda Civic Si looks. Yes to me it’s about looks. An Aston is about sophistication and old Vantage had it in spades, inside and out. This looks entirely too much in your face front and back. And that tablet inside, damn. I get the DB11 and pass on what was once a beautiful entry level Aston.

Glad you enjoyed. Stick around!
Superb video buddy. Aston Martin vantage has been my FAVORITE SPORT CAR EVER! I’ve been waiting for that review for a while from you! Thx🙏🏽
Glad you enjoyed!
AM need a 400 lb lighter manual road car Vantage
“That’s plenty quick and plenty fast” aaaahh finally a journalist who acknowledges the difference! 👍👍
Been here for the last ten years or so.

You’re spot on. Very different from the DB11. Lots of attitude.
Brian, greetings from Germany, excellent car reviews , superb explanations and appetizers
Thanks, Ernst. Glad you enjoyed this one.
Awesome review Brian! I am now considering ordering a new Vantage......hard to decide which color.
I’ve got plenty of good ideas. Hit me up if you can’t decide!
I envy you very much, Sir, given this is my dream car.
Brilliant video Brian, I would love one - even as a Porsche fan. I am sure Aston will get a few sales from just this video. :-)
I’d like to think so, but we both know that’s not gonna happen! Glad you enjoyed it.

Whoa. This episode is three years old.

Have to assume you mean 991.2. Wonderful car. Turbos change the game. The Vantage is a charming experience. Interested to hear how it goes.
@@BrianMakse ah yes, 991.2, corrected! Yes, the previous NA version you to get into the the 5k rev range to get the power going.
True. Nearly everything is turbocharged now, along with identical torque curves. But - the Vantage has tons of character.
Beautiful car, sounds , and designed. Also, nice white dial Daytona Brian.
Thanks. They Daytona almost matched the car perfectly, but I still can’t tell time on those things.
I love this car. I do wish they had a better looking steering wheel. Nice review Brian.
No issues with the wheel, IMO. Glad you enjoyed it.
Awesome review! Currently cross shopping this with an AMG GTS, 992 C2S, 991.2 Turbo S, and Audi R8 in that order.
Made a decision yet? What are your top decision factors?

That's a very bold statement.
Excellent cinematography! Would you mind sharing your audio/ camera setup?
It’s nothing special. Just the basics and they’re reliable.
One of the Sexiest Coupes being produced today 👌🏽
Agreed.
Yesterday a saw the óld' model. Still a beautifull car.
Brian. NSX or vantage? I’m in the market. Which would you buy?

Great video
Thanks, but if you liked it don't tell us, tell your friends.
If you had to choose between this and an '18 Audi R8 V10+, which you pick?
This.

Thanks
Very nice.
The car or my ravishing good looks?
Thanks, I didn't know it didn't have Apple Carplay.
Wish it did.
It’s does! It doesn’t have android. I just bought a new one and apple car play all day
@@matthewbruhin991 What country u based. My uk version certainly doesn't have Apple CarPlay

I am sorry to say you all, the new design make the old design look old. They shift high. Go Aston Martin!
The previous car will forever be one of the most beautiful designs of all time.
Is it a short person car?..or can a 6ft tall person can drive comfortably?
I’m a short person.
I'm 6ft and have loads of room in mine. Its a great daily drive, makes a dull day so much better!!!
