Thank you so much...literally had no clue what to do cause my window felt so heavy and wouldn’t open. Turns out the Notch wasn’t locked properly and somehow I’m missing a pivot bar
@@ralphmainville7 You need to identify the manufacturer of your window, somehow? Swisco, online does sell some replacement springs, and shoes and complete balance assemblies.
So, I have a double hung window in a 2003 pre-fab home from Canada. This is the closest video to my situation. How can I be sure I'm buying the right coil tension thingy-thingy? Are they standard and I can just pick one up from my local Ace Hardware in Massachusetts?
