Dylan is honestly the nicest youtuber ever. Who else creates an DAW converter and AI generator for free in his spare time?
Frank Pole (who literally creates free clones of paid plugins in patcher): am I a joke to you?
I have been summoned
Frank Pole : *Am i a Joketh to thee*
Geez, true, amazing person
I love the project and think it's amazing. I think one of the reasons why the usage has dropped off is because people forgot about it. I remember first learning about and trying it out but I haven't used it since not because it isn't useful or anything but simply because I forgot that it existed.
I think encouraging RUclipsrs or doing them yourself, creating challenge videos where you have to make a song using the template in under 10 minutes or something like that will help to keep Jukeblocks on people's radars as they are getting exposed to it.
Sorry for the long comment, I just really wanted to help out as I love Jukeblocks so much!!!
(P.S. I would make videos on it myself but I only have 300 subscribers lol so it wouldn't make much impact)
you have to shill anything you make hard nowadays because everything is a commodity
The Helper notes really helps. Most of the time I'd just stand the confused how the instrument stated matches in with whole song
Keep up the amazing work Dylan. The music production community needs more people like!
The extending your track feature from 8 bars sounds really helpful. Good job making all of what’s there already work as well
wait, SOUNDEMOTE WORKED WITH YOU?!
Damn, i was not expecting THAT!
I love this site!
I only use it very rarely but when I do, it really helps me go get fresh ideas. Thank you so much for making it!
I'm a Reaper user myself so I'm really glad you added that.
I don't know how much work the converter was but I could really use one for Reaper.
Also, I often don't really understand how the drum patterns are supposed to work in the project files since they do seem kind of random at times. So having a midi with the drum patterns would be really helpful.
That website help me A LOT, Thanks and love to see how far it goes.
Can't wait till you start getting into machine learning and AI
He already did didnt he

@@jesuschristimsoblueallthetime r/no also there is something called a reply feature you know
Don't stop making videos, you're awesome
Reaper boys, we made it in
Dylan, I love Jukeblocks! I've gotten so much inspiration and I am very thankful to have it as a tool in my toolbox... and I'm a Reaper user :P Thank you so much!!
that automation converting feature is so cool. keep up the good work
thank you spekular
yay! new dylan video
Omg this man is an absolute beast
We need a rock/etc. genre!
Incredible work! :)
Love these projects ❤️thank you for all you do!
Keep the good work!
This is one of the most exciting projects I've seen in a while. I'm really curious to see where you will take from here.
OMFG THIS IS SO PERFECT FOR ME! Thank you so much for this! I can relate to never knowing how to structure songs sooo much! I will post updates on how things would go from here
Rad shit man good on you for sticking with it!
Cmon man respect us lmms users
Only just discovered your channel but you're awesome dude. Very inspiring!
such a cool tool. so excited to see it progressing. thank you for all your labor and effort
I've been waiting for another update since the minute you made the last one lol haha. I can't wait for the day that I can collab with any artist no matter the daw
Dylan in 2023: "I made a website where you can upload your dreams and it outputs a project in every single format known to man - FL Studio, Ableton, Photoshop, Vegas, Sunvox, Blender..."
Yeah I'm gonna be needing this one
Great job
Thank you so much for them helper notes!
That's really cool. Thanks
This is genious. Seems to be a great tool. Thank you.
You're absolutely amazing
I use LMMS a lot, so it's cool to see that added in.
seeing the flp->alp being so popular makes me very happy
Amazing Generator, just WOW. On another video you asked for suggestions, here are mine: Folk and Jazz. Jazz doesn't really function normal forms but in very simplistic in A for Refr and B for Bridge (C, D, E, stand for different melodies/hooks/outros). Normally Jazz Songs work on 2 - 4 bar melodies with a II V at the end of each phrase (sometimes just a V). Normaly drums follow melodies and fill out spaces. Also one suggestion for the generator would be a suggestion for a modulation/keychangenote like Refr 1 in A-Minor and then Refr 2 A-Major or A-Lydian.
Still an amazing Tool to get inspired while arranging or writing tool- just wow :o
So something that I think I noticed and what needs to be worked on a bit more is the helper notes… at least for Logic Pro users like my self…
but I produce primarily trap/hip hop, however, what confuse me for a minute was understanding what (-12, +12) means, now I know that you was probably talking about octaves but I didn’t catch that first hand …
so just a bit more descriptive, still a huge fan and big support, love to see the future updates of where this thing goes!!
Damn see, I spend allot of time back end developing in js and it's fun, but to see the amount of usability that you actually put into this is shocking good shit my guy, keep up the grind.
Dylan where did you go? I hope you're well. I hope you're going to come back. I really love Jukeblocks and think it's way ahead of it's time, but prime for re-invigoration with the slew of new AI tools coming out for music production. No pressure if you've been going through something, really sending the best wishes and thank you for all the content you uploaded to date & the hard work you put into Jukeblocks. I still use it!
So darn cool :>
What an incredible job you did on this. Thanks a bunch. I just subscribed and hopefully more will to help you with finances.
The only issue I have right now is getting longer arrangements. I generally like 5 minute + songs for a specific genre that I work on. So if you ever have the time, it would be cool to add the length option to your paid subscriptions. 😊
Oh my God
I'm just waiting for more videos like 'how to eurobeat/hardbass/deadmau5'
The 8bar prediction thing sounds nuts but insanely awesome at the same time
LMMS gang 💪
holy shit the thing at the end, im gonna use it right now
Is there any chance you'd add Logic support to the converter? I've got some really great friends I love working with but they all use FL or Ableton, so it's very difficult to collab on beats, and I think this would be a very useful tool.
This looks pretty good! Any plans on integrating Reason?
Steve Duda: *sheds a tear as Dylan removes serum "Maybe I don't like this plugin"*
🙌🙌🙌🙌
I remember checking in December, trying to figure out if I could import FLS projects into LMMS, and then deciding to wait until there was official LMMS support
I'm excited now
Would love to see Cubase support added :)
Yeah, that would be great :)
I’m definitely guilty of not using it as much as I did, but I’m still producing at least 1 full tune a month with it.
Been subscribed to your project since you launched it and I love using it for ideas!! can we see a new 2-year stats update?! :D
In terms of usage stats it's really about the same. Although only just now am I starting to get into promotion and seeing how that effects the site. I do have tons of extra features added since this video so those could be worth a video on it's own.
@@DylanTallchief yeah, things like V1, V2, V3 what exactly those mean for files etc.
I really enjoy the plugins feature working more smoothly, it never acknowledged that I had one selected
I know this is probably a "not gonna happen" but any plans for a possible dubstep genre release? or for like $1/month upgrade?
I actually added a description for V1,2,3 in the account page a month or so back. Not incredibly in-depth descriptions but just a simple overview of why they exist (and it's really just for historic reasons, not something I expect users to need to use).
I've actually wanted to do a Dubstep template for a long time, but Jukeblocks only works with one bar of music at a time. For almost all genres of music this is absolutely fine, but in dubstep you'll have 3 or 4 different basses playing in the span of 1 bar. That's a lot more complicated to do. I still want to get there, but they'll probably be a riddim genre before dubstep happens.
Other features that will probably happen beforehand is Chord and Note Generation (which I'm currently working on), other DAWs in the converter like ProTools, and a Jukeblocks desktop app that let's you use your own samples in the templates.
All things I think would be awesome, but will probably take some time before they're ready.
@@DylanTallchief My dawg! that sounds like an incredible roadmap you're working on, I wish I was more useful in the programming aspect of things I would have offered my help many many moons ago, I'm very excited to see how this continues to evolve into the future!
I actually have had a pretty big platform idea in my head for maybe three years but I have no idea who to talk to about it or how/where to even begin thinking about starting.
for now you seem busy but maybe if you had some other great minds I could possibly reach out to privately that would be amazing, if not, no worries, I'll always have the idea until someone puts it to use 😅
What if you make videos where you write songs using the web tool that you made? That would give you advertising for your product.
will you bring back the feedback streams at some point? :3
i believe in lmms supremacy
Dylan, can you or someone explain why their are extra added sound and tracks but no sound in them? is that for me so i can fill them in with something that it recommends?
what about random notes or melodies for the bacelines
Day two from the last video:
"Now I'll wait for the fl mobile to fl studio pc project converter."
Hectic
great job! how about making ableton macOS project to ableton PC project converter so all the AU plugins are converted to VST3? as far as i could see you can convert only Logic to Ableton with AU converted to VST3
I really like where you are going with this project! I want to subscribe to it but I’m wondering if you will ever do a subscription where it’s like $4 a month $20 for 12 months (those are just some examples). Also are you going to add more features for logic users to?
This is very epic.
😎
Hey Dylan, have you tried to experiment by inputing a template? and then jukeblocks could put the midi on the tracks with the patches? ex: you input the template als to jukeblocks and it will write the midi tracks on top of the instrument.
I absolutely love this site and concept, I think your site would greatly benefit if you are able to add a feature similar to converting Ableton 10 to 9, and having that option for FL Studio, idk if that's possible, but I think tons of people would really love and appreciate a feature like that
pigments 3 not in the plugin list 😔
gj on the new features, thanks man
Where can i have the "DJ Snake Let-me love You " FLP ? The download link seems not to work
I can't seem to get it to work with reaper. I see no midi notes, or automation. Everything is placed in the timeline but no midi is assigned to anything.
Would love one for Cakewalk man
Hey Dylan, has the BPM tempo and timestretch issue from FLP to ALS been addressed in the updated version of jukeblocks, or will it be like your previous video?
Hey Jack,
Fundamentally it can't be addressed because audio file information isn't stored in the FLP file.
HOWEVER, I am working with someone so you can upload zip files of the flp + audio files, which will scan them and use that information to accurately warp them.
It's very close to done!
everybody gangsta till he starts adding a mixing and mastering mode
Could you add calkwalk?
What stoppped me from using the generated project files more (FL Studio) was that I could not merge them with my custom project template. I am not sure if there is any way to fix that, but maybe implementing stuff like busses for drums, synths, percussion etc. would be enough that I didn't have to set up so much every time I use one of these.
Providing a user template project for Reaper would be a big help actually, so I imagine FL studio would be similar. What if the website had a place to put your template projects for your DAWs in the user account section?
Can it straight up take a ableton live 11 project with samples and midi lights and convert the whole thing ?
Edit : Is there a reason why it only works with live 11 to convert to 9 or 10 but I can't convert 10 projects.
any plans or updates on LES for live 11?
ur a beautiful man and you made a beautiful website
I have used this since march, i only dont know how to make automation clips or what texts like #Mute mean
when I open a converted file from FLP to Ableton, all the automation is routed to automation lanes like "Parameter 1", but I they don't go to anything and are locked so I can't reroute the automation. What do I do??
Can you send me the original project file at contact@jukeblocks.io ?
I'll take a look at it and fix the issue.
It would be awesome if you could also find a way to collab in daws the same way you can collab on Google drive documents
hey dylan, can you make future riddim ( 7/4 or 11/8 time signature ) make some crazy offbeat solos pls
Can't wait until this works with Reason
Gamer moment.
Cant wait for using random Presets
You are doing great job. I think you should focus on project file convertion part. Very less website do that. You can just provide tutorial flp and ask to convert them to Als with your website 👍
you probably have already answered this but how did you train the model?
I forgot about this site. I like your randomized idea. I do plan on buying your subscription once I stop being trash at FL🗑
Make a Serum to Vital converter next
I've been a paying subscriber since launch but I think I've only used it the first day and then I remember I have it every month that I get charged haha - as much as I hate emails from companies asking me to use their product, well...I think a periodic email from Jukeblocks talking about upcoming features or the latest features added would be a great way to remind me the site exists and encourage users to use it more. Haven't made much music lately either which is the other half of the issue hahaha. (It's also possible that you already do those emails and that I accidentally opted out maybe out of habit)
Actually no, I haven't sent any of those type of emails out because of those exact reasons (don't want to be spammy), but I probably should. Thank you for subscribing!
still cant believe he went from amking music to making the DAW that makes the music
lmms to ableton converter?
Jopir!
Hey you added support for lmms? cool.
Hey Dylan how you doing? I've subscribed to your Jukeblock's! I was hoping to be able to convert my FLP's to ALS but they are missing a lot of the samples and plugins! I've added plugins that are used into the conversion but I still don't have any luck in loading the projects into Ableton. I went form Ableton last year then went FL for a short period of time and now only use FL for making my uptempo kicks sometimes! Am I missing something? I don't want to waste my money that I just gave you! Plus I'm trying to convert uptempo FLP's from 200bpm but when you're om hardstyle it only gives you the option of 150bpm? I hope I'm missing something as I really want this to work a listening back to my FL CPU hungry processor is unbearable!
Some native synths like 3xOsc won't convert because it doesn't exist in Ableton, but I actually do have support for a lot of native synths like Harmor, Sytrus, etc. Other VST2/VST3/AU plugins should also work. So it's weird if it's not working.
Please send me the original project file at: contact@jukeblocks.io and I'll figure out what's going on.
@@DylanTallchief ok thanks mate, I won't be long!
@@DylanTallchief email sent mate!
Future Bass when?
Yo is it coming to GarageBand?
Please add the converter from fl studio to reaper
