I feel like if Eric Johnson used GarageBand, he would make something similar to this preset. Sounds killer, man.
One thing that I’ve done with the amp designer pluggin for awhile is have two instances of the pluggin. One containing the head w/ no cab and the other using the transparent head and cab. My reason is you can place a compressor or gain stage that will perform some version of clipping in between the amp and the cab sim so that you get more harmonics before the speaker. Otherwise getting more power tube distortion is not possible with that specific pluggin.
You should definitely make a course on song writing!
