Wanted to say thank you for this support...Helped me understand about this D.A.W .wow the truth after almost 2in a half years or above.i have been using abelton and machinestudio logic mpc2.0 studio one4. And other programs just to see if there might be something that can be more comfortable and after all I never would’ve thought that I would be happier using #GarageBand every thing you mentioned towards the end is super true about the work flow I’m so impressed and absolutely amazed.but my honest opinion for anyone who wants to make music and not have to go thru that hard decision of what should you use my honesty opinion is go for garage band don’t mean to shine off other Company’s it’s good to always try newer products or older all that matters is as long as you want to really learn and enjoy your time making music and what ever makes you happier in life and fits your shoes wish everyone the best in their journey

I Had to come back and revisit some of your past videos. I'm coming out of a very long creative slump and I have forgotten so much. I got my first computer/Imac in 2015. My introduction to the internet was Garageband and Beyond. You were my very first sub. You had me up and running in no time making great recordings in my bedroom using Garageband. Although I do have an home studio now my equipment hasn't changed much other than better mics and cables. But I'm so pleased that just rewatching a few of your older videos everything came flooding back. Thank You man.
Been playing guitar on and off for 30+years and writing. I just jumped into the world of singing! This video is going to help me tremendously! I’ve been way over mixing to the point where I start to go down a total rabbit hole! So thanks again. Looking forward to mixing my next tune. ✌️

I’ve been considering the Slate digital everything package for some time now, however, I keep coming back to factory GB plugins cuz I feel I haven’t mastered using them yet ... this is, yet another one of your videos that, very simply demonstrates my own need to press on with GB and continue to experiment and learn what’s already there for us in GB .... thank you Lewin for a extremely helpful and timely video ... please keep them coming , you’re helping me immensely

Heres some starting point -ideas for future Music Mondays: Now that you have your Waves auto tuner(or you can certainly use GB's)how about a tune with full blown T-Pain tuned vocals.(It doesnt necessarily gave to be a rap song) 2nd idea-How about showing off your IK orchestral tympani and glockenspiel! Like in a wall of sound Phil Spector 60s pop song?Thanks

whenever I try the eq thing when I press pause whilst the analyser is selected the the wave things just go back down and they don't stay where they are am I doing something wrong?

I am a soca artist so its more drum and base my still and my vocals so how would you mix a sound that has to be heavy and dark in Sonics but still get it to sound clean and clear. I’m now starting production as well but I’ve been putting in the hours now and want to Move to the next level but don’t want to put poor quality out. Bless up man

Tbake1234 Thank you for subscribing and for watching! To load in more than the stock five plug-ins, just put your mouse cursor anywhere in between those five and you will see a small white line.. Click on that line and you will be able to add another plug-in.
lmao you dont know about any of the apple plugins. this is the most basic way to mix vocals and it makes the quality so much worse than what it could be. We all learn at different paces though!

How do you keep the EQ wave form on the screen? Every time I pause or stop it disappears.
