This is awesome; thanks for doing this! And really impressive results! I don't know if this is something you'd be interested in doing, but I would totally watch longer videos if you wanted to tell us a bit about your process -- e.g., how'd you know to use those exact settings? How'd you know to use both the amp EQ and a graphical EQ pedal? How'd you figure out that trick with the two different OD/distortion pedals mixed together? And so on. (You clearly know what you're doing!)
Thanks for the compliment and glad you liked it. Yeah I was very happy to get the results you hear. I plan to keep modeling other tones but if the demand grows for deeper dives that can be interesting also.
dude thank you so much. i am just getting back into guitar after a 15 year hiatus and step 1 is to get the right sound so i am motivated to play. i had no idea what i was doing, but this video allowed me to get a crazy good sound. I tried some custom plugins and stuff suggested on reddit but nothing sounds as good as this. i also added the digital version of that tube screamer and it sounds incredible.
That's awesome! - you got back to playing, and happy to hear that my video helped you achieve a decent tone. I have many other tone setups on my channel if you want to explore further. Rock on!
@@RichTones I’m into quite vary and diverse musicians or bands. Currently looking for sound from 2000s rock/alternative bands. Anyway are you into 60s or 70s sounds like Cream, Jefferson Airplane, or even Beatles?
This doesn't work for me. Whenever I copy these settings I'm getting a muddy tone that sounds nothing like the demo. What amp do you have preselected? I can't seem to figure it out.
If you are adding gain or overdrive then that will generate more noise, when you are not playing a note. You will need to adjust the threshold on the Noise gate in the plug-in menu. Adjust the slider up or down to where it cancels the noise, but then allows your signal when playing normally. Sometimes more volume is better than more gain, so experiment with that also.
I don’t use iPad, but I would imagine that the GarageBand app has very similar amp settings available. I only play and record on the full Mac version. Let me know if you try to replicate!
Fantastic tutorial Rich! 🤘🤘🤘
Very kind of you, thanks for the compliment Patrick! Always look forward to your videos✌️✌️

Where can I found the midi and bass?

Any tips for garageband on ipad/iphone?

@@RichTones Ipad version of garage band seems limited... Or it can be my issue that i`m not looking where i should....
the title is inaccurate if you are piping through an actual pedal :(
What if I don’t have an actual guitar
Well this is designed for guitar players, so…
@@RichTones oh, I’m sorry
I'm sorry I know it garageband but it sounds trash
it doesn't work for everyone, but many have complimented this setting. Thanks.
Could u try the black album guitar tone?
Definitely on my list! Working on a bunch of new stuff!
