My Least Favorite Romance Trope 💔

Another day, another trope. This time, I discuss the most common narrative device in Romance and Rom-Coms: The Third-Act Breakup. This trope is often done poorly, more so than well.
So what can be done to improve it? Do Romance and Rom-Com stories always have to use this trope?
