E-Lecture - International Museum Day 2024 - Jahangir Hussain - Museums for Education and Research

Welcome to our E-Lecture on "Museums for Education and Research", on the occasion of International Museum Day 2024, live on our RUclips Channel at 04.30 PM on 18 May 2024. Our Resource Person is Jahangir Hussain, Director General, Heritage Foundation, Bangladesh and Member ICOM Working Group on Statutes and Rules. Prior to those roles he was the Director (Keeper) of Bangladesh National Museum. In his 41-year professional career ranging from administrative to curatorial roles he has been responsible for implementing some major projects for the establishment of new museums and also played pivotal roles during his 3 tenures as the Chairperson of the Bangladesh National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM-Bangladesh).
