For Hindus, not consuming beef comes as a matter of respect for the animal
For Muslims, not accepting Idol Worship comes as a matter of bigotry and hate for other faiths. That's the difference and it says a lot about the underlying fundamentals of both ideologies.

@@samin096 But idols do not represent Allah, they represent people of great importance. Just like people hang pictures of their parents or grandparents.
Just because I prey to Buddha or Ram who were actual people doesn't mean Im preying to Allah. You prey to Allah, I'll prey to mine. Why is there a problem?

Yes , breaking of Durga idols are extremely upsetting for we Hindus , however radical people exist in all countries .
Sad fact of life .
