Honestly, right now, I could see Tsereidnich's biggest opponent being someone like Uvogin or Gon. A big punchy fight boy who won't try to lie to him and just puts a fist through his face. Because according to the rules set out by this video, the threat has to be something he himself could dodge or tank normally, and right now at least, he's still barely above human limits
@Laquan Lucas hisoka is tricksy, that might set off miss horse face and Hisoka would be obligated to f around and find out, but if he goes on all out murder mode from the start then yeah, I'd give him 70% odds at least
@@TheBigE9999 four prince Hastu is not ready for combat just yet. Four prince whatever need from melody get to fix the flaw in his ability. To make it tap stronger than you have Hisoka known finding weak point in somone hastu ability in battle.
In good HxH fashion, I actually understood this ability pretty well when it was first shown, then became more and more confused with each explanation that Togashi offered, only to eventualy realise my first impression was correct anyway, I think sometimes Togashi is a bit guilty of overexplaining things
It would make logical sense for Tsereidnich to create an ability with glaring flaws, because he's a relative nen newbie. We needed to have the ability explained both for clarity, but also to ensure that Tsereidnich truly possesses such a powerful ability. Considering his personality, it would make perfect sense for him to make an ability with stupid limitations like only affecting women he acknowledges who also lies to him. That would make the ability effectively useless. But because we got the thorough explanation and showcase, we know for a fact Tsereidnich has far eclipsed any other known nen users progression.
But it begs a bit more speculation, would he need to be killed within the 10 secs, or assuming he'd register the 10 sec flash to react on time, the instant his zetsu is off? Such a cool ability to wrap you head around
I just imagine this as Diavolos ability being able to change a 10 second time frame, with the exception being instead of people not remember or knowing the 10 seconds passed they lived out those 10 seconds the way they would have without knowledge of the 4th prince changes
Tserriednich is such a terrifying villain in this arc specifically. Any other arc you could just punch him to dust, but since this arc is run by lies and deception, he is almost unstoppable.
He really is ominous. I agree the extra scheming and plotting makes him even more threatening. And his nen beasts and talent. "Terrifying" is perfect word well said
What's kinda funny is Gon would be his kryptonite. He doesn't lie and he has the physical ability to just punch him super hard in a way he couldn't react.
The fact that the water during Tserri’s nen divination test boiled and rotted was already enough for me to consider him one of the scariest dudes in all of hxh
I think his ability is such a great reflection of his desire for total control, inability to trust others, and fear of vulnerability. He needs to see all possible universes because he can't conceive of himself as failing or making mistakes. He can see bullets coming before they do, but more importantly he can see his mistakes before they happen (ie breaking his concentration) so that they never really happen. These parallel futures are worlds where he's the only person in control of all variables, a world where no one can possibly best him, since he can see what they say and do before they say and do it, making him invulnerable to even a slight slip of the tongue, because that's the exact kind of world he desires for himself.
He's like Diavolo but there are differences, Diavolo deletes everything he doesn't trust, he follows a boring and horrible path just to rule the underground world, presumably just because he loves being in control. Tse however goes around murdering people as recreation, picking fights and even keeping the girl who tried to kill him as her mentor just because he likes her, he wants the path that brings him the most pleasure towards anything he does, doesn't matter the risk, he wants to have a good time being the prince and the king.
Theta was terrified by Tserri's aura without having to touch it or experience it that's why she thought he had to die asap or the worst will happen and she wasn't in zetsu state so she was able to overcome fear to make that decision I think it's more about how dark and twisted you know this person can be and the anticipation of what they'll do to you if you're at their mercy... the psychological damage is huge and can paralyze you, especially when you're like Knov in a defenseless state.. it reminds me of Gon when he was basically in zetsu following Hisoka during the hunter exam... Hisoka's blood thirst was hard to endure he couldn't move and Hisoka wasn't using En either so he didn't touch it but felt the murderous intent when he was unprotected ...and imo Pouf is way more twisted than Hisoka or even Pitou so no wonder Knov reacted that way... and from a writer's perspective it was a great way to show that Pouf was 'something else' before we actually see it
I think its worth pointing it, that part of the reason he reacted so strongly was because it was a Royal Guard's aura he was exposed to. In other words, it was a level of power beyond the limits of Human Nen. I know most people think Netero was being humble when he said Pitou was stronger then him, I personally think Pitou had more Raw Nen Reserves but would lose to Him in a fight. Regardless, Netero had 100+ years of experience, the Royal guard were only a few months old, and I'm reasonably sure if they'd lived to even 1 year old, and put effort into honing their Nen abilities, the Royal guards were all capable of surpassing him. So yeah, being exposed to Inhuman nen on such a terrifying scale, pretty traumatic. If Hisoka or Illumi's aura is a blizzard, A Royal guard probably feels like the Vacuum of Space
@@runtergerutscht4401 D4C has multiversal powers I believe. Here is a video that would make it closer to Tsereidnich's nen ability. ruclips.net/video/X30YXFzq5Ys/видео.html
When you use Zetsu, you keep 100% of your aura from leaking out by shutting the flow off like a water spigot. My theory is that true mastery of zetsu means being able to execute hatsu by controlling one's aura while it is still completely within one's body, instead of projecting it outside of the body first, via ten/ren/gyo, what-have-you. It that's the case, it'll turn our entire understanding of nen from its introduction in the Heaven's Arena Arc to this point all the way on its head.
Tserriednich’s power works kind of like programming. He’ll fork reality like a git repo, then make changes to his branch while the main branch does its own thing, and finally he’ll administer a pull request on reality and merge changes on top of the main reality. Whenever he goes into zetsu, he uses SSH to securely send his aura to his nen beast so it can see and exist. I wonder what his favorite language is? 🤔
Maybe not the best example but Doctor Blythe puts Pitou into an effective state of zetsu besides her tail. She was also a specialist so it’s possible specialization let’s people tap into abilities that can be used Will your nen is suppressed in some way.
It's quite simple. Tserriednich closes his eyes and activates Zetsu. Now, time has paused in real life. Tserriednich then sits down in his brain and watches a video clip of the next 10 seconds, starting from second 0 of what he was about to see before closing his eyes. After the 10 second clip is over, or after Tserriednich opens his eyes, he can freely change his own actions and alter the result of the 10 second clip, but everyone else still sees the old Tserriednich in the clip. It is only when their perception of the 10 seconds ends that they can see the new result of Tserriednich's actions. Tserriednich may also alternatively keep viewing time after 10 seconds of the clip passes, however, there is a side effect. Time is no longer paused in the outside world, and it starts from second 0 of his vision, as opposed to second 10 where Tserriednich currently is viewing. He can theoretically maintain this state forever or until his aura runs out.
It's honestly scary how few people actually get this, it kind of hurts seeing people make videos and huge comments about theories when they don't even know how the ability works.
You mean it going to never end and take forever? Please, he drops his overly complicated powers at the drop of the hate when he wants to just do cool moments
Thanks for explaining this, Liam! Finally starting to wrap my head around it... So it really is the choicd between guns blazing and going as long as you cand without straight up lying.
Specialist already negates most known nen rules, however I gotta say, in keeping with his character, the restriction of being in zetsu, to activate a nen beast that stems from his subconscious desire to protect himself always seems legit. Would love to see Kurapika use stealth dolphin to get this nen beast ability.
his current goal is getting parallel future and zetsu in the time it takes to blink. considering his progress speed I doubt it'll take him long to get to. if he manages to reduce the time of his zetsu to a split second then the huge cost of the ability is going to reduce a lot. he is terrifying
@horn It's busted but not without weakness. He can't do anything about overwhelming force really. Someone like adult Gon or Uvogin would be able to survive any damage he could inflict on them. A 10 second head start wouldn't be nearly enough for him to run away from them either. He also has to use his ability preemptively, so even someone like Meleoron would be able to kill him since he would have no way of avoiding a perfect stealth first strike.
@horn Just because he can see into the future, doesn't mean that he can counter everything that's coming to him. For example, if Uvo were to use his Big Bang attack on the ground or if Feitan were to use his Rising Sun ability assuming that he had some moderate injuries, then Tseriednich has zero ways to counter the AOE damage. Another bad matchup with be against Killua if the latter were to use Godspeed which would be too fast for Tseriednich to go through the step by step process of going into Zetsu and closing his eyes to use his Parallel Future ability. I think the worse matchup by far would be Gon, because it makes Tseriednich's Nen Beast useless, and considering Gon's overwhelming brute force attacks, it'll leave Tseriednich all but useless to counter.
@horn You do have to use it preemptively. You can't undo anything that happened before you used it. It doesn't matter how strong you are. If you have to use Zetsu you're vulnerable. If you ever get blitzed you can't really do anything with this ability. It's fantastic against a lot of abilities, but it really can't do much against strong enhancers. And if you're strong enough to have another powerful ability to go with it, then that's not really this ability being totally overpowered and not belonging in the series. Any character that has a complicated useful ability paired with a general durability and power ability is going to be a monster.
@horn Ok, assuming that using the ability uses absolutely no nen at all it's broken, but I don't think that's the case. The only way you could be truly invincible with it is if you used it every 10 seconds all the time. If you don't you can still just be surprised like anyone else.
@horn "This means during those 10 seconds Tseriednich is free to do pretty much anything to his opponent without them being able to fightback." You aren't understanding what I am trying to say. The opponents that Tserriednich can't beat are those who have quicker reactionary time than he does. He needs to activate Zetsu and close his eyes, and in the world of HxH, half a millisecond can mean life or death. That's why I said that if, let's say, Killua fought Tserriednich with the knowledge of him knowing the latter's ability, Godspeed alone will blitz Tserriednich into oblivion before he gets to use Parallel Future. And as for the likes of those like Gon or even Enhancers like Uvogin, knowing that Tserriednich can do whatever he pleases during that 10 second span, all they need to do is go for the AOE damage and relentlessly attack for more than 10 seconds giving Tserriednich no chance to properly counter them. Even Emitters like Zeno can use Dragon Dive to halt Tserriednich from obstructing him from doing anything within that 10 seconds. So you are COMPLETELY WRONG about them not being able to fight back. They can. Just keep attacking and press the W key with splash damage, preferably them being Enhancers or Emitters. Or people like Killua who have reactionary time that is beyond human limits.
Melody has been a favorite Hunter of mine in the recent arc. I'm not certain, it felt like a few seconds in the manga. But while Tserriednich was learning this ability, Melody started playing music for the King and entranced everyone that heard it into a luscious meadow. For 3 minutes Tserriednich forgot his surroundings and what he was doing/learning.
Another thing about Parallel Future is that he can use it multiple times if he can re-satisfy the conditions of closing his eyes again. This allows him to chain activations without time passing and what he is working on when training with Salkov at the end of chapter 386 (it takes him about 1 second to open and close his eyes currently).
@@LuhPain Yea Exactly that In general hes a Madman but in the terms of morale. So its only right that he goes mad through the eternal Nen Ability he gets stuck in
I'm really split on Tsereidnich as a character. He's fantastically written, imo, as truly despicable people are hard to write without becoming cartoony or stereotypical. I'm both genuinely interested in what would happen to Theta if she lied to him a third time, how Togashi would depict and handle it would be extremely tough to read. On the other hand I really like Theta and everything in me wants anything bad to happen to Tsereidnich. But as an aspiring writer, that makes me realise Togashi would probably do both. Let Tsereidnich make an example out of Theta, but be horribly defeated in return. I don't like having such expectations about these characters, so I just want it to be over. Having them on the same page fills me with anxiety.
@@sulam0166 hmm I guess you're right, idk I feel like he might or has already realized that weakness, if he doesn't develop his nen beasts' abilities or his own to counter that then I guess the only remaining weapon is the future sight
I think it's totally possible to conjure something that stays when you're using Zetsu, or are unconscious, or whatever. Like, Genthru's bombs don't just disappear if he takes a nap or decides to be sneaky. He creates them, and then they're independent, and don't rely on a continuous stream of aura. It could be the same with Tserriednich's second Nen beast.
First time hearing about this prince’s ability but the way you explained it made it extremely clear. Didn’t even need to pause or rewind the video. Great work!
I feel like the Parallel Future nen beast stores nen when not in use, then activates once the prince enters zetsu. This means it works as if it has a battery, and trying to use it in quick succession could drain that battery. It's one potential weakness for it, with the other being blind spots created by the angle the beast is viewing from.
Theory: It may be that Tserriednich doesn't need to remain in Zetsu when he opens his eyes and begins changing things in the "real" timeline. If this is the case, then Tserriednich is only in Zetsu in his fake vision world, and in reality he only enters zetsu for a brief period prior to the ability activation. This would explain why the nen beast isn't dispelled. Of course we don't actually know what Tserriednich is capable of doing in the parallel reality since we've only seen it in operation once.
I feel like the zetsu aspect will turn into a strength bc it will entice enemies to attack him, giving them a false sense of hope and he'll counterattack
I don't understand how the Zetsu is a liability in his case. If as soon as he 'forks' reality into two even if he is killed in the original reality while in zetsu he can change that and after 10 secs the 2 realities merge back together, right? How is it even a disadvantage?
@@geovaniraffaelli4508 it's only a liability at the present moment, bc he takes a few seconds to achieve true zetsu, and he cannot see through time and counter if it's not a perfect zetsu state (plus if he's standing still, eyes closed and vulnerable to malicious aura, it's easy to take him down) that's why he's aiming for getting it down to a blink of an eye
My guess is that the nen beast is 'deactivated" when he's being feed, and when the nen valves close its eyes open and the information is sent. Take it as the beast is asleep when being feed and only awakens and does something when the food is stoped.
I'd like to believe that the nen beast essentially time travels 10 seconds in the future right before tsereidnich uses zetsu. That could explain it being active even when zetsu is on as the beast is in the future where Tsereidnich isn't using zetsu. And or maybe Tsereidnich could've used some sort of emitter technique to give the nen beast its own aura reserve, wich would allow him to still see further than 10 seconds into the future.
Since in the hxh a conjured object can remain in the real world even after the user cutoff his aura. It's probably that the Nen beast is conjured and concealed with "In", and that explain why the Nen beast doesn't disappear after the prince use zetsu.
Yeah, also makes sense if his nen beast is projecting the future to Tserriednich, just like it is projecting it to everyone else. It's just that Tserriednich gets it 10 seconds ahead of everyone else. And tsu is not actually the one using nen during that state
Also makes sense why theta isn't able to see it either, it could be feeding them a predefined reality and just not include him in it. Also seems possible through standard manipulation abilities (just like how manipulators manipulate memories, it could be manipulating the brain in a similar way just in real time- Ging might have used this too) The specialist ability would be the one that is able to see into the future, not unheard of even in hxh. I wonder how much autonomy it has though, if it's as free roaming as the other nen beast or follows a more strict set of rules - maybe why it's able to last longer without the supply of Tserriednichs nen
My favorite is the fight that didn’t happen and was dismissed/denied completely. Hisoka vs Netero. Hisoka telling Netero he wanted to fight him the most then and there. Netero replied like, cool story bro anyways 😂 caught Hisoka completely off guard he didn’t even know what to do or how to react to Netero not caring nor feeling threatened by him at all 🤣
In zetsu, he(his Nen Beast)is/are, outside of Space and Time. He can see ten seconds ahead, and his actions create a parallel universe in which his actions alone can manipulate. Its limited to him only being able to manipulate that particular reality physically and only after he opens his eyes, since hes forced into a state of Zetsu. Hes also locked into the sight of his Nen Beast. So he has to make extremely careful decisions. He can still be overwhelmed and overpowered. Speed blitzed. Etc. His biggest strength is the fact that hes a genius.
I find the way Togashi explains things works perfectly for the way I think. First time reading Terror Sandwich's power, I instantly understood it. Later, I had it explained to me that his power was basically how King Crimson in Jojo's worked (after finishing part 5 I still had no clue how it worked).
lmao more like hides a collection of body parts. p.s. he didn't develop this technique. so this isn't a result of his genius or creativity. this isn't his hatsu, he just has been spawned with this hax version of zetsu that nobody else has. ofc it's not hax from a narrative standpoint because the final villain kurapika faces needs to be THAT evil and THAT powerful otherwise it gets a little boring.
@@rainiwakura2430 It's still his hatsu though. Hatsu is any application of nen manifests into and affects the world around it directly. Using gyo on your fist is hatsu, despite it also being gyo.
As someone who's only watched the anime: it sounds like a simple bomb would be this guy's worst enemy. Seeing 10 seconds ahead wouldn't save him nor reading lies. Netero used a bomb, and it was super effective.
I think that togashi is exploring the limits of nen in the current arc, and that Gon will discover a new way to fight, not dependent on nen. Koala hints at this, “small things are needed to build the entire universe . . . The size of a thing has nothing to do with its power.” The size of Gon’s nen has nothing to do with his power. He’ll find a way to keep on. He’ll come back like Kaneda, the hero from Akira, who had no supernatural powers whatsoever but who is able to triumph over tetsuo, though he doesn’t necessarily kill him.
I was literally reading these chapters earlier today and then we get a super helpful video explaining this crazy ability what a coincidence! Also those nen beasts give me the creeps.
Very King Crimson, but very different in how they ultimately work! Proves that the ability to control time will almost always be the most terrifying of powers.
What's really cool is before this ability was shown off in HxH, I had an NPC in an old RP community with a similar ability he called Quantum Immortality. It basically caused him to create multiple timelines each time he took damage or even died. Converging the timelines after the point of injury or death to allow him to appear unharmed and SERIOUSLY disorient anyone he was dealing with. The weakness for this ability is that it was tied to his ego/soul. So directly attack with raw magic or using attacks meant to damage the soul would carry over to his regeneration or just outright kill him.
wow, i have really grown to understand and appreciate his a ability now thanks to your video. It's every politicians worst nightmare. It's perfect for Tserr both in the hunter world and political world.
One thing we saw that might explain how nen is being used in zetsu would be something like a battery effect. The nen beast gets X amount of energy to act on its own during his zetsu, which would add an additional limitation.
There was a theory from other content creator that Ging also have the same ability as parallel future. He was actually Don freecss. My theory is that Don was able to finish the east edition but did not finish the west edition because according to Ging, there are three possibilities: it has yet to be found, it was never written, or Don is still working on writing it, which would suggest that he is still alive. West of the dark continent at that time was invaded by very strong haki users and Don needs travel to the future or past to complete the west edition. It is kinda the same mix ability when he created greed island and parallel future ability. Or copied one of the abilities from kurta clan on the dark continent not the one knew of. Don changed his name and appearance to Ging so no one will freak out. Sorry for may English I'm a Japanese.
Dude said micro aura lmfao. I love ur sense of humor, man. Ur definitely my new favorite anime RUclipsr. Ever since you changed up your channel with having a new editor and everything, your content has been solid gold. I love it. 😆😆
Two things came to mind with the nen beast, firstly the golden horse nen beast that is based on lies. Very simply you just have to yell the truth, but you can also just avoid the question or counter it with another question. So long as you don't lie, it never activates. Another thing about his main ability though is that he can only see into the future, but it doesn't guarantee that he can change it. A situation like when Castro had several threads attached to him for the playing card, the prince wouldn't be able to do anything about it
Nah its not reverse. its just all 3 King Crimson abillities used at once. 10 Second timestop or time compression whatever you want to call it, vision of the upcoming events in those 10 seconds and altering of the last 10 seconds showed to you. We as the Audience just saw these 3 parts happening at once wich is brilliant and why it feels so new. Togashi clearly was inspired by King Crimson here.. i think he cant deny that :P In Jojo we rarely saw King Crimson being used in Diavolos perspective. We only saw parts of its powers until the end (like he only stopped time vs Polnareff and that almost got him killed when Polnareff predicted his Movements), or when he did run around as Doppio only able to use Epitath.
Learning to instantly activate Zetsu would allow him to refresh the ability every 10 seconds, allowing him to essentially "live" in the special 10 second alternate reality. Meaning he will appear to be blinking out of existence to everyone else every 10 seconds, and attacking/killing him cannot stop him from appearing 10 seconds later. Though since he needs to still dodge/avoid attacks in his parallel universe, attacks that he is unable to avoid even with foreknowledge will still harm him normally, causing him to probably re-appear injured in a different point.
Honestly, knowing Nen we could assume that parallel future monsters is charging while not in use, activating independently, or being released only once Zetsu is achieved. Zetsu being a condition for ability to be used, so it's massive risk but big reward type of ability. And god, that dude created something like that by accident while training.
I would conjure a spirit beast that I have to clear a set of restrictions to activate, and then I can ask the beast what the best way to use any ability is. For example If I want to use killua's ability, the beast will give me a set of restrictions and after I clear that I can use the ability. This way I have to clear two sets of conditions but in return I get to use any ability and also I get the most efficient restrictions to use it.
probably something that can abuse the post mortem nen concept to activate and multiply exponentially upon achieving conditions, all whilst remaining alive, or at least a constant cycle of death and rebirth.
8:20 maybe that's why he needs a Nen beast instead of using it himself. The beast takes his aura and stores it, using it when he activates the ability.
There was a goofy theory floating around that the second beast belonged to Prince Woble. Or for something more sensible, it doesn't belong to Tserreidnich since he can use it in Zetsu. It belongs to some assassin or prince and his only serving him for the time being as a part of some plan.
I don't think we would be so interested in this ability if it was not Tserreidnich's. I have to say the Kakin Succession War arc has been my absolute favourite arc in HxH. Both the characters and the storyline are fantastic. Can't wait to see Kurapika vs Tserreidnich.
This is very similar to King Crimson, a Stand from JoJo Part 5. A simplified explanation of King Crimson is that its user can (1) see into the future up to 10 seconds ahead and (2) create a 10-second window of time where he is effectively intangible and which he 'erases' such that no-one else remembers what happened during those 10 seconds. When Parallel Future is used, other people experience 10 seconds of time and then 'shift' over into the user's timeline where different things happened. When King Crimson is used, time appears to 'skip forward' 10 seconds. Also, both the users of King Crimson and Parallel Future have notable elements of vulnerability; Parallel Future requires him to lower his Nen 'shields' to use, while King Crimson has an E-rank Durability making it extremely fragile if you can land a hit. King Crimson is undoubtedly stronger, because it renders the user essentially invulnerable during is use, and Parallel Future won't help if (for example) someone vastly faster and stronger than you attempts to murder you. In that scenario, Parallel Future would just create 10 seconds of a reality where the user died, then switch over to a reality where the user died in a slightly different way. Meanwhile, King Crimson can be used to avoid instant-death attacks, gain knowledge of an opponent's techniques without them realizing, and is frequently used so the user can suddenly appear after the 'skip forward' in their enemy's blind spot for an unexpected lethal blow. King Crimson is in fact so powerful that the only way the author could figure out a way to beat it was to introduce the strongest Stand in the entire series, which has the ability to just nullify anything and everything including King Crimson's ability.
I remember a comment suggesting Chrollo steals Tserriednich ability and I questioned if Chrollo would be able to use it because using zetsu wouldn't it cause his book Bandit's Secret to disappear, but I also said maybe Tserriednich ability would activate before Bandit's Secret disappears. So maybe Chrollo would be able to see the first 10 seconds when time is basically stopped past that and time would start moving and Bandit's Secret disappears. It's interesting to think about nen ability's restrictions, limitations and interactions between different nen abilities. I've watched some DnD campaigns on twitch/youtube and thought about a HxH DnD campaign and using the game rules as restrictions for nen abilities like a broken ability but you gain 1 Exhaustion each time you use it or Phinks ability you take an action to rotate your arm at the start you can only do like 2 rotations but as you level up eventually taking 1 action is 10 rotations like your character is able to do it faster for example.
Kurapika's win condition here is using chain jail on the prince. Tsereidnich may be a Spider though it may not even be necessary for Kurapika to enact ultimate revenge ... Let's consider both possibilities. Before that though, Tsereidnich will learn that placing even more conditions on his ability will make it stronger (such as telling an opponent the conditions needed and the nature of his ability). Kurapika will likely learn Tsereidnich's conditions and ability through this means, or another (via deduction at the very least if he gets access to the prince). Togashi's story telling shines when opponents know of each other's abilities and cleverly use their own rules against them. End game: 1. If the prince is a spider, use Chain Jail on Tsereidnich and force him into a state of Zetsu. Already a win, but knowing Kurapika he will then 2. Get Tsereidnich to close his eyes (meet condition 2 of his condition [forcefully or otherwise]). So that he can 3. Tell him exactly how he will torture the prince (nullifying the horse nen beast ability with truth and inflicting mental pain#1) and allowing the prince to see the pain that will be inflicted ahead of receiving it (mental pain#2), and then actually inflicting (physical pain) all while the prince can do absolutely nothing about it even when he knows it's coming (the sole strength of his power). Kurapika may consider this ultimate revenge. If the prince is not a spider, Kurapika may even set it up in a way that leverages his other abilities for pain infliction that does not require him to be alive so he can use chain jail anyway, die, but the torture runs off his post-mortem nen automatically. Tragic death that he will impose on himself knowing his revenge will be executed even if he doesn't live to see it. But with the way the story plays out, hopefully he finds inner peace without resorting to such methods and finds purpose larger than revenge.
Funny now that I've got you here so what do you think about the possibility of Gon and Killua fighting Gyro while everyone is on the Dark Continent so it like a double victory because I do believe this voyage as melancholy as Hunter Hunter is will be successful 🤔
In regards to how the parallel future nen beast functions while he in is Zetsu, I figured that this was just the nature of the power. To put it simply, imagine if Razor shoots an aura ball and then he immediately uses Zetsu. Does the ball go away? I don't think so since that ball has it's own aura and is disconnected to Razor. I figured something similar is occurring here. Tsereidnich unconsciously conjured parallel future and it is it's own contained beast that functions and Zetsu is merely a condition for it's power to activate. The guardian beast's nature is that it REQUIRES the aura of it's host to exist. Another example of nen powers occurring without their user is post-mortem nen.
Now that i think about, the best way to defeat his power is to separate him from the ground in a way that even if he see 10 seconds in the future to change it, there's nothing that he could do against a big attack other than trying to tank it. Maybe long range attacks that slow down or disorient him could also be used.

"Superb video, as usual. I just wanted to make a clarification as I'm the type of person who needs to correct inaccuracies. When Gon and Killua faced Hisoka, they were unable to control their Nen, causing their aura to leak and become uncontrolled. Therefore, when one uses Zetsu, it becomes obvious that they are able to use Nen since normal individuals also emit a small amount of aura. I'm happy I'm not the only one who's sees the only technical flaw in Tsereidnich's nen entourage. While in the political/sneaky way of doing things it seems almost impossible to defeat him, I'm really quite interested in seeing how 1st Prince Benjamin's nen beast will interreact with Tsereidnich as the war continues. It really seems that a pure enhancer or someone who could flat out overpower Tsereidnich in strength is going to be the only way to defeat him. This arc is undoubtedly going to be the best HxH arc we've had yet!
Is it possible that his nen beasts transforms his lying Allies into nen beasts that serve him. It would go with the theme that a lot of the princes nen beasts share and would explain how he has a second one if a previous woman was already transformed.
A way to defeat Tserreidnich before his nen developes to become stronger, is to hit him with an AOE attack who'r range is greater than he can move in 10 seconds, this would likely be a huge aura investment to achieve, and he might see th charge up in the parallel future to run as soon as he sees that.
For any of my JoJo fans who are still confused. Tsuridenic's nen ability is basically like the stand King Crimson from part 5. The only difference is, the events in the first timeline aren't erased just countered
and the both beasts compliment each other so smoothly. the first one controlling the Past and collecting the power that make him clearly control the of unlimited future . if Ging doesn't help Kurapika , our golden boy is in big big trouble .
HYYYPOTHETICALLY, If tserriednich was caught by Kurapikas chains forcefully putting him into a state of zetsu. would the ability still activate when he opens his eyes ? Because from what I'm gathering the opening of the eyes and activating said ability requires aura thus breaking out of zetsu, or does it all occur WITHIN Zetsu ? EDIT : I guess if the nen beast isn't in a state of zetsu it self, he would be able to escape and dodge the chains, granted he can see them using en, but even if he couldn't, he could just escape what ever is holding him that he cannot see. brain is melting
As cool as thinking about this ability is I don't think togashi will ever use it that much, we just got into 3 new plot lines and togashi is still technically on hiatus I can see him take him down in way so he doesn't have give himself a headache making fights for him
No way Tsereidnich will be anything other than an amateur in Nen unless he wins the succession war. No matter how cheeky his abilities may be, he's still vulnerable. Plus you can only play with time so much until you run into a paradox. I predict he'll end up a glass cannon.
I think his ability to use nen whilst using zestu is akin to knuckles bankruptcy but at a complex level with the all these restrictions, i think he stores up aura and is able to use this aura that has been stored to use his ability. Unless his able to use external aura? That's my guess
@NewWorldReview ok what will happen if tsereidnich masters "IN" ? theoretically it's ZETSU, kinda... However, both NEN beasts would not disappear (uvogin could use big bang in this state, kurapika's summoned chains are also active in IN only invisible without GYO) Tsereidnich would then have both abilities + NEN protection. and in terms of GYO it would still work to use KO (gon and Killua direct aura into a shovel, Tsereidnich directs aura into the eye of the second NEN beast and so uses GYO and can see NEN even in the future.
Ngl pretty cool editing with the parallel explanation, also I’m sure some have caught it but it seems the summoned nen beast is inspired by one of the love craft elder gods can’t remember his name but the head is identical
This is probably the most interesting nen ability I've seen so far in the series. Usually nen ability - as my understanding - still works within physics/science explanation, but this one is straight up breaking law of physics by "manipulating" time. And for the "using zetsu but still able to use ability", I do have some kind of headcanon, tho since it is a headcanon, you probably will think it as just straight up bs, but I'll continue. The way it works is like using battery instead of using a cable to plug your ability in. Usually if you want to keep your ability active (any kind of ability, not just nen beast), you need to supply the ability with your aura every single second, that's why you need to keep your aura active, once you use zetsu, the aura unable to get supplied into your ability and deactivate, tho usually there's some kind of interval between when you use zetsu and when your ability completely vanished (like Tserri's urn nen beast), but if you use it in battery-like, you will deliver a certain amount of aura into your ability and your ability will consume the aura that you've put into said ability. So for example if you conjure a sword with 1000 aura (remember Knuckle's aura quantification), you need to keep supplying aura so the 1000 conjured aura into sword keep it's form, if you cut it like when using zetsu, the sword will vanished a couple second after you cut it (use zetsu). But in battery-like, you put...lets say 3000 aura into it so even if you use zetsu, the 1000-aura-conjured-sword will consume the remaining 2000 aura within it instead of getting it from you as the user. Again, just a headcanon tho, the idea of the nen beast actually getting aura from a host like Theta is also a possibility, you can share your own thought on it
Someone else commented that conjured objects don't disappear when in zetsu, and how it seems like the nen beasts are consealed with in. Also, to me, it seems like zetsu isn't just a condition to make the ability stronger, but necessary for him to act as a receiver to see the next 10 seconds from his nen-beast (which I hope is more akin to a near-omniscient super-computer predicting the future with virtually perfect accuracy than it is actually messing with time itself because holy sh*t nothing matters in a work of fiction once the author makes time their b*tch--almost every time).
@@WhamBamTySam I think it can be rather weird if a conjured objects doesn't really vanished when the user use zetsu. But, can you copy paste the comment in here? Kind of want to read the entire thing, but I'm rather lazy to search for the comment, haha
Your battery idea is interesting and makes nice weakness for the ability (battery drained from continuously preconizing). Here is my idea, I think he's side stepping the problem. All Nen beast require power and as shown the horse nen beast disappeared when he went into zetsu. However Theta could not see any nen use or the time nen beast. So how is the time nen beast getting power without being seen. He is running a cable a nen to the time nen beast, but the beast and cable cannot be seen. This is because they exist in the Precognition Timeline. We know it exists there because that's how he is viewing from the time nen beast. When he alters the timeline the nen beast ceases to exist the moment the 10 second window to make changes ends. Even if we're both wrong it is going to be interesting see this ability picked apart over this arc.
Uvo is gone I would like four prince go against season hunter like Illumi, hisoka and few troupe member
Nobunaga could take him down in this case
@Laquan Lucas hisoka is tricksy, that might set off miss horse face and Hisoka would be obligated to f around and find out, but if he goes on all out murder mode from the start then yeah, I'd give him 70% odds at least

@@TheBigE9999 four prince Hastu is not ready for combat just yet. Four prince whatever need from melody get to fix the flaw in his ability. To make it tap stronger than you have Hisoka known finding weak point in somone hastu ability in battle.
His ability is oddly reminiscent of Diavolo's time skip ability from jojo's part 5, which caused just as much confusion back then haha
The moment i read about it, i was like "man that's just an easier to use king crimson"
It is the same ability, Epitaph + King Crimson
Well the first 10 seconds are the exact same :P then Togashi added his own spice to the mix and made something cool and horrifying.
When I first read that chapter I was like "Ooooh, so that's how king crimson works"
It just works.
In good HxH fashion, I actually understood this ability pretty well when it was first shown, then became more and more confused with each explanation that Togashi offered, only to eventualy realise my first impression was correct anyway, I think sometimes Togashi is a bit guilty of overexplaining things
Same happened with me
It would make logical sense for Tsereidnich to create an ability with glaring flaws, because he's a relative nen newbie.
Oh dude yeah absolutely. Over explaining is the cornerstone of HxH. They treat us like idiots
Any other arc you could just punch him to dust, but since this arc is run by lies and deception, he is almost unstoppable.
...Tseriednich better has 1+ Ability-Slots still free or he's f-ed. Cause if he doesnt crate an offensive Hatsu, his Attack-Potency is forever human.

@@givaru-tan9623 Hisoka basically Katakuri
Amazing insight!
Are you talking about Tserreidnich or Diavolo lmao
You basically described Diavolo in a nutshell 😆
He's like Diavolo but there are differences, Diavolo deletes everything he doesn't trust, he follows a boring and horrible path just to rule the underground world, presumably just because he loves being in control. Tse however goes around murdering people as recreation, picking fights and even keeping the girl who tried to kill him as her mentor just because he likes her, he wants the path that brings him the most pleasure towards anything he does, doesn't matter the risk, he wants to have a good time being the prince and the king.
So the nen ability he has is probably not his real nen ability.
Why have I never thought of Knov being mentally destroyed not because he was a coward but because he was using zetsu when exposed to evil aura?
I guess there is a whole discussion around this. For example, he was not really exposed to any aura. He just glanced at poufs aura and it broke him
@@hossein7899 I can see why there's a discussion. I would say that he was exposed to pouf's aura, just not pouf's en.
Theta was terrified by Tserri's aura without having to touch it or experience it that's why she thought he had to die asap or the worst will happen and she wasn't in zetsu state so she was able to overcome fear to make that decision
I think it's more about how dark and twisted you know this person can be and the anticipation of what they'll do to you if you're at their mercy... the psychological damage is huge and can paralyze you, especially when you're like Knov in a defenseless state.. it reminds me of Gon when he was basically in zetsu following Hisoka during the hunter exam...
How was he making portals if he was in zetsu?
7:11 This is by far the most plausible theory I've heard. His own Nen beast's purpose is to be his surveillance in his future sight.
I see it working similarly to Doctor Blythe, where Pitou couldn't use En or any other Nen ability until Blythe was dismissed.

absolutely loving the editing on this video. and major probs to togashi for creating an even more complicated version of king crimson. 😭
Of course, so simple!
It's honestly scary how few people actually get this, it kind of hurts seeing people make videos and huge comments about theories when they don't even know how the ability works.

@horn "This means during those 10 seconds Tseriednich is free to do pretty much anything to his opponent without them being able to fightback."
You aren't understanding what I am trying to say.
Well it is not confirmed that he can do it. But that would be super strong
After all of this is over I honestly think the 4th Prince will eventually lose and become a Prisoner to his own ability for the rest of eternity.

@@geovaniraffaelli4508 it's only a liability at the present moment, bc he takes a few seconds to achieve true zetsu, and he cannot see through time and counter if it's not a perfect zetsu state (plus if he's standing still, eyes closed and vulnerable to malicious aura, it's easy to take him down)
that's why he's aiming for getting it down to a blink of an eye
The editing in this one is superb. Excellent explanation, too.
My guess is that the nen beast is 'deactivated" when he's being feed, and when the nen valves close its eyes open and the information is sent. Take it as the beast is asleep when being feed and only awakens and does something when the food is stoped.
Good take 👍
I'd like to believe that the nen beast essentially time travels 10 seconds in the future right before tsereidnich uses zetsu.

Yo if his second ability is to turn people into nen beasts then he’s way more of a problem than I originally thought 😵💫

@@rainiwakura2430 It's still his hatsu though. Hatsu is any application of nen manifests into and affects the world around it directly. Using gyo on your fist is hatsu, despite it also being gyo.
You are right, this isn't his hatsu this is his Nen ability. @@rainiwakura2430
As someone who's only watched the anime: it sounds like a simple bomb would be this guy's worst enemy. Seeing 10 seconds ahead wouldn't save him nor reading lies. Netero used a bomb, and it was super effective.
Yeah, pretty much any brute force power type is kinda this guy’s weakness, especially people who can AOE.
Is it more complicated than something with the properties of both rubber and gum tho?
I think that togashi is exploring the limits of nen in the current arc, and that Gon will discover a new way to fight, not dependent on nen. Koala hints at this, “small things are needed to build the entire universe . . . The size of a thing has nothing to do with its power.” The size of Gon’s nen has nothing to do with his power. He’ll find a way to keep on. He’ll come back like Kaneda, the hero from Akira, who had no supernatural powers whatsoever but who is able to triumph over tetsuo, though he doesn’t necessarily kill him.
Or the story can stop being about Gon because there are other great characters like Killua, Leorio and Kurapika and even the phantom troupe.
Gon will get a gun
00:10, that's me babyyyyyy
I was literally reading these chapters earlier today and then we get a super helpful video explaining this crazy ability what a coincidence! Also those nen beasts give me the creeps.
Very King Crimson, but very different in how they ultimately work! Proves that the ability to control time will almost always be the most terrifying of powers.
This was flawless coverage of the characters at this stage
What if King Crimson erased time when this dude was looking into the future? How would that play out
This is basically king crimson just nerfed
@@Luckfort this is not nerfed King Crimson I think this might actually be stronger
He would see King Crimson's 10 seconds instead of forgetting them, but would not be able to do anything during that period anyway.
I love it. 😆😆
THAT EDITING WAS SO AMAZING OH MY GOD. You perfectly got the layout of Tserriednich's Nen in video itself! Way too clean.
A situation like when Castro had several threads attached to him for the playing card, the prince wouldn't be able to do anything about it
So it's King Crimson except reverse.
In this case, everyone sees the fate predicted by Epitaph but it does not necessarily happen.
Togashi clearly was inspired by King Crimson here.. i think he cant deny that :P
In Jojo we rarely saw King Crimson being used in Diavolos perspective. We only saw parts of its powers until the end (like he only stopped time vs Polnareff and that almost got him killed when Polnareff predicted his Movements), or when he did run around as Doppio only able to use Epitath.
King Crimson was my first thought too :D
@@Nightmster D4C was mine.
Imagine chrollo stealing this ability
Chrollo woudnt be able to out do his nen beasts.
I'm not sure but pretty much I think that Chrollo can only steal nen, so probably he couldn't
Video idea: Is there anything that is NOT possible with Nen? And also what original Nen power would you make if you were in the HXH universe?
An extremely good suggestion! Please do it.
I would conjure a spirit beast that I have to clear a set of restrictions to activate, and then I can ask the beast what the best way to use any ability is. For example If I want to use killua's ability, the beast will give me a set of restrictions and after I clear that I can use the ability. This way I have to clear two sets of conditions but in return I get to use any ability and also I get the most efficient restrictions to use it.
r/HatsuVault
probably something that can abuse the post mortem nen concept to activate and multiply exponentially upon achieving conditions, all whilst remaining alive, or at least a constant cycle of death and rebirth.
@@wanabdulhadi1268 This ☝️
8:20 maybe that's why he needs a Nen beast instead of using it himself. The beast takes his aura and stores it, using it when he activates the ability.
Camilla's ability also needs her to be in a state of zetsu to work, so we have 2 cases
There was a goofy theory floating around that the second beast belonged to Prince Woble. Or for something more sensible, it doesn't belong to Tserreidnich since he can use it in Zetsu. It belongs to some assassin or prince and his only serving him for the time being as a part of some plan.
Mfw the most complicated hxh ability is just a straight up jojo reference
Hopefully we will get next chapter around summer
End game:
1. If the prince is a spider, use Chain Jail on Tsereidnich and force him into a state of Zetsu. Already a win, but knowing Kurapika he will then
2. Get Tsereidnich to close his eyes (meet condition 2 of his condition [forcefully or otherwise]). So that he can
King Crimson but more consistent and well explained lol
When is King Crimson inconsistent?

"Superb video, as usual. I just wanted to make a clarification as I'm the type of person who needs to correct inaccuracies. When Gon and Killua faced Hisoka, they were unable to control their Nen, causing their aura to leak and become uncontrolled. Therefore, when one uses Zetsu, it becomes obvious that they are able to use Nen since normal individuals also emit a small amount of aura. Hence, using Zetsu actually puts one in a more vulnerable position than a regular human would be" < formulated by CHAT GPT

Hunter x Hunter set the bar so high……
Too high
I'm happy I'm not the only one who's sees the only technical flaw in Tsereidnich's nen entourage. While in the political/sneaky way of doing things it seems almost impossible to defeat him, I'm really quite interested in seeing how 1st Prince Benjamin's nen beast will interreact with Tsereidnich as the war continues. It really seems that a pure enhancer or someone who could flat out overpower Tsereidnich in strength is going to be the only way to defeat him. This arc is undoubtedly going to be the best HxH arc we've had yet!
Benjamin is a specialist.
The editing at 4:48 onward is fucking superb, great job man.
Too bad, I've already seen this video through my Zetsu
🤣🤣
and the both beasts compliment each other so smoothly. the first one controlling the Past and collecting the power that make him clearly control the of unlimited future . if Ging doesn't help Kurapika , our golden boy is in big big trouble .
I think his Nen ability works because his new Nen Beast stores some of his aura for use when he's in Zetsu.
It is 6am 😳
best time to watch a HxH video
As cool as thinking about this ability is I don't think togashi will ever use it that much, we just got into 3 new plot lines and togashi is still technically on hiatus I can see him take him down in way so he doesn't have give himself a headache making fights for him
No way Tsereidnich will be anything other than an amateur in Nen unless he wins the succession war. No matter how cheeky his abilities may be, he's still vulnerable. Plus you can only play with time so much until you run into a paradox. I predict he'll end up a glass cannon.
I love how you're covering this now since I just read this part. Great Stuff dude in a room.
most people dont even have nen, zetsu isnt that risky
Ppl with nen literally die from the aura from ppl with nen not a good comparison
Nice video ! Parrallele Futur is the example that Tsereidnich will NEVER respect the rules of the hunter world. RIP kurapika
I think his ability to use nen whilst using zestu is akin to knuckles bankruptcy but at a complex level with the all these restrictions, i think he stores up aura and is able to use this aura that has been stored to use his ability. Unless his able to use external aura? That's my guess
im almost done with chimera ant arc and i cant wait to read these chapters !! i dont care being spoil ! a liam spoil is a good spoil
@NewWorldReview
ok what will happen if tsereidnich masters "IN" ? theoretically it's ZETSU, kinda...
4th prince tserriednich: another person with complicated powers that franklin can perfect counter
