I have a weird relation with the creator of HxH, on one hand I like his work but on the other hand I kind of hate him for not being able to just hire an illustrator to keep his work going. I know it's his passion project and he wants to do it himself but his health does not agree with him and the franchise being as popular as it is kinda brings a responssabilities to the fan to deliver the work. Nothing stops him to help with the illustrations when he's healthy enough to do it but if he's not, he should just drop the work unto someone else. The dude suffers from chronic back pain, not cancer ffs.
I agree, it's still his project if he just supervises it. Isn't the joy of manga being able to share a story to begin with? It needs to be consistently published for people to stay engaged.
I think he might be one of those people who gets all their ideas while they are in their creative mode while drawing so just writing on a document will result in less creative work
An artist NEVER has responsibility or obligation whatsoever to the viewer. Even when you disagree, He's already paid his dues and created one goated manga/anime in the for of Ghost Fighter and has life to live. Allow him.

Dark continent is just like Gourmet world in Toriko. It looks deadly in the beginning arc but once main characters developed their new skills, It will become a cake walk.
One thing I never understood was how survivors of those expeditions brought a calamity back with them. With each having a body count spanning hundreds how do you contain and transport something like that? I'm confused.
It’s nuts How we follow Gon as the main character, fall in love with him, then he’s just essentially killed off, but the series continues, there must be plans for him returning
"In a city built like a labyrinth, or a maze..." VERY common misattribution: A maze had multiple paths with dead ends, but typically only one exit path. A labyrinth is one single long, winding path to the center and out. Basically a maze you have to solve. A labyrinth you have to deal with.
Is Brion the human and the orb, or is it just an orb that attaches to a human head? These images could all be red herrings, multiple parts, or just one part of the whole. Ai could be one fly in the black swarm Hellbell could be the spiral worm thing on the snake that emerges from the fruit-thing Pap could even be the child-like things.
I would like to see the ocean outside the dark continent, as well as the other continents on the planet. But still though it's crazy how the countries in lake mobius is just a collection of huge continents; inside an enormous lake, which is in the center of a many times more enormous continent; which dwarf the lake at it's center. I wanna see the other continents on the surface of the planet, or is it just the Dark continent with the rest of the planet covered in water.
Great video, but wanted to mention two points. One, wasn't Hellbell a two-tailed snake rather than two-headed? But I'm glad you got it's venom's effect right, plenty of people confused it as just a deadly venom. Two, this is more of speculation, but I do wonder if that picture is just Brion, or Brion is taking over someone's body/eating it's head. If I'm wrong, someone feel free to correct me. I was slighty suprised I didn't see anyone mention this before me.
Hear me out... The known world is North/South America, Eurasia, Africa, Australia. The oceans are one big salty lake and Antartica is the Dark Continent which is WHY 56 countries have all signed the Antartic Treaty which forbids anyone from exploring or even visiting it without special permission. Is it to protect the environment like they claim... or is it to protect us...
1.Biron pyramids head brother 2.Ghosts 3.Genjutsu beasts that suck the life out of you 4. The worst possible snakes in existence 5. Zombie virus 6. Chimera ants 7. Blood thirsty nen users Nah I’m good bro, this is probably the worst island in manga history
I have a question, do Nen rules work as an emotional person base or a greater power? For example: Kuripikas chains can only be used on Phamtom Troupe members or he dies, what would happen if he used the chains on someone who said and he thought they were Phamtom Troupe members? Would he die or would it work Does the Nen rule apply to what the User thinks or what it reality?
his nen works on any and all he wants its only that one chain of the 5 that he uses that can only be used on phantom troupe. i fairly sure its a death sentence if he uses that one chain on non member cause its that vow that gives that chain its strenght but that vow doesnt affect the other 4.
It’s crazy how strong the Zoldycks and Freecs families are. I mean the Freecs literally have the 3 strongest people in the verse 😂. I’m counting adult gon brw
is it ever explained why they are called magical beasts? it always confused me since the power system is aura and nen but nothing else that really references magic?
They’re just beasts that use nen naturally. There’s nothing magical about them. They likely got the name because most people don’t know about nen. Someone without the knowledge of nen coming across one of these beasts would probably see them as magical.
The real term should be "Mystical" beasts as they transcend natural boundaries and are more supernatural. Every beast and creature on the dark continent uses nen aswell.
Makes me think of Made in Abyss: going g further into the hellscape is fine, just trying to go back is when you start to truly suffer. I love how much of a cosmic horror this whole premise is!
I'm incredibly interest in that Northern, circle-within-a-circle piece of land with on the HxH map, which I guess is probably not big enough to be a continent, but sadly I doubt we'll ever get the story expanding on that. I imagine most people care very little on that, or never even thought of it, but I don't know it just stuck out to me. Which brings up a good point, I guess since the known world isn't a globe, the North and South aren't necessarily cold, and the middle might not be hot. Hm, you got me thinking.
the circle within a circle island is probably some kind of Atlantis nod as that's essentially Platos ancient description of it (it might even be three rings now that I think about it)
Wait, so Kurapika and Leorio are the mc's now? We aren't going to see much, if any Gon and Kilua? I was excited to get more Hunter x Hunter until I heard that. Don't get me wrong, Kurapika is , eh, ok as a character. But I wouldn't want to follow an ENTIRE series arc based on him as the MC. And I think Leorio makes a good side character for comedy relief, but not as a semi-mc lead role. If it was Killua, or Gon, or Gon's father, Netero's son, etc as the MC, sure, would be willing to read/watch if it got an anime adaptation.
Luckily most people don’t share your opinion. If you’ve finished watching the entire anime, switch over to the manga and catch up to the story. Doing this may change your opinion! Hopefully you give it a shot so you can enjoy the return with the rest of us! 💪
Ging said his aura is fine, but because the wish was to 'turn Gon back to normal" he was reset to pre-nen awakening. Gon would have to start over again.
it's gon, and it would undermine the entire power system if he got it back. nen is great because everything comes at a cost, if gon were to get it back after making a pact like he did. everything would meaningless from then on. plus gon and killua had their time in the sun. it's time for the other 2 to get their turn.
Lol, is Killua really off doing Assassin stuff elsewhere? For awhile I thought he broke the habit to instead care for his sister, although... assassinations pay the bills, I suppose.
Yeah idk why he said that about Killua. Killua is done as an assassin. He doesn't even need money. Remember, a hunter license provides a massive line of credit. Worst case he could just fight professionally for money somewhere.
@@Stryker1297 Yeah, made me double take for a moment. It contradicts all we know of Killua up till we last saw him. Could he be an Assassin again one day? Maybe, but it would be on his own terms, and not in the way his family expected for him.
Killua isn't off doing any assassin work at all. He's traveling with his sister that's it... I have no idea where he's getting some of these facts from.
@@MegaDman16 NCHammer does tend to take liberties with the lore, from what I understand. His information is informative, but not absolute canon compliance. For example, his hatred of Sasuke and seeing him as the worst character is incredibly subjective, as there are just as bad characters. He has this habit of narrowing his view on some things and jumping through hoops to reach his desired end point, and makes his points sometimes contrived. Like in a recent video, he scoffed at Sasuke being as powerful as Naruto. And he's right, if being powerful just meant quantity of powers or raw power. Skill is a definition point of combat ability, as is tactical ability. His argument only becomes relevant if you trim away other relevant points to highlight those that are needed for his argument. Like a scientist altering an experiment continuously to reach their theory, rather than testing their theory against practical application like an experiment is supposed to be. The only logical deduction I reach is this: Killua's most defining feature is as an assassin, so he must be doing something assassin-like in his past time, otherwise it breaks the premises of his character. Meanwhile, I look back at all the times that Killua has fought and think that this point likely isn't true at all, because Killua hasn't relied on his Assassin training for all his interactions or fights. Even that of the training which he uses passively, became a part of him and not part of being an assassin.

i shouldnt have watched this video i got myself so excited to see this and after i read it ill only want more and more i wish there was a way he could just instantly finish the whole series so i can read it all
We can only hope there is a understudy for Togashi like Kentaro had......
Ai was already confirmed to be Nanika in volume 34-35 of the manga. Pap honestly the one I'm curious.
Literally wasn't "confirmed" whatsoever lol.
I honestly believe if Hunter Hunter never went on hiatus it would be up there with Berserk, Kingdom and Goodnight Punpun as one best mangas of all time
Might be if it is ver finsihed😊
Hunter much more canon than those niches. It would've been there up with the best shonens
@@BlackCatTheOtakuW
@@BlackCatTheOtakuHxH is crap. Wont ever beat even other shounen let alone Berserk.
@@RYANARRADIyou are both id1ots.

you didn't mention that togashi literally confirms in one of the volume extras that nanika is from the dark continent
Allow him.
@@fightme4136 Lol, throating all the way to the balls I see. Stfu dude.
HunterxHunter is my favorite anime/manga and I love seeing videos about it this was the perfect amount of informative for someone jumping into the manga from the anime where the show leaves off
Yu Yu Hakusho!!!! Only ogs talk about it and I'd love to hear your take or options on it
Dark continent is just like Gourmet world in Toriko.
It looks deadly in the beginning arc but once main characters developed their new skills, It will become a cake walk.
Not gonna lie I been waiting for you to make this video for a few weeks now 💪🏼
Can you tell me where do you watch it? I can't watch the last 48 episodes because they aren't available where I watch.
The whole HxH world is estimated to be bigger than the sun, with the known world being bigger than the earth.
One thing I never understood was how survivors of those expeditions brought a calamity back with them. With each having a body count spanning hundreds how do you contain and transport something like that? I'm confused.
The same way rats did, you didn't know they were there.
With how powerful these calamities are, theres probably a way for them to conceal themselves.
I can't remember properly but i read its the gatekeepers who pick and give the calamity
@@iiTzHaroon ooh. Okay. That bit eluded me for a while. Thanks.
@@iiTzHaroon Who are the gatekeepers?
Ah yes, can't wait for Togashi to return for another 6 chapter and hiatus until further notice
So excited that Hunter x Hunter is coming back
That's what I'm saying
Great vid! Love that shirt, where did you get it from?
It’s nuts How we follow Gon as the main character, fall in love with him, then he’s just essentially killed off, but the series continues, there must be plans for him returning
Some writers are evil
@@BlackCatTheOtakuthat’s baseless and makes zero sense
Gon is a terrible character lol. Actually they all are save for Kurapika and Leorio.
@@Bronjames67 I hope gon doesnt return lol, his journey is done, which is why we moved on to kurapika
Ai could be one fly in the black swarm
Hellbell could be the spiral worm thing on the snake that emerges from the fruit-thing
Pap could even be the child-like things.
Just found this channel and the other main channel, and I LOVE your content. Very well informed, and delivery of information is entertaining.
I have a blurry memory of 1999 HxH which surprises me to remember when I see newer events from the Anime and Manga
You are correct on number 1. HellBell is a 2-tailed snake.
A cannibal would LOVE to have the zobe disease
Hear me out... The known world is North/South America, Eurasia, Africa, Australia. The oceans are one big salty lake and Antartica is the Dark Continent which is WHY 56 countries have all signed the Antartic Treaty which forbids anyone from exploring or even visiting it without special permission. Is it to protect the environment like they claim... or is it to protect us...
I think you mixed up real life and stuff
*Drink every time he says "The Dark Continent"*
Word… if I wasn’t excited enough before now I’m super hyped I love ur Naruto content 100% but this page is gonna bring u to another level
Holy cow I only just realised that the calamity Brion is a horror movie refferance.
13:22 this part was the most shocking for some reason why doesnt gon have nen anymore
3:49 notice that the archipelago of small islands is actually the real world map. Only every continent is out of place.
pretty cool
We love hxh content we’re so dry of it that it doesn’t matter who posts it
Wasnt Ging's grandad or something in the dark continent writing an explorer book? And with stuff like nitrorice around he could still be alive.

Holy Shit, the lore of HxH is way more than i expected
1.Biron pyramids head brother
2.Ghosts
3.Genjutsu beasts that suck the life out of you
4. The worst possible snakes in existence
5. Zombie virus
6. Chimera ants
7. Blood thirsty nen users
Nah I’m good bro, this is probably the worst island in manga history
Extremely Impressive show today Nick!
I have a question, do Nen rules work as an emotional person base or a greater power? For example: Kuripikas chains can only be used on Phamtom Troupe members or he dies, what would happen if he used the chains on someone who said and he thought they were Phamtom Troupe members? Would he die or would it work
Does the Nen rule apply to what the User thinks or what it reality?
I actually still haven't truly understood self imposed nen restrictions as well 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️😁😁
I don't know just wanna see the dark content
his nen works on any and all he wants its only that one chain of the 5 that he uses that can only be used on phantom troupe. i fairly sure its a death sentence if he uses that one chain on non member cause its that vow that gives that chain its strenght but that vow doesnt affect the other 4.
Nen is complicated but there are equations you can Google that make it easier to understand.
@@TheAgent0060 Hop on clash? or smash
Dangerous things LMAO holy shit. That third one caught me off guard
Gon is going to get his nen back when he visits the dark continent somehow
Somehow?what about someone 😳
I think Alluka (Nanika) already made that happen. It was with the wish from Killua. So Gon is back to how he was before he knew anything about nen.
Bruh that immortality disease sounds awesome.
Love the content. Keep up the good work
Epic new channel feels
I didn't think it was confirmed that gon lost his nen, since nanika completely undid it, and returned him to full? But i probably missed it
Meanwhile, all the Princes bath in each other's blood, but ya know, DARK CONTINENT!
But actually, was a great vid
It’s crazy how strong the Zoldycks and Freecs families are. I mean the Freecs literally have the 3 strongest people in the verse 😂. I’m counting adult gon brw
One Piece irl is the moon Europa, while the world of Hunter x Hunter is the giant red-spot hurricane on Jupiter's surface.
@The Weeb Commander
“What if” video idea.
How would you write Gon and Killua back into the Anime/Manga?
P.S. could Gon get his Nen back ?
He got his dad so I guess anything possible for him
Two Words, Stealth Dolphin 🐬
What about the emoji?
is it ever explained why they are called magical beasts? it always confused me since the power system is aura and nen but nothing else that really references magic?
They’re just beasts that use nen naturally. There’s nothing magical about them. They likely got the name because most people don’t know about nen. Someone without the knowledge of nen coming across one of these beasts would probably see them as magical.
The real term should be "Mystical" beasts as they transcend natural boundaries and are more supernatural. Every beast and creature on the dark continent uses nen aswell.
Makes me think of Made in Abyss: going g further into the hellscape is fine, just trying to go back is when you start to truly suffer.
I love how much of a cosmic horror this whole premise is!
Imagine a Sadistic Prince Tseridnich with Zobe disease... He would destroy everyone in the verse.
Can you do a jujutsu power ranking
great video man i love this stuff
Welcome to flat earth everyone!
Enjoy exploring antartica without its ice!
Nice to see the Gang of 4 is coming back again.
Is it confirmed that Gon had no Nen anymore?
I thought Nanika didn't have any limitation while granting wishes
yeah gon has no nen at this point in the story im sure he will get it back somehow but for now he doesnt
Ging said his aura is fine, but because the wish was to 'turn Gon back to normal" he was reset to pre-nen awakening. Gon would have to start over again.
@@MegaDman16 it wouldn’t be hard for him to relearn, he understands the recipes to strengthening his nen, he’d easily build it up in no time.
@@mattsmileyface7470 it’d be super dope if got in the specialty category somehow with a cool ass nen ability
it's gon, and it would undermine the entire power system if he got it back. nen is great because everything comes at a cost, if gon were to get it back after making a pact like he did. everything would meaningless from then on. plus gon and killua had their time in the sun. it's time for the other 2 to get their turn.
Cool video, but don't let you distract you from the fact that Mr. Krabs joined the axis powers
yay love hHxH lol
What about Greasy Grove?
I can't believe they got Let Me Solo Her in the Anime. Truly the anime of all animes right now.
