We chose the CR-V but I've wondered if we should have gone with the RAV4! Both look great and are reliable cars. We love our CR-V for all the reasons described in this video!
They’re just so comparable generally that you have to nit pick, which is where it gets weird. The Honda has a CVT and a turbo direct injection engine. Everything about that sends out alarm bells of reliability. On the flip side, the Toyota 2.5 dual injection, naturally aspirated engine and an in-house auto transmission seems reliable as a rock. However... Honda’s in-house CVT transmission has been the sole reliability stand-out from the rest and aside from the sporadic oil dilution complaints on the engine, it has also been strong. That’s in contrast to the Toyota, which has been having major issues with the transmission and engine, including a current mess with their 12v battery parasitic drain. That, coupled with Toyota’s higher pricing, loud engine and highway road noise penetrating into the cabin has forced my wife to pick the CR-V over the Rav4. On the hybrid front, however, she has chosen the Rav4 over the CR-V because it is much quieter on the highway, more powerful in the city and has a spare tire (the CR-V hybrid does not).
I love my 2019 RAV4 XLE Premium, I haven’t had any problems, I gets up and go, it’s sporty and stylish and very great on Gas. Nothing is outdated with the reading of the radio and you can use your Android features, I actually perfect it that over Apple Play. It works just the same too me. They didn’t talk about any features that the RAV4 has, Toyota connect nor did they let you know how much better the reverse cameras are and blind side are compared, this wasn’t a good review, I have seen much, much better. and by the way I have a Honda also and love it as well. To reply about my 8 inch screen and Tech all lies it’s great haven’t had problems. Talk about what you know.

@@ryuukin178 it looks better all-round than the RAV 4. The RAV has more cutting edge on the front and back exterior but the CRV all-round looks better.
@valhallahammerofcandycookiesandchips it's not subjective. The majority says that and the polls have spoken. I agree the RAV exterior looks modern or better, hands down.
RAV4 is better seller, more rugged that’s more suitable for active outdoor activities yet still good for daily transportation. Toyota is more reliable and cost of maintenance and repair is lower overall. I like Toyota Service Department much more than Honda’s. When it comes to dealer service department, Toyota is at another level above.
