Hell yeah I have plenty of gillys The action on the free rig for this one looks real good When I do free rig I like going to deep water and using a 3/4oz weight. The weight falls way faster than the bait and the action is really nice.
Thats a powershot not a free rig. The weight is supposed to move freely up and down your line. You have a dropshot weight tied off. Not a free rig. Cool footage though
A power shot would have the lure tied on , whereas the free rig has the lure freely on the line with the hook able to slide up and down, not tied to the line
Nvr thought ab a tube. Good stuff dude!
It's one of those baits that a lot of people forget about ... they are still a fish catcher
Great footage!
Thanks for the support

You should try the Trokar TK190 tube hook they have totally changed my tube fishing!
Will have to give it a try
I’ve never seen a chigger craw with those long appendages? Where did you get that?
It's a crazy legs chigger craw , they are on TW
@@bass_insights awesome, thanks!
How heavy of the weight did you use in this video brother?
3/8 oz ... I use a 1/4 also .
Called free lining, has been done in salt water fishing long before you guys tried to rename it
All I know is that it works 🤷🏼♂️
On em👀
always on em
Do you always throw a red hook bud?
9 out of 10 times I do , especially on soft plastics
#OnEm
Every day
Does free rig get stuck in heavy weed brother?
@@iamalemontree no it's pretty weedless
@@bass_insights thanks brother! In my area we have a lot of moss weed, even a small texas rig weight dig into them 😂
@@iamalemontree use as light of weight as possible ... it will help

Weight is free , just in shallow water so you don't get a ton of separation. Thanks for the support

@@ethanvoelker2158 no silly, the weight moves freely on a free rig and your lure on a hook that is tied to the line
@@ethanvoelker2158 this is what’s wrong with the RUclips fishing community. Too much bad information
