Why did the prosecutor let the guy out on $1000 bail? When he had just tried to run over the mother of his children with a car? And then he drives that car thru a crowd?
Because he's a liberal prosecutor that, like many liberal prosecutors, has decided that it doesn't matter about what crimes are committed, there's just too many minorities in prison. And so he needs to be soft on crime and reduce bail for the sake of 'equity' or some such bullshit.
