Can you do a video on what happens to companies that commit fraud in a worker compensation case, we always here what happens to us but it seems like it’s a slap on the wrist if companies do it, please do a video on when companies do this like tampering with evidence falsifying documentation and what ever else they do. Thanks

I hope Rex can shed some light on this, every time I look this topic up it’s always about us committing fraud but companies and owners do it all the time, altering videos of your injury to have your claim denied it’s incredible how much power they have to do this and you would never know because you don’t have immediate access to the evidence.

Sure they can, but if your conduct is in accordance with what your reported capabilities, then you are ok.
If your doctor says you should take a walk and you reported to the IME that you can walk up to 5 blocks, then a short walk is ok. If you run a half marathon, you might have a problem.

My adjuster has asked me to submit a settlement request to them. I’m conflicted on if I should obtain an attorney to handle it or go at it myself. Suggestions?

Surveillance can come in many forms but usually they take video recordings of your activities.

When your case is over and you receive settlement can they continue to investigate after?

No , what reason would they have to continue to investigate you if the case is over ?
