This world is so gross… just be fair. Quit trying to set traps to make people look like they are committing fraud, when they are just doing their best to continue living their lives and functioning, while trying to get better. So gross.
Hate you break it to you Pollyanna, but not everyone is honest. You're actually the one spreading misinformation by assuming that investigators are somehow setting traps. Their main goal is to make sure a person is accurately representing their injury. The idea that they're "setting a trap" is silly and disingenuous at best. Worker's Comp fraud cost thousands of hard working Americans (a lot of them small business owners) millions of dollars in extra unnecessary expenses which sometimes forces them to go out of business because they can no longer afford their premiums. They have a right to know that someone is not faking or exaggerating an injury. Or in some cases, if work comp is paying you benefits for being unable to work, they want to make sure that you're not secretly working on the side. Or if you tell your doctor that you can't walk more than 5 feet, they want to make sure you're not out running 5 miles a day. If you're honestly injured and just living your life as best as you can, you don't have anything to worry about. And most run of the mill injuries don't trigger surveillance. There's typically some kind of red flag that prompts surveillance and triggers the employer to make sure that there is no fraud going on. There's nothing gross about it. Your ignorant entitled attitude is gross.

This is an unfortunate complaint that we hear. The insurance carrier has certain timeframes to act and reply to various requests for treatment. Unless their actions are outside the bounds of the law, there isn’t much to do. Speak to your lawyer about the carrier’s conduct and get a good explanation.
Yes! I’m watching this video bc I noticed I was being followed yesterday. I have ptsd besides my injury, so that was stressful! This has been my experience, too. If they would have authorized 2 things in the beginning that took them 7 months, I would hopefully be healing faster. They don’t care about the mental anguish this causes and how it totally changes your life. Best of luck to you!
The company insurance wanted to settle with me through my attorney, which we accepted. Later, the insurance said that they wanted to deduct a certain amount for CMS. After deducting my attorneys fees, and then the CMS it was approved, but now the judge is not signing for approving the judgment. This is been going on for a year and a half.

If I have two work notes from different doctors (ankle surgery and shoulder treatment) and both doctors give me different work notes, one doctor keeps me off work and the other doctor sends me to work with restrictions, which one i have to take to go the work ?

I have a question. I’m in California. I have multiple strains and two hernia disc in my cervical spine. My epicondylitis has been manageable. It’s been two years, but my neck is very up-and-down with the pain to become MMI. Do they still settle out?
It’s not personal to me, but I have PTSD from being stalked and my nervous system is still a bit on guard, like there’s danger. I don’t care what they find. I can’t and don’t do what I can’t! lol
I would at least prefer a female investigator, vs a man investigator following me around. Being a female with a past history of stalkers, sa, dv, having random men following me around would make feel unsafe and trigger my mental health issues.
You are able to do anything that you’re capable of as long as you’re upfront and honest with all of the doctors as well as the judge. If your doctor says you’re not capable of lifting, and they have you on video, throwing out the trash or shoveling snow, that would be contrary to the representations that you’ve made to the doctor. But if you are upfront with the doctors and they have cleared you to perform those activities, then you should be fine.

I don't necessarily disagree. That is why its best to get through the system and your injuries as fast as possible and move on with your life.

Sick, gross dishonest world remember insurance companies are the spawn of nasty scorpions of the zodiac. Walmart tyrants. Spawn of sam waltons kids.
insurances should pay the injured workers compensation rather then looking for reasons to deny their rights be fair
@@realliveboss5381 most cases occurred in workplaces and insurances denied it
What about people using the system! That comes from taxpayers pockets.Am I wrong

Wouldn’t the insurance companies giving your location, date, and time for medical appointments be a HIPAA violation?
HIPPA doesn't apply to worker's comp., at least here in my state.
Although I agree, unfortunately it is not a violation of the law
