I have the Shield Portable. It still works great to this day! This was such excellent, high quality hardware that was way ahead of its time. It really wasn’t surpassed until the Moqi i7s was released a year or so ago. The only real deficiency (from about a year after it’s release on) was that it ran on such an old version of Android. You have to hunt around for old versions of some emulators for them to work properly. I really have zero other complaints about the system: the LCD screen though not OLED was bright and had good contrast, the controls are STILL better than any handheld ever made, the speakers boomed out crystal clear audio, it had HDMI output, introduced PC game streaming on a portable system, and even had impressive battery life. Definitely one of the few really expensive devices I’ve ever purchased that I have never regretted.
I’m 2024 I just get one but when I try to add my Google account, I can’t click on “accept “ when is requesting…. I don’t know if is because is running android 5 and now is obsolete
Man I loved mine. Spent hours playing dead trigger and the expendables of this. Sad that it died out of the blue after 3 years of use. It was stuck in the boot screen and i had to drain the battery out and recharge it and hope it worked fine. Until one day , it didn't start properly. Just stuck at the Nvidia logo
I would love to see 2022 model of this be so sweet 16GB Ram 128GB of storage. I have still have Nvidia Shield K1 Tablet love it.

Have you had to replace the batteries? Mine are struggling to hold a charge and was wondering if you had to change yours?
Mine has a battery life of roughly the same as an Occulus Go (about 3 hours) of constant use.
