I just got a Shield and the first thing I have to say is that its weight is very well balanced and distributed. It doesn't feel top-heavy, like my Moga + smartphone always feels. The hinge is super strong, so even tapping on the onscreen keyboard doesn't make it push back unintentionally. There's something to be said about dedicated portable gaming devices, and I think Nvidia has knocked one out of the park with the Shield!! I also have a 3DS, 3DS XL, and Vita, and the Shield controller feels the best of them all. Anyone know if Microsoft OEMs the gamepad to Nvidia? It feels just like the 360 controller?

It was barely hot on the back but the fan was shooting out air like a mini gun but very impressed. It played games with all ultra high settings

I don't know if you can say that Shield has the "most" powerful gpu in the handheld gaming market since nobody really knows how powerful the Vita's SGX543MP4+ really is. Both the Vita's cpu & gpu are heavily and I mean HEAVILY modified from the stock version of ARM9 and SGX5. I am inclined to believe that if one could run a benchmark program on Vita, Vita would win. You wont see anything on Shield that comes close to destroying the Vita. The choice of going Android was the worst decision ever.
First of all, I wish reviewers would update the price, its $200. Second, Im going to get a shield, and I guarantee im going to use it a lot more than my 3ds.
I highly suggest a vita or a 3ds because you'll find better quality games, there is nothing like uncharted or fire emblem awakening on android and mobile developers won't spend that kind of budget or put that much time in a mobile game, only get the shield if you plan on playing a lot of mmo's, dungeon crawlers, mmorpg's and racing games since android is good at that
I reeeeealy wish I had a phone with 4.3 inches, tegra 4 and about 20mm thick. It would have a big ass battery and it would be awesome. Nowdays it's nice that flagships are 8mm thick (except for this lol), but they run out of battery in 7 hours.
I like how it's updating and you can scroll and do stuff. For some reason my tf 300 freezes and it's useless while updating, I think mine just sucks or something.
I bet android is going to have some really good looking games in the next two years since this is a very powerful chip and Tegra 5 is supposed to be better than a ps3

They should have made it so that the screen could turn 180 degrees and fold down into the body of the device.

It's HDMI out only. 36gb sd card support.
