How much pumping does the evacuator require to get all the oil out? I use a small battery operated pump to suck the oil out but it takes a while.
I would suggest starting the car before putting the cover back on just as a check for any leaks.

Interesting to see people buying "Mercedes"oil and filters. Mercedes doesn't make oil nor filters. Any oil that complies with MB 229.5 spec will work, and for filters OE Mann. You shouldn't be recommending that cheapo filter in your Amazon link

Why not? A nice way to void the warranty is to give Mercedes an excuse by not using their approved products. Of course they don’t make these products. They don’t make most of the products they sell.
