This guy is so hilarious and simple his explanations are so easy to grasp.
The hook on the handle is in case you need to tie the hatch down when you have a long item in the vehicle inhibiting the closure of the doorway. It's why it's described as "temporary tie down" in the owners manual.
It's a benz...not meant for heavy duty like ropes😂😂😂
Exactly my thoughts. We use it when we put bikes in the trunk, and trunk won’t close
while accessing your spare you will notice a long ribbon and hook and guess where you stick that hook to keep the floor hatch open while grabbing your spare and tools? you got it.
Thank you. I didn't know that. I thought its only purpose was to hold-up the lid in the trunk floor. I confess, after we bought our car I left the Owner's Manual out in plain sight, and for the past three years it's been collecting dust. Maybe now I'll read it after shaming myself in public.
It’s so easy to learn from this man, like his way of explaining things
The hook on the handle is more for your dry cleaning. If you're walking up to the car you can hit the button open it and then hang your dry cleaning while you're moving stuff inside the car or setting things down if your hands are full that way you can put it on one of the interior hook handles on the back seats.
You are correct
I have owned my first ever Mercedes for a year and a half now and knew about 4 of the 'don'ts, but you answered 3 things I couldn't figure out (THANK YOU!) and the rest was news to me! Awesome...!
#9 For anyone confused by the explanation, basically Mercedes are designed not to roll like other cars. It's most noticeable when leaving a stop sign that's on a down hill. In most cars you can just let off the brake and the car will roll away on its own. In a Mercedes you have to have pressure on the accelerator pedal for the car to roll normally.
Rich people shouldn't have to hold brake
Everyone with a Mercedes is not rich... but i'm working on it!

I honestly didn't think about the air tight cabin and keeping the air on, makes tons of sense now cuz it explains those headaches which I thought were hangovers 😅
😂
Great video! Very entertaining and extremely useful. I got more out of this than the dealer provided 4 months ago when I picked up the GLE 350 new! Thanks, MBZ Master.
I’m picking up my first Mercedes tomorrow and I am so excited. Your video was very helpful.😊
Congratulations. I want to suggest that if "Mercedes-Benz" is offering extended coverage (warrantee) for your car, consider buying that now, if you haven't already. The reason is the cost for extended coverage will be less money during the time when you first buy a car (within a month or so) because it's considered a good road worthy car by the selling dealership. But if you wait too long the cost for coverage goes up and up. The reason is because there are people that buy the coverage late because they damaged the car, and they don't want to pay a big repair bill, and the coverage is less than the bill.
The info about the gas pedal sensing answered a question for me! Once in a great while, while turning onto a street, it has seemed like my car almost stalled! Now I know that I am causing it and will work on not lifting my foot! Thank you!
Yes, it takes a few tries to get used to it. It's called defensive driving.
This was awesome!!!! Thank you for the non boring video. Your great !
OMG- Thank You so much for doing this video with these tips. I have owned MB for several years; yet, I didn’t even know about these features.
Sometimes I don’t like the AC and I turn off but that is why I got headache. Well since today I won’t turn off my air conditioner anymore and thank you so much for explaining why. 😊
You are terrific: informative and even entertaining without being annoying, as some folks are as they attempt humor. Good job.
New to the MB family and we love our 2020 E350 sport coup. Thanks for the great vids.
Love the video well done. I own a GLE for 2 months and I only knew the booklet for Fuse as is easy to spot on my car since is under the passenger seat on the back.
#9 new MB owner, I just bought one for my Wife (she drives more than I do, and I wanted her to be safe).
I thought it was the CVT, her new Mercedes is also our first car with a CVT. Thanks for the information!
Thank you for sharing the tips. The acceleration pedal was very helpful.
same here
Very entertaining and informative video. Only knew about half of these, and that REST feature is the best one I just learned about. How embarrassing that we never realised we had that option. Thanks :-)
I didn't know any of them. Your videos are informative and funny. Thank you!
You're doing an amazing job man! Thank you! You have my full respect and appreciation!

That head light tip was awesome! Own my car for 18 months!
Great video and very informative! Thank you for what you do,
Thanks for this great and informative video! And for making me laugh too. So I knew about the coat hook but I didn’t know about any of the other stuff! So thank you very much.

Didn't know any of these!! Thanks for sharing!!
Excellent information, explains everything clearly
The driver who downshifted by accident made, "The Wilhelm scream!!!" It has been used in movies and videos since 1953!!! A character in a western movie named Wilhelm, (Played by Sheb Wolly, "Flying Purple People Eaters," fame), got hit by an Indian's arrow and he makes that scream as he falls from his horse!!! The scream is free domain, and it is titled; "Man being eaten by Alligator."
My first visit to your channel. I have already subscribed. I learned more from you in 10 min than dozens of other video makers. Thank you. Also, it helps that I’m Eastern European because I’m laughing at all the nuanced jokes. Bravo. Well done. Keep up the good work.
Welcome aboard!
This is awesome, I was about to think my new gls had some serious issues. Great video
Great production, lots of smiles. I only knew of three items shown. Thanks
Great videos. Thank you. Learned so much.
you rock , your videos saved me a lot of money. thanks . i should have gotten the tire protection plan. I replaced 2 run flat tire. I love the hey mercedes feature I don't have take my hands off of the steering wheel. I purchased the baby benz gla 250 4matic.
amazing video, learned a ton as a new glc 43 owner thanks!
Thank you so much for that pertinent information!!!!!
Very informative video. Thank you so much mann…. 👍👍
Excellent videos! The best! Thank you.
Genius!!! So glad I found your channel and thanks for sharing. Mercedes dealers should recommend your channel to their their customers, because they don't educate new Mercedes owners very well. Of course they also should compensate you for doing their job too. Good luck!! Lol. Thanks again for sharing.
Another reason for leaving the AC on is it helps to clear fogged windows quicker - the air is dried by the AC, even if it's heating, rather than cooling, and dry air reduces fogging.
just subscribed! Wow well explained. I learned a lot.
Love your content. Thank you!
I’m about to lose my E450 to lease. But I subscribed and will marathon your videos for entertainment and to learn. I’m considering a GLS 550 as my last car. I’m getting old.
Mindblowing - I didn't know any of these ten. I'm now a subscriber! (2021 GLA 250e)
Thanks bro! Well explained, you own my subscription...👍👍👍
Very homely explanations with so much friendly and coffee table tone. Iam really so much educated as mercedes fun and owner of different models. So cool. Thank you so much. Keep the good work.

I did not know about the volume, thank you for the useful info.
Congrats man, great tips! Thnx!
Good info. Excellent program.
That E30 was looking nice infront of the restaurant.
Thank you for the headlight tip! I'm getting one this weekend, and had no idea about the lights having no off switch.
Spacibo! Certainly a very useful lesson to know, especially, for new MB owners. I still can't remove Service A/B after the oil change.
The hook is for safety triangle or lantern when you need to alert the traffic. And the hook on the side of the trunk is to keep the seatbelts out of the way (tucked to the side) ...
Hahaha 😆 the humor makes this lecture interesting. I like it, very informative

Love your videos. I always learn something new from each one.
👍👍
Wow!!! love and depend on your videos. I learn 4 new tricks!!!

dont have an idea about all the 10 donts, great piece
Great video learned alot and to the point
Valuable info. I have a GLS SUV but I don't know these till today. Thanks.
How has your GLS been, any issues?
pretty good. just need to do the service A and B. after that everything shall be fine. It is expensive to do after the warranty does now cover.@@bt4b4
Oh man, I enjoy watching your video. More power.
More to come!
Learn something today, thank you 😊
I knew three don'ts. Thanks, good video!
Boot hook ain’t a coat hook 😂 it’s for the reflective red emergency triangle that folds out 😂😂 if you break down 😂😂😂 not for a coat 😂😂😂. The rest of this video was very spot on and helpful. Thanks
I want to agree with you... but Mercedes Owner's Manual reads it's a "coat hook..." And why would you need to keep the rear door open just to hang the emergency triangle and drain your lights? It's easier to slap it under the rear wiper.
@@MBZMaster cars can see the triangle from further away. Place it on the floor and it’s less visible until they get closer. Try it if you ever need to use the triangle 🙂
3@@MBZMasterWhen you are dealing with a puncture and have the boot open and the floor lid hooked up to access the spare wheel.
Then you use that hook.
This man is genius best video to learn about Mercedes thank you for sharing
Lots of things i learned from you.keep it up
Cool!! Just got a Benz and I only figured out the hanger part of our segment, LOL. I subscribed, looking forward to your other tips. Thanks.

I love your content!! I just got my C300 today & I am in LOVE! Been applying your tips to it🥳🥳🥰
Congrats on your new car!
Excellent , informative and funny ;)
Great tips buddy!
Number nine helped me out a lot because I was wondering what was going on and why the car slowed down by itself all of a sudden. Thanks for making this video.😊 what I wanted to know is what does those three soft buttons under the rearview mirror do? And I also wanted to know if you can turn off the dimming, and if you can turn off the feature that makes the Sideview mirror tilt when you reverse.
3 buttons on the bottom of the rearview mirror can be programmed to open garage doors. Watch my video how to do it here ruclips.net/video/NK61NimaPUY/видео.html. Also, you can switch your right mirror from tilting while in Reverse, if you switch your mirror control from the right to left mirror. But it's a helpful feature for parking, and you can adjust it for yourself. Watch my video where I demoed how to adjust it in one of the features of this video ruclips.net/video/Um4cLpakLzw/видео.html
Thank you!!! The last tip is priceless as I am planning to purchase a Mercedes privately!!!!
Good luck!
Omg I learned so much from this video lol thank you 😊
My wife and I just purchased a 2022 Mercedes Bends and these tips are excellent. Thank you!

Gracias exelente video. Thank you explained it so great, helps me a lot !
I really learnt a lot. Thank you
Hi from Switzerland . Love your show. You should have more frequent content. My question is related to drive assist in GLE 2021 models. What is the difference between Standard and Sensitive in the assistance? Thank you.
Sensitive I don't recommend. For example too sensitive Parktronic will start beeping even when it senses very little objects, while they're still far away. Or very sensitive Active Brake Assist will detect the smaller objects in front of your car and will try to hit brakes too soon. I guess you should put everything in "sensitive" and see how it feels. If it's overly reactive, then move to "standard."
Love your videos
Tnx mate! Learned a lot!
Amazingly non! Great info vid😁
Great information….thanks
Great video!
lovely video informative and funny !
Number 8: Going to skiing, returning, changing clothes. Whoever did that, he/she knew what has to be done. Big like for that!

It was interesting and thank you very much.
Just bought a 2024 GLE AMATIC night package, so glad I found your videos, I can see how much I'm going to learn from you. Keep those great video coming! Question, what do the 2 silver buttons on the cup holders do?
Optional cup heater, but it's optional.
