I adore this beautiful city. I was here for 3 weeks in August and I found it really difficult to leave. Walking along sea point, watching the ships go by at the V&A Waterfront, hiking Table Mountain... I've never experienced such an amazing place like this before and never will again, until I go back :)
No matter how many times I visit Cape Town, I feel it’s not enough. Beside it being beautiful with such a wide variety of things to do, the vibe there is so relaxed and of course I love the picture perfect scenery and photographic opportunities ❤️💫👌🏼

@Uti Osuyah actually Bokaap is considered a "slums" area (the place where all the houses are different colours) but I totally agree with what you're saying. They're only showing you the high end places. There was no mention of the culture rich suburbs where your can enjoy a gatsby or African house music... You make out to be such a dangerous place but it's actually not. You just have to know where to go. Like any other place I the world.
I completely agree with your tips.. Although I would recommend also the Jewish museum, the National Gallery, The aqarium and Robbenisland. As I am afraid of heights, I will skip the helicopters, but I agree it must be stunning!

Thank you, I find negative comments ridiculous, unnecessarily discouraging tourism. They are banging on about crime... there's no where safe in this world. I live in Europe and it's not safe. Judging by what we see on the video we will visit South Africa. We intend to spend two weeks in Port Elizabeth, highly recommend by colleagues. From Port Elizabeth we will spend a couple of days in Cape Town on our way to Joburg. We intend to spend a week in Joburg then heard off to Durban where we'll spend at least two weeks. From what we gather the entire country has so much to offer. This will be our first holiday after two years of being stuck as a result of COVID-19. We are a large group of 30 people and are looking forward to the journey👍
Hope odyssey, nope. Been there and it is a tourist trap, trying to cash in on Mandela's name. Personally I like nature, and nature wise Robben Island is just a flat piece of rock with a prison on it. As attractions goes, nothing is more unattractive than a prison.

South Africa is wonderful, I stay in Cape Town. Traveled the world, and Cape Town is definitely one of the best places. Just be careful when visiting South Africa, it is extremely dangerous. Do not walk alone at night, or wonder off in areas you should not. Girls if you want to taste some local cuisine, becareful who you meet up with and take back to the hotel or visiting his place. Frequently some goes missing, and found dumped somewhere. Or you going back home with the rape story that will haunt you forever. Other than that, enjoy South Africa, especially Cape Town. Cape Town is the second largest in South Africa after Johannesburg that means there's a lot of places that you can go and it's safe crime is everywhere but not everyday don't listen to these people talk bad about Cape Town I'm black I grew up in Townships tourists come a lot in Townships and they r not bothered people drives fancy cars in Townships nothing happens I talk as a person who is born and grew up here yes there is crime but that can not stop u to explore its just 1 of those days when u get robbed people r jealous because President is black in South Africa if you gonna listen to people talking rubbish you r missing out South Africa is always full every year with tourist there's a lot of safe places you can go to Cape Town always full with tourist because it is no 1 beautiful city in South Africa and it's a FACT God bless you as You coming this festive season December Good life good good beautiful beaches
