They are supposed to be there but there is a glitch that causes them not to work. In some extremely rare cases it does work. I know I’ve had it happen once or twice but it’s supposed to be more common.
It's more that it only plays when the Jak 1 death animation happens, which is very rare since they have all the added death animations from Jak II put in as well
The ps2 era is way better than the current generation. It doesn't have the charm, humour, fun game that could be played entirely for free, nowadays, the games are full of glitches, lags and are unfinished..
Am I the only one that thinks that Wokeness have something to do with this? It seems like games are afraid to be funny or edgy anymore. GTA6 may forbid from hitting female pedestrians or something. They just wanna appeal to as many people as possible, so they just make flat games. Games that seem amazing to a non-gamer that just watches it from pewdiepie while jerkin off but they play like shit with a boring ass story. Just like Ragnarok.

@@JmD-126 I thought so, I think the ps3 remaster had a lot of dialogue that ps2 and ps4 don’t :) very very cool to still see new stuff from these games even after playing them for 20 years
"Maybe you should sit on my shoulder for a while!"
I always thought it was so interesting that they brought this back after it was taken out of Jak 2. Fans must have missed it from Jak 1 lol
It still happens, only in some areas tho
It does happen in jak 2 no? If I remember correctly you have to die ALOT of times.

"See? This is what happens when you take my name out of the title."
🤣
@CipherRage-tp5qlHe does say it in Jak 3
Only Daxter could make it fun to die in a video game
"Don't step into the light, Jak! DON'T STEP INTO THE LIGHT!"
Step one: Stay alive.
Step two: THINK ABOUT SOMETHING NOT DOING THAT AGAIN!!!
Crash Bandicoot had some fun death animations too
“I’ll say something really teary at the funeral like: HOW AM I GONNA GET CHANGED BACK NOW?!”
Thanks, now I want to play this game again...
Dew it
It's worth it
I guess you could also say, that this is what happens, when they dropped Daxter’s name from the title! Cx
Do it!
These games have good replay value ngl
I thought it was so weird how these death scenes only happened in certain areas of jak 3

"Hey Jak! Can I.... have your gun?"
“This is what happens when they drop my name from the title” 🗿
"You need your bottle? COME ON YOU BIG BABY"!
“You meant to do that right” 😂😂😂
The funniest 🤣
“Ohhhhhohohoh man! That had to hurt…”
Bruh, I got that EXACT SAME death quote at that EXACT SAME spot in the game!!
So glad they brought back Daxter's death dialogues from Precursor Legacy.
ALRIGHT CUT!!! WHERES THE DIRECTOR!? I CANT WORK LIKE THIS!!!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I agree. Too many games nowadays release with too many bugs and DLC that just tell you the game was unfinished on purpose to get more money.

Arkham death vibes
Omg that game is my childhood , I played it when I was around 7-8 yo (in 2013 - 2014) I played the whole trilogy on the PS3 :D
The trilogy is fantastic and I have many memories of playing it for the first time on PS2 before they got put on PS3
i just got finished playing through this trilogy again, good stuff 😂
Daxter was always so funny 😂
The scene with the crying warrior in Jak and Daxter. He says "Have you tried attacking him with your melodrama, cus it's killing me!" hahaha
@@AngealHewley0I loved Daxter’s sarcasm and wisecracks
They just dont make em like they used to.
They really don't. Video games used to have good consistency
I didn't even know this game had this. It's hard to die in this game because of cheap it is that you can just heal yourself lol
One reason I’m sad we still don’t have a new Jak game, is that I want one of Daxter’s death dialogues to be, “Good thing these aren’t canon!”
“You did that on purpose right?”
😂
I wonder if Daxter is complaining about Jak screwing up or the whole trap system being rigged.
That’s awesome Ive never seen that voice line before now :p what version of 3 is this clip from?

Nah, he has several lines if you die, but they only play after a specific amount of deaths at a time iirc, so you might not see all of them.
