@RtxNicky Dolphins with Tua when it's below 70 degrees they are 7-7, and worst yet, when they are below 40, their record is now at 0-9 with this loss. That's a clear indication that weather affects this team, considering that when it's like 70+ degrees, their record is like 20-8. That should tell you everything. As Stephen A Smith said "Not even cold, but just a breeze, and this team will fold."
More importantly, they were immediately and consistently NGR'd by the refs.

He might be my favorite player on the whole team. I knew really early last year he would develop into our TE#1. But I didnt see him becoming Loves most trusted target like he's become. I guess there's The Ravens, Bills, and Chiefs in the AFC, but I don't see any signs of "elitism". In the NFC, the popular favorite S.F. team might not even make the playoffs, and The Vikes, Lions, and Packers are so new to the game that we just don't know yet! The NFL is one crazy, parity driven, competitive league in 2024, hey? 😅

@StagMax141 Yep! The unsung heroes of that O line. Farve and Rodgers didn't always have the greatest playmakers like Miami, but we've watched Green Bay ALWAYS put a top 10 or top 5 very deep OLine. If an NFL team dominates at the first 5 positions on the Oline, they'll always have a chance, hey? Yesterday night, I watched Waddle, the great Hill, AND Beckam try to do their stuff, but a growing young Pack Oline was even better. Happy Playoffs soon! It comes quick.
Good Win for us tonight .. our defense was impeccable All Night we had Tua under a lot of pressure & Tyreek Hill & Waddle couldn’t get the ball until the Third quarter .. one of the best defenses in the league & Josh Jacobs didn’t an outstanding job tonight on rushing & the receivers did good we have a lot of young potential

If a professional team can't win when it is cold in a sport that is played outside [most games] in late fall/winter...they are not to be taken seriously.
Think of the reverse situation. A team from up north goes to Miami late in the season and it's maybe 90 and high humidity.

Jordan Love had another efficient game passing, but if the packers are gonna make noise in the playoffs, their defense is gonna have to play better than they did tonight. The Dolphins had too many chances to score in the red zone area

@sports3117 Yards per play given up, yes they could use some improvements. But they held one of the explosive offenses in the league to just 17 points. I'd say they did a fine job.
Whining about that? Just be thankful the injuries haven't been worse. Lions are now about to have a really tough game next thursday. D also stopped A lot of drives and got some sacks and a fumble and recovery. Defense also gave the inside yards to janu because it runs out the clock and waddle/tyreek were covered so the middle of the field is exposed, it's now defense works.

Miami is not a good team. With this coach and this roster, Miami is 1-15 against teams with winning records. They are soft and McDaniels as well as Grier need to be fired. Otherwise, this is the best you will get from Miami. Beat weak teams, lose to winning teams, just miss the playoffs or 1 and done if they get in. I mean, think about it, Miami scored 70 on Denver last year but this year, they need that Broncos team to lose a few games for Miami to have a shot at the playoffs. That's how bad Miami really is

One thing that seems to separate a team with high priced receivers like Miami from even Bay or especially Detroit and Philly are the things we don't watch - better play calling and an offensive line that at least gives the quarterback time to think. Ya know that Green Bay doesn't even have a WR in the top 50 for catches and yardage? It's more a complimentary thing and not just heaving the ball to Waddle or Hill 50 yards 5 times a game. But thanks for your reply - the only way I learn about some teams a little more is thru folks that watch them every week.

They gave up 17 points, one TD late in the fourth. Let's calm down. Sure they could work on minimizing yards or play allowed. But when it came down to it they kept the dolphins out of the end zone for the majority of the game.

They softened their coverage in the second half. Of course Tua, the stat padder that he is, is gonna have great numbers. He didn't make the plays when he needed to though...as usual.
First half pass defense was good. Second half it seemed they changed things. Less pressure on qb due to lead. One time only 3 guys rushing qb. Wth. Keep the foot on the pedal.
