  • Can you allow yourself to let go?
    Part of being human is our desire to want to control things. The reality is there is a whole Universe which exists outside of the realms of your control. If we spend our whole life clinging to plans, we may miss out on receiving what is actually here.
    There is a quote that: “Life is what happens to us while we are making other plans.” What life is here to be lived? Just in this moment, can you allow yourself to let go? Let's breathe and let go.
    The power of letting go involves releasing our grip on the incessant stream of thoughts and emotions that often dominate our consciousness. It's a conscious act of relinquishing control and trusting in a higher intelligence or the flow of life itself.
    In meditation, this surrender unfolds as we observe our thoughts and feelings without clinging to them or trying to manipulate them. Instead, we surrender to the present moment, allowing it to unfold exactly as it is. In doing so, we eventually tap into a profound sense of peace and inner freedom.
    By embracing surrender in our meditation practice, we open ourselves to a deeper connection with the essence of who we are beyond the fluctuations of the mind. This act of letting go becomes a gateway to profound insights, healing, and transformation.

    Here's suggested JOURNALING PROMPTS for this guided meditation:
    1. What's your relationship like with planning your time? How do you feel when you plan your activities?
    2. Do you execute on your plans? What tend to be your patterns? Do you follow through? Or do you have a pattern of not committing?
    3. What comes up for you when plans need to change suddenly? What thoughts and feelings arise?
    4. How does it feel to let go? To let go of plans, or letting go of goals, or letting go of relationships, or even letting go of thoughts. Does it come easily to you? Or is there holding on? Where can you easily let go, and where do you hold on?
    5. Do you often hold your breath without realising? Are there any other places in your body where you feel yourself physically holding on, clenching, tightening?
    6. Are there areas of your life where you struggle to let go? Why do you think that is?
    7. If the Universe had your back and you could not fail, what do you really want? And what do you need to let go of in order to move closer towards that?
