An absolutely brilliant tutorial, I learnt more in a couple of hours than I could have hoped for. I was working along with you all the way. I have saved the tutorial as I know I will want to watch it again and again, getting old, memory not so good 🥴 once again thank you xx
Thank you Kim! I wondered how to get my projects from Canvas to the downloaded version. That’s a game changer! 🥰 Going off to make little boxes for my grandkids! 😁
Thanks for your videos. Learning a LOT!! Very new to this and have a question. How do you get the canvas preloaded projects from the lists to the worksheet to cut out? Hope this makes sense. Thanks again for your videos and any help you can give me.
I think you mean how do I get them from an SVG file into the Canvas Workspace software and then onto the machine to cut. I have an entire course on this. Several hours. Check out my Canvas Workspace A to Z course. www.udemy.com/course/canvas-workspace/?referralCode=893394A7807A62924EF1
Thanks Denise. I wanted to take the mystery out of transferring files to and from your machine. I get so many questions about this topic. Glad I could help you.
Diane, You can delete score lines if they are not groups and are not part of the file. For example, inside of Canvas Workspace, I often delete them. That way, I can make my own instead of having dashed lines. It just depends on the type of project that I am doing.
Thank you so much for the tips & tricks! I'm a SU Demonstrator and just bought the ScanNCut SDX125E. On the tag, could you have done both at the same time if you put DSP on the right side and cardstock on the left?
If you try to cut two different thicknesses of paper at one time, you take the chance of either cutting through your mat, because the blade depth is set for card stock. Or, your card stock may not cut correctly because you blade depth is set for the thinner DSP.
@@PaperedChef you are more than welcome!!! I really appreciate the time, detail, and thought you put into your tutorials. I'm a VERY visual learner and you provide that .. a lot of folks don't
Be sure you were using the same Canvas Workspace as me. The versions are different on the browser based versions. You don't need to download that. You just use the web site.
Lester, there could be many reasons but first check that if you have a CM model, you are using the mat which loads in both directions (arrows on each side) and if you have the SDX, you are using a mat with a diamond hole which loads in just one direction.
Great tutorial. You explain everything so clearly.
I have learned a lot with these activities and followed along 😅. You are terrific and I appreciate the ease of your instructs. 🙏
I just got one - just did one project due to ‘newbie fear’ you’re a GREAT instructor! I had no idea you could “Draw”!!!! I’m so excited!!! Thankyou!
Great, I hope you have been giving this a try. I am glad you are so enthusiastic about learning this.

Thanks for this tutorial, but I wish you would have shown how to remove score lines. Kim, what did you use to re-stick your mat?
She uses Zig 2-way glue. She had a few tutorials on that.

Such a great tutorial 😊
Thanks Jan. I appreciate it.
such a great video
Glad you think so! Thanks so much for watching Jan!
That is a great tutorials. Unfortunately I only have the CM700 and the little box isn't available. It's a shame because I could use this one 😔
Oh yes, this didn't come with that model but you can find similar SVGs online. Thanks for watching.

@@kathyhart5105 Makes sense. Thanks so much for replying. I have learned so much from you!
Robin, I see Kathy answered. I try to cut lots of things at the same time as long as I am using the same type of material.
Where do you buy your card stock and designer paper? Is it a particular brand? I’m totally new to this.
Love it❣
Thanks, I appreciate you watching and your comment Lynn!

Kim, I have version 1.6 how can I download 2.6? I tried going to properties and weld a word and it won't work. 😐

How do you connect wirelessly
Here is a tutorial for that. ruclips.net/video/2ZTQzfOjWZE/видео.html
Can you tell me my mat don't always want to load

What kind of paper do you use?
I use Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper for my projects. You can purchase new designs at my store: paperedchef.stampinup.net
