Sure. I tend to check out people's channels if they're active on the channel, or seem like they may be interesting. However, I'm very picky on what I subscribe to, and I just don't watch every kind of video just because someone asked me to. Same goes for shout-outs, I cannot fairly shout-out somebody for no reason other than they asked, it would be unfair to anyone else who were to ask and I would be unable to do so. A shoutout from me will not gain you much viewership or subscribers.

Great video but something I’d like to note is that Megatrons fusion canon in game was just on his arm and didn’t become his arm which is why it looks wonky replacing it on the new one
It's been so long since I played the game I always thought it WAS his arm. From the back view it almost looks like it is, but I see his normal arm hiding there. My bad! lol
Yeah it is for every weapon, except for megatrons fusion cannon
@@Jcc2224His FOC design had it as his arm. You might be getting it confused with that.

Fun fact in the videogame Megatron never uses the threads of his tank mode he always hovers even wen he goes fast. (also in the game they always Ave their knees bent) that is why the legs Ave that lock tab I think.

The Takara version of the Deluxe WFC Megatron from when the game came out was alot darker grey...Looked incredible!
Megatron in WFC had his fusion canon on the traditional arm format. It is only in FOC, when he gets his new body, does he have his canon (now called the riot canon) transform out of his arm :)
I did not even have to look that up, I just remembered how weird it looked in FOC lol
I really like both, they both do things well and not so well. New one definitely not as big of an upgrade to the old like the Optimus from earlier this year was.
The GE figure looks way closer to the game color wise. The fusion cannon specifically does just stay on his arm in the game from what I recall.
The two pluses with the first one is the fold up threads that make it seem like a hover mode shift. I also love how beefy his fusion cannon is, and I love the dynamic of that huge cannon taking up the whole top of the tank mode's brick shape hull as the turret.
The theory on his legs are that a CAD model was received wrong and the assemblers didn’t know that they were assembling it wrong so this wasn’t supposed to be an intentional thing
The other theory floated around was that a floor manager could have decided to add them for more stability because they sometimes just do that
@@ailestriker9888 someone said it's because in the game they all are always in a He-Man-like squating position and it kinda makes sense. Idk why they would prioritise that over more articulation, but you can always simply untab it or just cut the piece. It ain't a big deal at all.
@@yghostest floor managers have decided to add random changes in the past, thinking that the toy will require it despite the designers putting so much effort into doing it for them. All the modern transformers focus on articulation and poseability at the COST of stability and looks so I can only guess it wasn’t their choice
The Voyager one is top notch!
I honestly do like how that one looks more in game accurate in specific parts (especially in his alt form), if only my copy didn't have a problem with his left leg being able to pop off and his right arm being a bit loose
I'm personally waiting for the rumored Bumblebee movie concept art Megatron to be my Studio Series Megatron because I missed all the Bayverse Megatron's and want one that goes good with the ROTB figures because that's what my collection consists of most right now. Great video, This new Gamer edition Megatron is cool, but I'll probably pass on it.
I really love the original wfc Megatron mould. just about everything about it hit home with me in a way none of the rest of them did. The only thing the new one has is the height.
Hey, I've been working on a 3d model for the deluxe's cannon, this video was released just the right time, I really want that deluxe. COuld you tell me what type of ports does it have for both, tank and robot mode? I mean, the specifications in mm
If you take some pliers a or scissors and keep going at it, you can clip off the tabs on the SS Megatron so you can get the full knee articulation. ThatToyGuy did the same thing and and it worked. I also like that you can store the mace on his back via the peg hole on his back and the peg in the middle of the mace.

I'm fairly certain that the weird notches on the backs of SS megatron's knees are due to misassembly and are meant to be flipped around so they're inside the legs
I hope they do warpath too. I'd hope they'd do a Brawl too so I can have the first Decepticon level crew.
Honestly tho, I feel like they could've had another separate removable fusion cannon molded to what it looks like when in his robot mode for the new toy. I feel like that would ease disappointment a bit
The voyager megatron is not perfect but the design is a decent update over the 2010 deluxe figure
On mine I cut off the “neck” that was molded into the head, I’m not sure if you’d be comfortable doing that but it gives you a ton of head movement (also if shave the small tab on the front of the knee joint off it gets rid of the click that the knees have)
being a scale nuts, I like the new one, but if you upscale the old one, I would totally picked the old one.

For the studio series megaton knees you can just clip off the notches and sand it down and have great articulation
DNA is gonna have a field day with the new guy, I just know it.
While I do prefer the deluxe, I can rest easy, knowing that this new voyager from the Gamer series can serve as a worthy replacement once the former crumbles into dust.

It might be the grey plastic but for some reason the sculpt on this newer one looks softer
Never had the old one got the new one and immediately clipped the things on his knees and have not been able to put him down

These two figures are the ones that made me realize that "Accuracy" is simply a aesthetic choice, not a definition of quality.
One figure is clearly more accurate than the other, but also so much worse in so many ways... At least in my opinion.
i think the SSGE fusion cannon would look better if it didn't stick so far out from the arm
also, Megatron is the only character in this game to have his weapon on his arm and not just an arm turn into a gun lmao

Eh I hate when they give megatron a massive oversized fusion cannon, the new one is more than half the length of his body. It looks fine. I think a lot of the love for the deluxe is nostalgia based, especially considering its less accurate in many ways. The whole debate about which color is more accurate is pretty much entirely subjective, everyone seems to remember it differently. I must say the body proportions on the deluxe are better looking than on the voyager
If the old one wasn’t so much shorter I wouldn’t even consider the new one lol
And no one talks about the stupid tank tread parts just sticking on the side of the shins
No idea why you say the new one is more accurate. The old one looks way more like the game than the new one, both in sculpt and paintjob.
The older Megs AND Prime are better than the new ones.
Very much disagree on both. Old Prime was inaccurate and annoying as hell to transform and new Megs is more accurate and fun to pose and transform.

It’s impressive how they had a decade of engineering improvements and they somehow did worse than a deluxe from 10 years ago.
The alt modes on both are terrible. Game accuracy doesn’t make a good toy.
