A brilliant English group unique thing is the drummer lost an arm in a car crash the group waited for him to recover he returned to them he now plays drums with one hand and his feet
@lizziethegangsterhippie9291 The drum kit was also special made, by request, to accommodate him. I'm 57, so was in my late teens when this album came out.
That entire album is great. Check out some more of their stuff. Their ballads are pretty hard to beat but they rock out too. One of my all time favorite bands.
Beautiful song. Still one of my all-time favourites. Def Leppard just did shows here in Australia last weekend with Motley Crue. Unfortunately my crippling social anxiety issues meant I missed it.
Great band as so many are from this era in which I miss! I’m gen z from this time period! A band from this time period that I may think you would like to listen to is Skid Row! You will fall in love with the lead singer for his range and talent…. I remember you, is somewhat along the same lines as Hysteria, though I would also recommend Wasted Time, I a Darkened Room and Quicksand Jesus, to start off the journey as it represents the lead singer, Sebastian Bach’s, talent!
Journey and Def Leppard, two of my favorite bands with countless mega-hits between them, :). It's great to see you back doing some reactions again, hope your health is doing better and life is well. (Definitely check out Pour Some Sugar On Me from Def Leppard when you want to hear another awesome hard rock song, or Love Bites for a great 80s power ballad)
Def Leppard is a good band with a lot of good songs. Leppard is commonly pronounced just like the big cat. Some of their songs are high energy, I like this one a lot.
Great song Lizzie!!!❤❤❤ Hysteria is an awesome song..❤❤ Foolin, Rock Of Ages, Die Hard the Hunter, Pour Some Sugar On Me, Rocket, Photograph, Woman, and Bringing On the Heartbreak, are just some of their amazing songs...❤❤❤
LOVE Def Leppard, a great band and great guys. This whole album is amazing. One of my favourites is the accoustic version of Two Steps Behind. There is even a version with Taylor Swift and her band!
Love this band....really LOVE them for standing by their drummer 🎵🎶 Love the look 💚 (speaking of that, you should react to Roxette's You Got The Look)!
Hi there… Def is such a great Rock band. Good to see you listening and reacting to the them. Do yourself a favor and listen to Pink Floyd’s ‘Time’. Listen to the original audio with headphones. Even if you don’t react to it, give a listen. One of the best songs ever.
Easily my favorite Def Leppard song of all time. Such a chill Hard Rock sound. For similar vibe check out Duran Duran's "Come Undone" and "Ordinary World".
God bless ya. I love watching you get into a song. Youre a real beauty and I love your soft voice. This was a great song. These guys were really growing by this time and their music was getting more personal. This sounds like guy talking to a girl hes sure of and wants to know if she is too
Cool. Glad you like it. They are my most favorite band of all time. Try listening to Animal and Armageddon It and Pour Some Sugar on Me. They kick ass too.
If I had known You had not heard of this band before I would have mentioned them too You years ago. This is one of the Bands that helped MTV and other Music channels grow as rapidly as They did. Armageddon it!, Love Bites, Pour some sugar on Me, Animal, Two steps behind, Rocket, Rock of Ages, are just some of the songs You should check out. You are now on Your first steps going down this rabbit hole... enjoy the ride Lizzie!!
thanks so much! pour some sugar on me is a song I really like & have heard from time to time growing up, I had no idea they made that song 😭 excited to check out more from them!
Hey Lizzie, you picked a banger of a first song video to react to sweetie!! Other tracks from their biggest selling CD include Animal, Love Bites, Armageddon It and Pour Some Sugar On Me!! Older hits include Photograph and Rock Of Ages!! You can't go wrong picking any of those songs for future reaction videos darlin!! Anyway, take care of yourself!! Merry Christmas and have a happy new year hun!! MUAH!!!!!🙂💋🫣
Don't think Def Leppard is an underrated band, but perhaps they are under-mentioned when it comes to talking about great R&R bands. They are simply a good band with tons of good songs. Including this one. A couple more from them -- Animal and Photograph.
Might as well do the best soundtrack ever in a movie The Good the bad and the ugly by the danish national symphony orchestra. It’s still used in many commercials today
I love the fact you are down with the older crowd of Music, stuff I grew up with (when it was new). Great reactions to great songs. That aside I just wanted to say, all of your fashion choices and hair changes, make up etc. is all very cute. BUT, with those big beautiful eyes, I absolutely love it when you go cross eyed....... Honestly, it's about as cute as you can get. Lol..... Good job young lady and keep up the good work. Oh, DL's moodier stuff is really where it's at IMO. Try Bringing on the Heartbreak.... You like Harmonies, you will love the chorus.
for sure, I feel like we have a lot to learn from the music that came before what we have now and it should be appreciated! plus it’s always great to discover new songs for myself and provide a space where those who grew up on what I’m reacting to, they can look back and hopefully share stories and memories with eachother 🙏🏾🦋 thanks so much!
Check out Miss Lizzie rockin' that Malibu Barbie style! Blonde works for you, then again you could shave your head bald and still look good. I don't mind Def Leppard as long as I don't have to watch their videos, they came off as a bunch of snotty twenty-somethings on MTV, but they did put out some fairly good tunes. Rock on, Miss Lizzie, and thanks for asking us to hang out and vibe with you. Much love, as always. ❤
Yeah, so, as far as suggestions, from a 55-ish girly girl, I would like to suggest some key bands from the 80s that really shaped my taste for rock and roll. In terms of hard rock, Led Zeppelin’s Whole Lotta Love I think was the first true hard rock ‘n’ roll I ever heard, though it was a 70’s tune. Totally blew my mind. Joan Jett opened my eyes to 80s pop/hard rock because of, well, who she is; you would have to start with I Love Rock and Roll, or maybe her punk rock f**k you stuff like Bad Reputation or Do You Wanna Touch Me - I mention those three because there are some great videos for them. I hated male hair bands such as Def Leopard at first, but Van Halen has got to be your classic hair band and now I really enjoy their harder driving songs that heavily feature Eddie’s virtuoso guitar - Hot for Teacher is great because it is hilarious… whether watching the video or listening only it’s a sure fire way to bring up my mood. But I can’t possibly leave out, as a Texan, ZZ Top, RIP Dusty. Shoot, I should have put them at the top of the list. You must must MUST watch their three classic videos from the Eliminator album- Gimme all Your Lovin’, Sharp Dressed Man, and Legs. Each tell a little story involving the “Three Graces” (as I think of them) granting a fantasy or transformation to poor little awkward square kids, like me at the time I guess. Helped set the standard in the first year or two of MTV, the new platform making music videos a thing. If we are avoiding Eliminator which many people would, I would strongly recommend La Grange. Oh, one more, though I would love to go on, I’m sure you’re not even reading this anymore, but let’s do Welcome to the Jungle, maybe the greatest hit of all time for Guns n Roses. You can of course avoid all the videos for these songs and just rock out. I hope you have a good speaker system to attach to you computer so you can turn it up to “11”.
Hi lizzy! Love your videos! I'm a rock fan. And I would love for you to listen to a rock ballad, the song is called HALLOWED GROUND ( with lyricks) the band is WASP. It's one of my favorites.
I’ll try to do it in the future but as many people have informed me, Eagles is known for going after channels that react to their music so I’ll give it some time and hopefully within the next month or so I’ll react to it! 🙏🏾
If you're going to listen to official music videos can I strongly suggest you open your eyes and watch most of them! It'll give you something extra to react to.
your reaction was the same as the 1980 womens reactions when this came on..especially at their concerts.. ya'll used to loose your minds over them...rock on!
Hey Lizzie! Wonderful reaction. More classic rock bands to listen to if you haven't yet... Led Zeppelin and AC/DC. LZ was strongly influenced by the rhythm and blues scene and most of their songs are either considered classics or near classics, and AC/DC is heavier party rock, but still has a sense of the melodic and are playfully naughty. It's not thrasher metal or just noise. Of the two bands, Led Zeppelin is more "sophisticated" and instrumentally layered and their rock performers were considered some of the best in the world. They are The Beatles of rock, much like The Rolling Stones.
You'll not get a lot of requests for this lesser known but pouplar band, Night Ranger, you might start with "When You Close Your Eyes" or "Sister Christian".
A brilliant English group unique thing is the drummer lost an arm in a car crash the group waited for him to recover he returned to them he now plays drums with one hand and his feet
aww wow, that’s so wonderful that they waited for his recovery and that he’s still playing!
@lizziethegangsterhippie9291 The drum kit was also special made, by request, to accommodate him. I'm 57, so was in my late teens when this album came out.
Rick Allen "A.K.A" The Thunder God! He taught himself how to play the rhythm with his feet!!!!
This Song easily makes my Top 20 Songs of All Time! :)
Does anyone remember "Rock Brigade"? On Through The Night, High And Dry, and Pyromania were also great albums.
Two biggest hits, "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and "Photograph". Dozens of hits to choose from.
That entire album is great. Check out some more of their stuff. Their ballads are pretty hard to beat but they rock out too. One of my all time favorite bands.
This IS some good s**t; if you listen to us 80's guys you will listen to a lot of good s**t!
You picked an awesome Def Leppard track. "Love Bites" would also fit the vibe of your channel. Nice reaction. Nice job.
thanks so much!!
This is Awesome. A huge Def fan, this is my all time favorite!

Great band as so many are from this era in which I miss! I’m gen z from this time period! A band from this time period that I may think you would like to listen to is Skid Row! so wonderful of them to have waited for their drummer! & thanks so much!!
@@lizziethegangsterhippie9291,they waited 2 years for him to recover and relearn how to play again. That's loyalty among friends at it's best

Hello Liz I enjoy your reaction
Armageddon it! is also a fun hit! Joe Elliot and his blatant British flags were almost as powerful as Iron Maiden's Eddie, also Brits.
If I had known You had not heard of this band before I would have mentioned them too You years ago. This is one of the Bands that helped MTV and other Music channels grow as rapidly as They did. Hey liz, if you want to review a good Def song, try “Animal”, great track, keep rocking 🤘
Final Fantasy VI is my favorite. The opera house scene was incredible and the main antagonist was truly despicable
Indeed. I'm still torn between 1 and 6.
Try Photograph, Rock of Ages, Pour Some Sugar on Me, Love Bites
Love your hair 😊
Great make out song!! Oh the memories!!
