That poor dude 😭 he grew up with no support. His father always told him he wasn't good enough. Got in Def Leppard became a drunk had a bestie in Phil. Phil quit drinking and he felt alone again. Sad life for a brilliant musical Man
Great song, great album. Took them almost 3 years to complete. First Rick Allen got in a car wreck and lost his arm, Mutt Lange, their producer, left as they were putting it together. They waited for Rick to recuperate to finish the record. It kicks ass.
They were targeting more the ladies and the mainstream with this album. Some of us hard rock fans were a little saddened 😰 but love Def Leppard just the same.
They also change producer I wish to hear the almost finish album with the one make Total Eclipse of the heart and I'll do anything for love, hope one day they air it!!!!
The entire album "Hysteria" is one of my favorite albums top to bottom. Every song is amazing. I definitely recommend Animal, Don't Shoot Shotgun, and Run Riot. Great reaction Biss!! ❤🤘
My favorite off that album has always been Women - a must listen for Biss. As is Love Bites, probably the second -most iconic song on that album after PSSOM. I've always said Love Bites was the Def Leppard song most loved by people who don't really like Def Leppard. Not that we don't like it too, it was amazing and of course there is a girl (three actually) of which it will always bring back memories, but most all-in fans of Def Leppard have another one they "claim" as their favorite. Usually one that rocks a little harder - to be fair Love Bites definitely rocks, but not quite as hard - and didn't necessarily saturate the airwaves as much.
'Hysteria' (album) came out in 1987... it sold 3 million copies in the US initially, but after the 4th single 'Pour some sugar on me' was released in 1988... its sales climbed to 12 million and saved Def Leppard from financial disaster. By 1989, both Def Leppard's 'Hysteria' and Guns N' Roses' debut album 'Appetite for destruction' (1987) had each outsold Michael Jackson's 'Bad' album (which was no easy feat - it sold 11 million copies in the US)
'87 rock albums: Hysteria, Appetite for Destruction, The Joshua Tree (U2), Permanent Vacation (Aerosmith), Whitesnake, Tango in the Night (Fleetwood Mac), Kick (INXS), etc... 1986's Slippery When Wet (Bon Jovi) ultimately became the best-selling album of 1987 in the USA. Bad continued to sell well worldwide over the decades, currently at 12th place all-time.
Hi Miss Bisscute & subscribers From the Sunshine State of Florida 🌞. The Like Button 🔘 has been Illuminated 😁👍👍😎 I was Fortunate to see this Group in Concert At the Hollywood Hard Rock in FLA. With STYX & REO Speedwagon Here are 4 more you May Really Enjoy Miss Bisscute 1) Rock of Ages 2) Photograph StYX ( Miss America ) REO ( Can't fight this Feeling anymore )
I was 14 when the Hysteria album came out.... Still remember it like yesterday... 1987, watching Animal, Hysteria, Pour Some Sugar, Love Bytes enter the charts.... running to the record store after school tryin to get the album... It was actually the only album i ever got on cassette because i could never find the LP in stock anywhere. My favorites are still Hysteria and When Love And Hate Collide
"Bringing on the Heartbreak" is their best song (IMO), but they have tons of great songs. "Love Bites", " Rock of Ages", "Women", "Pour Some Sugar on Me", "Photograph", "Animal", "Too Late For Love", "Foolin'", "Rocket".
Great reaction Bisscute! This just isn't my favorite Def Leppard song, it's my favorite song EVER, no matter the genre. Keep up the great vids! Many blessings to you and yours.
I would go back and start with High and Dry album, then Pyromania album. But you could really pick ANY song of theirs and it’s going to be awesome. I saw them live in 89. Hysteria tour
Fun fact Def Leppard read the word Hysteria in a newspaper thought it would make for a great song. You should check out Def Leppard's miss you in a heartbeat acoustic version.
DEF LEPPARD! I'm feeling the love Bisscute and totally digging the 80's vibes!!! 🥰❤😎... Taken from the mega-successful 1987 album, HYSTERIA ... You just can't go wrong with them. I will tell that they do rock songs as great as their "romantic" ballads, as you see! Glad you're enjoying the ride. For further exploration, I would suggest "ANIMAL" or "ROCK OF AGES" for the rock-side, and for the softer side, I would suggest "MISS YOU IN A HEARTBEAT" or "TWO STEPS BEHIND". Cheers!
Great rock band and great persons each of them!! They always support their friend the drummer 🥁 and stay together that’s why this band has a unique sound of the drums ❤
Ah another great band out of the UK in my beloved hair band band era. Hysteria is my favorite album and the furst tour they kicked off after its release was fantastic. Truly this album is tge BEST of their career. Pour Some Sugar on Me is still my ultimate fav song. Such great memories!!😊😊❤❤ RIP always Steve Clark
Def Leppard is one of my favorite bands. The songs that get a ton of play on radio stations are great! I love their other songs that don't get as much attention. "Run Riot", "love and affection ", "mirror mirror", "stage fright", "excitable", "hello America ", "guilty", "she's to tough", and "high n dry". Check out "viva hysteria ". It's a live concert where they play the "hysteria " album as the main event. The opening act is def leppard as dead flat bird. That's right they came out as their own cover band! Dead flat bird plays older or unknown leppard songs live. Such a great show!
I just joined your channel for the reaction to hysteria. I hope you continue listening to Def Leppard, because they have a great catalog of hits. They’re one of the best bands around.
Thanks for this Bisscute. I'm watching this with you and not alone in my crazy world. Lots of love from Brit guy in Asia. Def Leppard was really great when I was a school teen.
Ballroom dancing in jeans and cowboy boots. What a fun esthetic to set against this beautiful song. And - as always - R.I.P. to Steve Clark. Thank you for so much of the soundtrack of my youth. And a shout-out to Rick Allen for cracking on as the God Of Thunder with only one freaking arm, and to his band mates for their patience to let that happen. The wait was ABSOLUTELY more than worth it!
I remember when Def Leppard came to the Tower Records near my house, just before they made it big. Some of my favorite songs by them are "Rock of Ages", "Love Bites", "Photograph", "Armaggedon It", "Foolin", and so many more. It speaks volumes when they kept their drummer Rick Allen after losing his arm. He didn't lose a beat!
Love Bites, Two Steps Behind, Rock of Ages, and Armageddon It are also worth checking out. Trying to keep it even between the ballads and higher energy songs lol.
This one falls more under their rock ballad genre (Their most famous one might be Love Bites from the same album?) and not quite as anthem rock as Pour Some Sugar On me. If you prefer the latter, Armageddon It is a good one.
What a tune. Def Leppard always making great ballads. Have U Ever Needed Someone So Bad or When Love And Hate Collide could be the next step. With more energy Die Hard The Hunter or Women.
You have the best reactions ❤ This came out when I was younger but I didn't really appreciate it at the time because I didn't associate myself with being a "rocker" It really is such a great album though and especially this song is so mellow, catchy and has that "feeling"
O the memories come flooding back with this one! You should consider doing a review of AC/DC you shook me all night long or Thunder struck. The lead singers voice, not something you have ever heard before.
Def Leppard has always been one of my favorite bands. You should check out a song by them called "Women" (In the Round In Your Face) version. It's a live version, and it's a great performance. Thanks for continuing with Def Leppard Biss. Another great reaction.
The albums Pyromania, Hysteria and Adrenalize are the perfect trilogy to know about Def Leppard! 😉Hysteria is also the last album with guitarist Steve Clark, who will die of alcohol in 1991.
Nice to see some more Def Leppard. A recommendation I have is doing Photograph by the band and then reacting to Photograph by Santana with Chris Daughtry and compare the two.
Damn! I just graduated HS and this album started kicking out singles. You’re absolutely right. Popping in the tape, windows down on a warm summer night, cruising with friends and singing at the top of your lungs. It happened. A lot!
Maybe sample the band 's earlier tracks like Photograph, Rock, Rock ('Til You Drop), and Rock of Ages. Those songs put the band on the map (and when the band's drummer still had both arms).
Love Bites is my Fav Def Leppard song. Rock of Ages, Photographs, Rocket and Animal are great too. If you want awesome ballas then try when love and hate collide and have you ever needed someone so bad. Def Leppard started out as a Hard Rock band but as time went by they go softer and more commercial. Hysteria is a great album from start to finish. One of the best albums of the 80s IMO
Hi, nice to see you again! If you want to hear Def Leppard songs with a little more oomph, check out "Demolition Man", "Photograph" or "Rock Of Ages". Have a nice day! 😉
Has everyone noticed that Sinead O'Connor died yesterday. She was 56 years old. May she rest in peace, she has deserved it, her son committed suicide one year ago. She once. sang Mother with Pink Floyd in Berlin, in 1991. A song with lots of emotions, even under normal circumstances.

R.I.P. Steve Clark.
Yes, and RIP Johnny Cash.
That poor dude 😭 he grew up with no support. His father always told him he wasn't good enough. Got in Def Leppard became a drunk had a bestie in Phil. Phil quit drinking and he felt alone again. Sad life for a brilliant musical Man
I grieve for him still. Such a sensitive and beautiful soul. And what a talent with the guitar and his songwriting. They are not the same without him.
Yes. He was Def Leppard. Gone but never forgotten
Steamin' Clark--I remember where I was driving on highway and had to pull over when it came over the Boston hard rock station WAAF..
Great song, great album.
Took them almost 3 years to complete. First Rick Allen got in a car wreck and lost his arm, Mutt Lange, their producer, left as they were putting it together. They waited for Rick to recuperate to finish the record.
It kicks ass.
DEFINITELY 👍 🎊🎉😁 100%
They were targeting more the ladies and the mainstream with this album. Some of us hard rock fans were a little saddened 😰 but love Def Leppard just the same.
True frienship lacking these days.
They also change producer I wish to hear the almost finish album with the one make Total Eclipse of the heart and I'll do anything for love, hope one day they air it!!!!
Mutt met Shania and they went off to ruin country music, forever...
Brings back great memories of my high school days..... Growing up in the 80's was a BLAST!!
The entire album "Hysteria" is one of my favorite albums top to bottom. Every song is amazing. I definitely recommend Animal, Don't Shoot Shotgun, and Run Riot. Great reaction Biss!! ❤🤘
Agree! Such a killer album

@davidcollins897 I agree. If there ever was a album where every song should be reacted to, this is one of them.
All killers, no fillers!
Very under appreciated one of my favorite songs from hysteria is love and affection
I got old, but this never will. ah, the memories!
'Hysteria' (album) came out in 1987... it sold 3 million copies in the US initially, but after the 4th single 'Pour some sugar on me' was released in 1988... its sales climbed to 12 million and saved Def Leppard from financial disaster. Interesting factoid, fren.
When Love And Hate Collide is a song by them that deserves more credit than it gets.
The original demo from roughly 1990 is much better than the re recorded version.
'Bringing on the Heartbreak' and 'Too Late for Love' are probably my 2 favorite Def Leppard songs.
I just turned 65, and this still gives me goosebumps....!
Def Leppard - Armageddon It is a good rocking song I believe you would really like!!!👍
This song title has the same name as the movie about Def Leppard, and how Rick Allan lost his arm. Great movie.
They were my first concert ; in 1980 I was fourteen and saw them warm up a band called Blackfoot fuck I'm old 😂😂😂😂😂❤❤❤
My first concert was Heart in 1977, the day Elvis died, Rick Derringer was the opening act. I was 18,
Holy 💩, I'm ancient. 🤣🤣
@@vernhoke7730 but we old guys still get things done 🤘😂😂😂
My favorite band of the 80s. They are so pretty!

When I first heard this song this is exactly what I thought. Driving while listening to it. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Don't think I've ever heard a bent note coming from Joe Elliot ever. Their sound was so huge! Good times!
Glad you enjoyed it ❤️
Even all these years later Def Leppard can still deliver.
Great reaction Bisscute!
This just isn't my favorite Def Leppard song, it's my favorite song EVER, no matter the genre.

Cool song. Def Leppard has a lot of good songs.
You said you reacted to Pour Some Sugar On Me.
How about Photograph ? Animal ? Two rockers.

One word "Photograph" it's their breakout hit.

My favorite Def Leppard song. The Hysteria album is a masterpiece. And yes, perfect driving music! It's a great song to watch and listen to live.
Congratulations 🎊 👏 💐 🥳 on 200k! Saved this one for this Patrick Swayze- she 's Like the wind
Def Leppard is one of my favorite bands. The songs that get a ton of play on radio stations are great! I love their other songs that don't get as much attention. Hi this Troy responding
I just saw Def Leppard live a couple weeks ago. Put on a hell of a show! Thanks for the reaction.
Rock of Ages is a great song also.
This song is one DL's best songs and my personal fav from them. Great memories from this song and it is as strong now as it was back in the 80s.
Its an amazing group, the drums guy play just whit one arm, and play the drums incredible, I don’t know how he left his arm.
"Imagine imagine, work with me." I love it! 😀😆
I saw them live 2019 and i cry with my girlfriend when they play this song😅
"Animal" is also good. A bit higher energy.
Rest in Peace Steve Clark! It still hurts seeing him from back in the day. Great reaction as always Biss from my favorite band!
Thanks for this Bisscute. I'm watching this with you and not alone in my crazy world. Lots of love from Brit guy in Asia. Def Leppard was really great when I was a school teen.
Another awesome British Band.. As a British kid, I was so proud of the still great Rock Music, that was coming out of England.
It's the same with you Bisscute: Hysteria, when you stream;)
Ballroom dancing in jeans and cowboy boots. What a fun esthetic to set against this beautiful song.
And - as always - R.I.P. to Steve Clark. Thank you for so much of the soundtrack of my youth.
And a shout-out to Rick Allen for cracking on as the God Of Thunder with only one freaking arm, and to his band mates for their patience to let that happen. The wait was ABSOLUTELY more than worth it!
It's one of my favorite songs, Def Leppard is incredible. I really like to see your face when listening to them. You're very sympathetic.
Luv the 80's Rock! Thanks for the listen and taking me back to the Rockin Bands of the 80's! ❤ Luv ya Biss ❤️💛
Thanks for listening
Bringing on the heartbreak is a better song❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Love Bites, Two Steps Behind, Rock of Ages, and Armageddon It are also worth checking out. Trying to keep it even between the ballads and higher energy songs lol.
Saw them live in Dublin in 2019. Absolutely brilliant gig.
Good flashback but did you know that the drummer has one arm, amazing 😮
Nearly choked on my chicken when you said it was 'A laid down, kinda song.' 😅 hehe
Great reaction to a great band and my all time favorite song. The ending part of the song is what does it for me. 😀😃😄😁
Excellent band !!! grew up listening to Def Leppard !!!
There are so many great Def Leppard songs for you to check out! Animal, Rock of Ages, Photograph, Love Bites, Two Steps Behind, and many more.
This one falls more under their rock ballad genre (Their most famous one might be Love Bites from the same album?) and not quite as anthem rock as Pour Some Sugar On me. If you prefer the latter, Armageddon It is a good one.
The thundergod himself !!!! Rick Allen , that man can do more with one arm than we can.
Love Def Leppard, reminds me of my high school years listening to this album with my high school crush.
When I was a kid I played this album on repeat.
My all time favourite band and album i love this song thx for the awesome reaction, cheers from new zealand.
Great reaction choice Miss Bisscute love it as usual💓. Suggestion for future reaction of them: When Love & Hate Collide. it's a very Nice song.
Possibly the best rock song ever
...and "Love bites"!!! Fantastic song!!😍
My favourite song of all time.
Def Leppard has so many amazing songs. Put on such a great concert. ARMAGEDDON IT is my favorite song of theirs. Worth a listen.
Ill write that down
What a tune.
Oh I can feel it and I believe it.
Same - this song came on the radio (1994) immediately after the first time I felt “IT”
"Be with me in the moment"
Hahahahaha, I'll be with you in any moment you want! 😁😎🖤
Haha thanks for watching

Thank you, glad you enjoyed this
O the memories come flooding back with this one! You should consider doing a review of AC/DC you shook me all night long or Thunder struck. The lead singers voice, not something you have ever heard before.
Others... Photograph... Bringing on the Heartache... Animal... plus a deep track staple of their live show... Diehard The Hunter
I enjoy the way Rick Allen use's his feet to make up for the loss of his arm It's commendable😊
Thanks Biss, one of my all time favourite songs.
❤My favorite❤❤Animals, and Armageddon It are bangers too.
Def Leppard has always been one of my favorite bands. You should check out a song by them called "Women" (In the Round In Your Face) version. It's a live version, and it's a great performance. Thanks for continuing with Def Leppard Biss. Another great reaction.
I’ll note it down
I can't hear this song without thinking about cruising around with my late brother in his 67' Coronet.
Nice
You should react to "Rock Of Ages" by Def Leppard. A good rocking song.
The albums Pyromania, Hysteria and Adrenalize are the perfect trilogy to know about Def Leppard! 😉Hysteria is also the last album with guitarist Steve Clark, who will die of alcohol in 1991.
From one of the best albums of the 80s
Nice to see some more Def Leppard. A recommendation I have is doing Photograph by the band and then reacting to Photograph by Santana with Chris Daughtry and compare the two.
Great song Bisscute. Congrats on your subscribers! 🤘🎸🤘
Damn! I just graduated HS and this album started kicking out singles.
You’re absolutely right.
Popping in the tape, windows down on a warm summer night, cruising with friends and singing at the top of your lungs.
It happened.
A lot!
Glad you enjoyed this
For sure one of my favorite rock albums from the 80's
Great reaction
Maybe sample the band 's earlier tracks like Photograph, Rock, Rock ('Til You Drop), and Rock of Ages. Those songs put the band on the map (and when the band's drummer still had both arms).
Love this. Sound almost like a U2 song.
My fav DL song is still Bringing of the Heartbreak. (med-high energy song).
My favorite DL song, puts you in a mellow mood
Bisscute, I am of the opinion that you are the most entertaining and best music reaction person on RUclips.
Awee thank you so much
Had to have this played at my wedding....it is a an absolute gem
Lol it was my wedding song, live version from Bonn Germany
Deff leopard such a great band and a Great song
I agree it's definitely a "lay down song" , I'd love to lay down next to you whilst listening to this song.
Hi Bisscute, The Iron Cross band does a great version of Hysteria.
Takes me back to 1987 driving at night with the windows down.
Nice, good vibes
Great reaction, as always.
Buscute your light is sooo bright.adorable .If you want some high energy def leopard ,look up "Foolin" "Rock of ages"or "Lady strange"
Blood Runs Cold is an overlooked song from them.
Great band all part of the 80s vibe.❤...Bisscute😊
Check out the drummer in that video if you look closely he only has one arm. He lost it in a car accident come back then they made this Album. True friends
