In this video I modernized some words from the King James e.g., waiteth to waits.
I wrote this song about 1980 and a friend overheard me play it on my little guitar and thought it was good. What a blessing encouragement is!
About this time I learned about the benefit of meditating on the word of God with such scriptures as Psalm 1, and John 15:7.
I found that I could put songs to music and found that they would stay in my mind as I went through the day. Back in those days I would record on a cassette player. Now I record new songs on my phone. What I record is very rough in these ways but it is the first step in remembering. I feel that over the years the word has transformed my mind through the scripture that I have put to music. It has been so helpful in times of trouble also. I don't think a person needs any special talent to do this; it is taking the time to do it and a belief that God will use His word in us.
