What I like about Rob is he's committed and passionate for his RUclips rep. He doesn't let negativity in the comments affect his motivation. He's calm, confident, professional with his knowledge, he keeps a clean language and he helps motivate people like me! I've had my growth in fitness and have learned how to feel confidence in my physic without worrying about what other people have and what I don't. It's more important to feel confidence in yourself, rather than trying too hard to get results. I've been there and now I'm feeling more confidence and optimism about my improvement. I'm still learning about my body and what I can do to improve it.

you guys know that feeling when you are at work/school/uni and anticipating going to the gym to work that chest, you are already imagining all the exercises you are gonna do. then you get to the gym, all the benches are occupied, and the dumbells are being used, after waiting 30 mins you finally get a free spot, and you lift, and your chest/tris already start giving in during your warm up, you end up lifting 75% of what you expected to.. then the next day you wake up without any muscle soreness (DOMS) and flat chested like a girl...YAY motivation.

I really enjoyed this. I've been really struggling to effectively squeeze the upper chest and build on my mind to muscle connection during my chest routine. The way you explained the dynamic of your lifting of the weight really helped me to visualise the squeeze more efficiently. You've really helped me find a different path to approach reaching that goal.

right arm / shoulder is obviously weaker ( not a diss ) but you can see a slight dipp on the right side which may cause the overdeveloped left, dumbells will help correct this. the Barbell engages the shoulders and triceps

that workout was great!!! i love all ur explanation... just bc of u i stoped lifting heavy weight with less repetitions that doesn't give me any performance, and i started focusing in the quality, doing it properly, more repetition, and i really see the different now... how about a workout for caves and form arms???

Hey Rob, i've been watching your vids for couple of years now and i finally decided to ask you a question regarding chest. Whenever i do barbell chest press horizontal/inclined narrow grip, larger then shoulder width grip, i feel like my frontal shoulder and tricep work more rather then my chest. But whenever i do dumbell flys or dumbell presses it kills my chest in a way that the next day i can barelly stretch it. I noticed that my chest is bigger from the sides and in my upper chest i don't have that fullness, i can actually see where my middle chest splits from upper one. Can you give me an advice, a suggestion? I normally do 8-12 reps, shall i do more with the barbell? Thank you.

I tried a few of these exercises at the gym for a tester, I found I had two problems, I know I'll get a response saying its either my form, or the way my wrists are placed, but I straightened my wrists (as you should) and still had the problem...
With the reverse barbell bench, I found a lot of the pressure was on my wrists, I tried to straighten them, and then change the angle many of times, but it didn't help!
I also tried the dumbell incline presses and found it incorporated way too much of my triceps; I find that training my chest is the weakest part of my body, could this be a factor?
    Cheers JC
