Our Journey! How did we get here?
In the winter of 2019 we moved in to our self built van full time to begin living, working and travelling Canada. We quickly fell in love with chasing our dreams of adventuring off the beaten path, living off grid and being self sustaining. We drove our van thousands of miles through various countries-Canada, USA, Mexico & Guatemala. All of which we documented here on our channel, be sure to check that out! After many years on the open road we found ourselves 15 acres of remote woods on the East Coast of Canada where we are building a homestead and renovating our fully off the grid cabin. We are diving into this chapter of our lives in no experience, we're so happy we can bring you all along as we learn to do it all with our own two hands. You are absolutely right! It is all about Bella, she is such a strong dog and never shows us if she is in pain, or hurting. So we are so relieved she is healing a little every day. As you know Bella and Izzy are our family. 💛🐶

SUGGESTION: Soften the dogs' kibbles overnight before feeding them. I also have two elderly pups with the same dental issues. Love what you're doing with the place! 💞
plus if you are adding liquids it helps with good hydration. I have a couple of pups that it helps keep their hydration better. Helps keep bladder crystals from forming etc. All 3 of our pups get kibble with a green bean stew to aid in that plus it helps keep our chunky pug (she's 12) and our frenchie boy (just turned 1) last but not least the one who rarely EVER drinks from the water bowl because she's so anxious our app 4 - 5 yr old chug. Also think about raising your girls feed and water bowls, it aids in digestion and helps with aches and pains most older pups have
Avoid KIBBLE!!
Raw food diet will deter the development of lumps and tooth decay. Avoid grains in dog food!

Love watching all the projects you are doing on your cabin. You both have come so far in your talents. I am gluten and dairy free and I would love the recipe for the spinach dip. Can't wait to see what other projects you guys have up your sleeves and all the projects on the newly purchased land.

I can’t believe half the stuff you gals do. The two of you are an inspiration and incredible role model for not just women but everyone both young, old and especially young people. So happy Bella’s biopsy came back negative for cancer. I just went through this with my Aussie Juno. She just turned ten yesterday and she had three lumps. One was on her back where Bella’s is and that was removed and the other two were are watching as they appeared after the first one was removed. It can be tough having a senior dog when that dog practically grew up with you as a young adult. So thankful for Juno always being by my side. Love the kitchen transformation! Thanks for bringing us along on this journey of transforming your property

The two of you are so inspiring! I am seriously so glad I found this channel. You two have changed my life. I used to think as a single woman I was stuck renting for life. Instead I have a van. It will be paid off in 2026 and then I will start saving money to someday buy a little piece of land somewhere. Worst case scenario I always have a roof over my head. The confidence this has also helped me find... Priceless!!

Hi Bella! I'll bet that you feel SO much better after that dental work. My Papillon had some similar problems, and after her bad teeth were removed about a year ago, it was so obvious that her life was greatly improved. Take care, and paws up to you 🐾 and your sister 🐾 !
And...to your moms: Great work on your cabin and getting something 100% done. I remember when I was working on my cabin, my brother-in-law visited and asked, "Do you ever FINISH anything?" 😄

Remember to let Clementine's glow plug heat cycle finish before trying to start her. The colder it is, the more important this is to do. Turn the ignition key on far enough to turn on the dash lights without trying to start her. The glow plug indicator lamp will remain on until glow plugs hit temp. Once the indicator glow plug light shuts off, Clementine should be good to start. Please remember to let her run for ten to twenty minutes to warm up before using.
I tried looking up your hoodies, but I only saw up to large on the site. I'm a XXL- tall, so I was hoping the three would fit. But no luck finding...

I used micro cement to redo ugly counters probably 10 years ago and it came out amazing plus it was super durable. Now I'm in a new to me home and getting ready to do it in this house too. Cheers ladies, you're rocking it!!
Looks great. Foam insert to window track, when open, keeps food and liquids out, reduces clean up.

not finishing the trim or the sockets in the rest of the house is so relatable sometimes it's just a huge hump to even get anything done then those little details nag and nag forever. also relatable is having the clean and messy partner and one puts in the prep work because they know how much it sucks cleaning 😅 sorry jaz calling you out

As i watch your videos you girls never cease to amaze me with how you implement your unique ideas! I would suggest getting a stud finder tool for any future inside projects. I also would like to suggest growing Aloe Vera plants. They have many healthy benefits. We use to break off a branch and squeeze out the inside as we rubbed it on insect bites to relieve the itching.

I am so glad to hear your dog is OK. We had literally the exact same thing happened with our German Shepherd? We couldn't figure out why her breath was so bad and when we took her into the vet she had to have the same sort of surgery on her teeth. When we asked about why we didn't notice the dog was in pain the veterinarian explained that dogs will not show that they are in pain or injured if they can because it's a survival trait? We felt pretty bad but she was a completely different dog once her teeth were healed and she started to feel better it was great. Hope the same for you guys! Thanks as always for the great videos! Here in Spain we get to enjoy all the great things you guys are creating and we really appreciate that!

You’ve built an amazing home there. It’s rather a wonderful place and now you’ve got the other property with the lake I’d suggest something like a sauna/solarium and store cabin for lake toys like a paddleboard, or Haaglund multitracked vehicle (whatever floats your boat as it where) so keep it up and can’t wait to see what happens next.

Literally just had the same situation with our little Maltese a couple weeks ago....made us feel terrible 😢 Buddy recovered quick, and now doesn't have stinky breath ❤
