Our Journey! How did we get here?
In the winter of 2019 we moved in to our self built van full time to begin living, working and travelling Canada. We quickly fell in love with chasing our dreams of adventuring off the beaten path, living off grid and being self sustaining. We drove our van thousands of miles through various countries-Canada, USA, Mexico & Guatemala. All of which we documented here on our channel, be sure to check that out! After many years on the open road we found ourselves 15 acres of remote woods on the East Coast of Canada where we are building a homestead and renovating our fully off the grid cabin. We are diving into this chapter of our lives in no experience, we're so happy we can bring you all along as we learn to do it all with our own two hands. Starting my Sunday with you has become my favorite weekly routine. Regarding Max's hair, not a fan of mullets. Regarding him traveling all that way to help you, he's a hero.

The level of investment in your own pet projects is what turbo boosts the brain and muscles.
The time it took for all of y'all to put in that one piece was fun but would have been more fun laying out in the sun on the deck revelling in each other's company cos like Jaz aptly put it, 'I never get to see these guys'.
Loved the pizza party! The walk to the water & watching the fur babies swimming and having fun.

I've experienced some of the benefits of counseling and therapy both in a group setting and 1 on 1. I'm a huge advocate for those things even things that have helped me with my trauma and grief like celebrate recovery. I've experienced mentorship both a giving and receiving thing too. Bless you guys.

To Jaz and christie what a great job your doing with your off grid cabin. You two have done better then any two guys i know. Take time for yourselves. I know from experience what happens when you work all the time. My late husband and i bought a 1949 International bus. Gutted it, raised the roof 2 feet, painted it and lived in it. Before i married him he lived off grid ( after he came back from Vietnam. I learned alot and if i was younger off grid would be my choice.

Ya all are doing amazing job. WOW. Happy Birthday Month!!!!! and mental health is hugely overlooked. I have been helping my friend with her anxiety for the past four months and have made HUGE strides. I have her seeing a therapist and she is so glad i have been there for her.

It seems so mad that a couple of weeks ago I was watching Max's video at the cabin and being introduced to the Pack for the first time and I just had to see the transformation from start to finish. Its so incredible what you have built yourselves and how far you have come.

I’m so excited!! I haven’t watched in a while so I get to binge your last 4 videos!!! I feel like I’ve won the lottery! Watching your adventures always makes me feel more confident in my own decision to live in a van. Although I will probably spend at least part of this winter living indoors. Whitehorse can get colder than -40 and then the diesel goes a lot faster. 😬😬 So I stay with my folks and pay them by doing their errands and shopping so they don’t have to go out in the extreme cold.

Trying to work after a late night with friends is sooooo much harder now! Then again, waiting tables feeling crap does not have the same penalty price for a screw up that construction work has. Better to chill and enjoy friends than screw up materials (or humans). So great to see everyone!
