This video was very helpful I am heading over to check out your website now. Thanks for making this available. I am considering a job that will require me to stand stationary for the most part. Your tips have helped me in deciding what's possible in that new position.
+Julia Hunsinger thank you so much for sharing with me that the tips were helpful I might even have an impact in choosing your job. I do hope the help. :-)
I’m a construction worker for the last 11 years & you would think I would be used to it by now , everyday by the 4-5 hour mark into my 8 hour shift my feet feel like they’re on fire ! Everything below my waist is sore everyday ... legs , calves but my feet take the cake . When I get home I can barely take a step without grunting & groaning in pain.
I'm a chef and boy oh boy my dogs be barking they hurt so bad when I get home I can't even walk to my bed sometimes its because the pain is unbelievable I am here because I can't get out the chair
Ein Kun same thing here, i work hours on hours. Drink water, good amount of sleep and strech before work a little and before going to sleep. also get soles for your work boots or shoes, not any regular ones but the ones with a gel
I think that you've just saved me from losing my job! 😌 It requires that I stand for long periods of time and do several tasks throughout the day(Preparing food, answering calls, working the cash register, etc.) I work at a restaurant. The foot stretches definitely help. I've noticed an immediate energy boost(partly due to the foot circulation being increased). When the feet are too "tight", it does seem to have a cascading effect over the rest of the body(That's the case for me, anyway). My feet get warm, they become more sore, and because I'm moving even less....I could end up feeling tired to the point of wanting to take a nap. Thank you so much, and I owe you a lot because I think that by giving this advice, you'll make work feel more enjoyable ;)
Hello! I've had a desk job for 11 years I stepped out into a job where o stand now. I wish I'd would have stayed at the desk job. I'm gonna conquer this foot pain!
I work in a grocery store, typically 6 hours 4-5 days a week. Sadly I can’t do all of these moves because we’re so busy (customer after customer, no break between them) but I’ll definitely try some. Thank you for this.
Stretching in the morning after waking up helps me. I also massage my feet with castor oil which is anti-inflammatory and wrap my feet loosely with plastic wrap then put on socks. In the morning the swelling is down and my feet feel better 😁
I work in KFC at weekends and I am on my feet for over 9 hours solid and I am also a student nurse on placement Monday to Friday so I am on my feet constantly and I am in agony all the time. The only thing that helps me is a hot bath with epsom salts which I have to have after every shift otherwise I literally can't walk. Hopefully these exercises help me xx
I work at McDonalds and dk a 7 hour shift 4 days a week and I get hella bored sometimes and also my back near the waist side hurts so much after 4 hours into my shift 😭😭
I am a waitress and I'm on my feet all day, my shift patterns can be from 6 to 10 hours on my feet an I work in a very busy bar/restaurant I've only been doing it for two years and already I suffer from plantar fasciitis and swollen feet and ankles (iv only turned 30 an feel like I have 70yr old feet lol). mornings are the worst when my feet has stiffened up over night an I feel like im walking like a penguin for the first few minutes. I've suffered with this for over a year now and I'm at the point where I'm actually in the middle of changing my job role to less hours an less running around for long period of time because it is affecting me daily. it's not nice to live with, I can't even wear heels no more when I go out to nice places 😭 is massaging them daily or even putting them in a bowl of lukewarm water any good and will it help them from swelling up and calm the pain. doctors have just told me to take it easy 😔
Dear Lisa- Marie, this sounds incredibly painful :( We do have a lot of resources in our membership community for feet including connective tissue classes for your feet, which slowly over time I believe would help. I do think soaking in warm water would be helpful - but be sure to add epsom salts. I would also seek out further medical advice... find a good rolpher or a good osteopath. Namaste, Melissa
Lisa-Marie ozley the best part is to come home late at night and just jumping on to ur bed and letting ur feet just be there doing it’s own thing but yeah in the morning it sucks
@Guardian Of Texas I completely understand I'm 22 years old I just broke my ankle recently and started back working I have been working for the last 2 to three months and I Stand up all day in the same spot and I walk like a old lady like I broke my knee or something so now I walk like that everyone say I look like I need a walker

I work in a warehouse, 12 hour shift. Always on my feet. Walking around the warehouse constantly. Can’t sit cause there is too much to do but damn my feet hurt
i use my hips all the time i ride horses and the resin im watching this video is because i am helping with a summer camp at my equestrian center (horse riding barn) have a great day everyone :)
Wear a waist belt.. the obliques usually give out nd that will fatigue ur spinal disks eventually the disks will crumble and lessen. Hence why with age people get shorter is is bcz the spinal disks have worn out.. the core works to stabilize the body but it will not maintain u for 12hours long without rest if ur employed.. I haven't begun the experiment but I truly believe a waist band would stabilize u it's optimal and crucial even so if u plan on being at ur work place for more years
Iam a personal trainer i stand for 8 hrs a day, and got pain in my right knee, i think i got that pain by doing squats on smith machine, i don't know if i have any ligament issue, what should i do?
thank you for a safer healthier lifestyle, I love what I do but unfortunately my feet have started to hurt more than usual, practicing these exercises on your channel, have helped me.
I wear the Jewish boot for ten hours a day and when I get home I want to disinfect myself because I'm afraid I will catch something and then I laugh to myself when I realize it's in the blood!

@@roshinikanhai686 your back not being aligned can cause pressure and weight to shift on one side more than the other ...
