I didn’t really catch that theme either. Of course, I found the movie so cringe that I was fighting the temptation to drive to my mother’s house, steal all of her weed, and smoke myself into a new dimension, so…maybe that’s why it went over my head.

Barbie in " The Swan lake " is special to me because it was the last Barbie movie who came out when I was still a child (I was 10)

And some were neither, such as the Fairytopia series (had ballet elements early on but abandoned them later), Three Musketeers, Thumbelina and A Christmas Carol (I don't count carols as songs). After that the whole franchise kind of diversified further and abandoned musicals all-together with A Mermaid Tale, Fashion Fairytale, and Princess Charm School, all the way up till Princess and the Popstar to bring back musicals.

Edit: I just started the video and I have to say that 20 degrees or 27 degrees (our max this summer) might not sound hot to any other country, but that's when my body gives up from the heat in Scotland and then you never get used to the cold when it comes back in autumn

I love how much this is a gay movie. I seriously doubt the creaters were this intentional when making the movie, but come on a rainbow that only the girls rode on. They live together and run a business, plus they never show an ounce of attraction towards the guys. The creaters had to of known something when they made this. I really enjoy this because I didn't watch this as a kid, so I have no bias towards any these characters sexual orientation.

This feels bittersweet. My grandma and me would always buy the newest Barbie movies and watch them together whenever I would spend the night. Or we would just rewatch the old ones before bed. She had passed away early December and I miss her so much.. I love watching your Barbie movie reaction videos because, of course it’s Barbie!, but also because it reminds me of my grandma. P.S. Fair warning that you probably don't need by now, most Barbie movies are musicals. Not all of them, but a good amount of them are. But ngl, a lot of Barbie songs are bops.

Why are they wearing crowns in the "wrong" colors at the end? To represent their friendship (or more) to each other, by wearing a piece in the color of the other one's dress.^^
i get the annoyance with the crowns and necklaces not matching their outfits but i will also raise the point that the different colors symbolize each other so like neither one of them would be the person they are without each other- personally i am definitely on board with the people who read this movie as gay and i think that while like, yeah the stuff with melody and the dogs and those guys were all kind of tedious, i really appreciate the sort of tenderness that those two have for each other and i appreciate that this movie allowed myself and others to see that sort of thing as kids
