People commenting: This is a training video, not a real emergency. It's a simulation to demonstrate procedures.
To the video creators: VERY well done. Thank you.
I love how the fireman stumbles after going down the pole
Same lol
I love how the passenger in the beginning slides off their seat.
our boy has been crew for almost 4 years now. Been there, done that, read the manual, No one thinks the training is really like this, but it IS
We know

7:18 everybody thought "the fire danger" was over then comes this bad surprise with the wheels! Well handled but this is just a training. In reality, people scream, cry loudly and maybe even running around. Very good video!
Fully agree!

Very well done video, a lot of training videos are boring, this one was fantastic! Engaging and informative.
4:02
Seatbelt sign- am I a joke to you?
Thing was off
4:17 Great running action 4:03 rip girl and why the pilots won't use the brk fan 4:15 atc look hyped
Because the break fan won't work without electric power provided by the engine's generators or the APU. In this video, after the aircraft stopped, they shut down both engines and the plane switches to battery power which only provides electricity to the essentials (emergency lighting, captain's pfd, radio,...) ;)
Hi, not all Airbuses have the brake fans installed (They are optional when ordered and very expensive) Their function is actually to cool the brakes off during normal short flight tun arounds between flight so that the brakes are below 300 degrees Celsius for the next take off. Airlines that do not do many short turn arounds between flight do noot need the brake fans installed.
Cheers channel again filming the video
YESSSS I WAS WAITING FOR THIS!!!!
A lot of work went into this video

I work for BA and the evacuations were to slow and communication with the flight deck isn’t enough other than that I feel extremely safe getting on a SAA flight
Thanks Louis. It feels slow when you watch the videos. I tried to make them as close to real time as possible to see if the SOPS actually works out. Comms to and from the Pilots was as per our SOPS, designed not to interfere with each others duties. The biggest lessons learned from these videos were that it is imperative for the cockpit and cabin to know when and where the required information must be shared and when the other person will be on the PA so that you don't "step" on each other over the PA. I do agree that if more information is required then there must be more comms, this was however scripted as per SOP. An evacuation can be very dangerous if done too hastily, the decision is easy if you can actually see a fire, else you better communicate very well and make very sure before giving the command. In a real case 10 seconds will feel like 'n very long time to the Crew and passengers (it actually feels much shorter than 10 seconds to the cockpit crew under stress), which is why the Capt must remember to reassure the cabin at regular intervals to stand by. Regards.
this is so funny but amazing

Well done great video !!
I like how u used xplane for some parts of the video
Reversers and speed brakes are not used in a rejected takeoff, only the brakes so the full weight of the aircraft is on them.
4:03 She just slipped out.
I’m literally whatching this before I take of on a flight
PUT YOUR PHONE OFF YOU CAN'T USE IT ON A PLANE WHEN IT'S TAKING OFF
Excellent video. One important aspect was missed in my opinion, which is telling the passenger to evac WITHOUT TAKING THEIR LUGGAGEs.
Excellent point, thanks.
nice!
4:03 *floppy thing at car dealer*
BRUH
Nice
OKAY SO TURN CAPTIONS ON AND WHEN THEY ARE SAYING BRACE BRACE GET YOUR HEADS DOWN, THE CAPTION READS, MUSIC
Who else found it funny when the firefighter almost fell😂😂

LOL IT WAS FUNNY AS HELL
Really interesting video. I know nothing and I suspect this training video was “by the book”, but as a total layperson they seemed slow to evacuate. I would have thought better to evacuate sooner and wish they hadn’t than do so later and wish they had, but I appreciate evacuations are themselves not without risk.
ชอบมากเลย

omaygats 😱😱
7:22 omg that was the funniest thing
That was so good
When you see engine is on fire they should get everyone out ASAP after they said it's fine fire is out that time everyone should be out but they don't allow them before the smoke comes from wheel they could get out
I worked in the Fire Dept. and then I was a flight attendant. This has only happened ONCE in a lifetime. The pilot said “Flight Attendant Noah, Please report to the flight deck. I had told him I worked in the Fire Dept. and he told me to help the Firefighters 😯.
And land, and extinguish the fire
Opening sound reminds me of Play Station 1 opening sound
I got frightened my tummy was shaking i was so scared

The cabin crew: REMAIN SEATEN RELEASE SEATBELT!
And now: in the edit they say it this way: *!TLEBTAES ESAELER NETAES NAIMER*
Yes
Woah.
4:18 when i am late for school
Ok is 50% so cool
Question: Why are there different (opposite) orders when it comes to seatbelts? At 5:00 they’re saying to release seatbelts (I’ll assume to make an evacuation easier) but then at 6:56 they say to put seatbelts back on, even though they’re not out of the danger zone yet. With the possibility of an evacuation still there, why would they require seatbelts to be fastened again?
(I am not a crew member) Likely because of risk of 7:20?
(Also not flight crew) It was because the fire light went out they went back to normal procedures for a traditional takeoff
Hi Rosy. At first the engine fire was either contained or they were preparing for an actual evacuation so they released seatbelts to get everyone ready for a possible evacuation. Then later the brakes got so hot that a new emergency arose. These tires can actually deflate or explode quite violently and cause people to bump their heads and injure themselves, thus better to buckle up again until die Aircraft is safe or until and actual evacuation is called (Risk management). If the passengers are not buckled up they will start to up endangering other pax and themselves. (Crown control)
