“Be prepared to improvise, using beverages….” Shows a little wee bottle of water. I wouldn’t be surprised if todays FAA officials said “USE URINE IN A LAST DITCH EFFORT” 🤣🤣🤣
1/ Put anytime anyway your PBE before fighting or locating the fire source. 2/ After putting down with halon computer / lithium fire, spread water/liquide to cool down or the otherwise fire will FOR SURE RE-IGNITE. Do not use ice cube or dry ice !
@@yt74101 ... You do put water on a lithium BATTERY fire. Absolutely you do. Use a water extinguisher, pour drinking water, sodas, juice, coffee,. Pee on it. Whatever it takes. You even submerge the battery or device in water in a bucket if you can. Batteries generate their own source of hear that creates a thermal runaway. You need to cool that down, just extinguishing the fire won't work. It would just re-ignite itself again, and again, and again.
That scene when showed fire in bathroom look almost like it could cause backdraft with access to unpressurized section of plane from pressurized cabin cause fire jumped under lavatory toilet to under sink why keep opening door to get in without any safety gloves and face protection from fire that was going right towards face even fighting one above under ceiling ?Why don’t flight attendants have any safety gloves or gown even connect to face protection? I am surprised that there’s no fire surpression system?
It's crazy how fast these masks tighten around their heads at 12:49, this shit looks ahead of it's time compared to the rest of the technologies in this video.
Rick gets it off with a key ... we were told to get it off with an axe ... with a key ist just better for the airline... since you’re not destroying the panel.. Whatever
"Here, use this spoon to cut through that wall!"
*USE THIS SPORK TO CUT THAT PANEL OPEN!*
*USE THIS KNITTING NEEDLE TO OPEN THAT DOOR!* 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
“Knifes, spoons, etc from the galley”
*bro, this was after 9/11, we don’t have any knifes or utensils onboard flights anymore!*
fantastic!
This takes me back to my days as a flight attendant with northwest
whats really funny is the items he listed to break open panels are no longer allow
ed on aircraft
Thanks Crazy TSA!!
Nicely described
Thanks
Great!!

LOL LLOL LOL
Awake with your life, lo!z
couldn't care less
3:02 he has not listened for no smoking
Love how calm they are, in reality youd hurl from the smell of a whole plane of people shitting themselves
Looks like they used an old United 747-200 to film this.

Have this ever happened in the middle of the Atlantic?
Middle, I don't believe so. The closest is the SwissAir accident due to a criminally faulty aftermarket entertainment system.
@@jst7714Swissair 111 and that one didn’t make it back
Use knives or sewing needles to cut through paneling, yeah right not in the post 9/11 world
In the flight deck there is a crash axe for emergancy even still have em now

While the flight attendants have to wear some crap that looks like aluminum foil with a barely visable wrinkled saran wrap looking viewing area. Haha
a fire ext on a plane should NEVER have a pin! should be a red tab you flick up to allow you to use it. silly!!!
a
can't pilots carry leathermans?
Yes
What does FAA mean anyway?

This couldn’t have helped to put the fire out of SAA 295
Outdated

Poor resolution and out dated curriculum.
Hooray for those 17 to 35 year olds. 🙄 Where are all the old people, the children, the disabled, the obese? 😡
clearly you have never flown on an aircraft...
Cool
