To anyone now nervous of flying, staff are trained for every situation it’s unbelievable, focus on how staff are so calm because they know they’ll be okay, it’s more dangerous to be in a car than on a plane and bad stuff with planes barely ever happens, right now there’s over 1 million planes in the sky :)

During my training we did a full simulation where all engines and hydraulics had failed, and the passengers were all civilian volunteers. The whole experience felt so real that I cried a little in the bathroom after training 😅
Ditto we had smoke .....oxygen masks... a dark cabin ....stretcher cases etc

@@ok-pv1iz think of it as being somewhat similar to a soldier or something.... Would u consider being a doctor (not in aspects of subjects but I'm talking about the risk) in a war or something? Try to first imagine yourself in a very real situation where everyone around you is panicking and u are responsible for their safety, if u think u can sacrifice enough for passengers and can take the intense load, also shifts with unusual timings, can handle staying away from ur loved ones and friends for idk how much time, (also crew members might change often) ...if u are willing to handle these, then u might want to join it. I mean... U should be confident, and although it's rare, u should be looking at both sides as just thinking positive that all your flights would land safely isn't really helpful (i hope they do though) ... Also it would mean that u won't like to take the risk and responsibilities in a hard situation.
If u are patient, witty in certain situations, passengers' safety is ur priority, then i guess u should go for it. Be brave enough. It should be a really respectable job if u think about it and it takes some qualities to earn it :)

Awesome and very insightful words , Well i will also say this here... Even as the world still experience slow recovery in terms of economic meltdown due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak, it is best advised to find another alternative to make good income.

People who give up in life are people who lose in life, my first experience happens to be a failure but I never gave up cause I knew it was going to work out for me trying continuously, fortunately I'm smiling today by getting involved in investment .

This video is really well made. The only thing is that an emergency will NEVER be this organized. People sitting in their seats until the captain calls evacuate? LOL no. people will be trampling over seats over you, your ABPs will probably run immediately to open the doors even if you are still able to do it. This is definitely how the cabin crew will act, but not the passengers.

Training is very severe, but let me tell you, it does prepare you for the worst that could happen. About 2 years ago, I had to unfortunately be in a situation like this, however, luckily all of our crew members were well-trained. Everyone evacuated safely and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I don't mind studying different procedures, from different airlines or different approaches to the same EMERGENCY , Your post has added more knowledge and awareness to what i have, and we all know that it's never enough.
allow me to contribute, it may be known to some of you or not, none the less allow me :
"30 seconds review"
1) Brace for impact - remind your safest position - COMMAND other ppl safest position -"HEAD DOWN HEAD DOWN"
2)PANIC CONTROL (control your panic and other ppl PANIC)
3)JUDGEMENT (Unsafe DOOR/EXIT , most suitable and safe escape route)
4) COORDINATION (we are all in the same situation , coordinate yourself with crew , and coordinate other ppl...etc)
5)EVACUATION
as a CREW remind COMMANDS
as a Passenger remember what the CREW instructed and demonstrated
COPYING is not WRONG if it allow to save YOURSELF and others .
There is a lot more to what i wrote... no advises are enough.

"Senior cabin crew cabin member report to the flight deck immediately" and all crew just disappear out of the cabin... enough to panic passengers already. Takes a while before anyone actually re-assures the passengers.... luckily passengers are very calm and no-one screaming ;-)
