I was about your sons age and he would give me the yoke and tell me to fly the airplane. Tragically my dad passed away when I was very young so he never got to teach me to fly. My ten year old grandson took off and landed a 172 while I sat in the back seat. The EXCELLENT pilot was awesome in his instructions, while I nervously sat with my granddaughter next to me. After the flight, he said he would like to be a pilot. I wish I would have gotten the young pilot's name. Note: He had full control of everything.

When I was a kid growing up, my dad patrolled natural gas pipelines for a living, flying Cessna 182s, 210s, and 337s. We flew with him a lot in those days. This is so reminiscent of the times I'd fly with my dad, and the times he would let me have the controls. Great memories!

I used to own 1/3 share in a plane and took a trip to Florida from Ohio and during that trip both of my daughters had a chance to fly the plane from the right seat. I was still in control but they had the controls and actually flew the aircraft for a few minutes.

Nice! My 17 year old is a pilot flying his second plane. Knew he was going to fly at 4. Wasn’t lucky enough to have a rich dad who had a plane but he’s highly gifted non the less and will be flying commercial in just a few years!!

After the flight, he said he would like to be a pilot. I wish I would have gotten the young pilot's name. Note: He had full control of everything.

When I was a kid growing up, my dad patrolled natural gas pipelines for a living, flying Cessna 182s, 210s, and 337s. We flew with him a lot in those days. This is so reminiscent of the times I'd fly with my dad, and the times he would let me have the controls. Great memories!
