    Thanks again for the videos. What most people don't realize is, its a group of components that let you utilize all the available power of one certain component in a build. So throwing on a big valve head can actually hurt if you don't have all the other goodies to go with it. Those 1.3 ratio rockers probably gonna wake that thing up alot. Can't wait for the rest of this series.

    For that combo to work right you will
    Need the stroker crank the 5.595 rod with the piston at 0 deck height 1.3 rockers 28 mm velocity stack carb and a pvl coil I have the 72 mm tilli with this same setup and it makes 27 hp on a water dyno nothing touches this motor it really needs the crank Paul recommends it all goes hand in hand he has spend un numbered hrs developing what works and it really does work. As far as getting work or parts from him just plan on a little wait the guy is swarmed with work he’s about 4 months out on the wait list but we’ll worth the wait😊

    So stoked to see this finally. I know it's not the gains that people were expecting but I think once the right ratio rockers are in there and a carb that's closer to the intake valve size then it should wake it up. I'd try a 28mm carb with at least a 130-135 main to start along with a pulse pump. I think the 24mm is choking it up. And it sounded like it was running out of fuel. Im running a pulse pump with a 26mm round slide on a ported non hemi stock valve head and it made a big difference over the vm22 that I had on it with no pump. I love your videos though. Always have a chill vibe and great info. Keep it up man.

      The 26mm round slide nibbi woke my 212 non hemi up tremendously over the 24mm d slide I had on it.

      I have a 22 mm on a 212 hemi and I’m able to empty the bowl faster than gravity can feed it. So a full throttle pull will run it out of fuel in 45-60 seconds. Definitely needs a pump.

    Yeah man I look at Paul’s stuff all the time when I’m putting ideas together for my builds and possible future projects but I just can’t afford 4-700 for head. I mean I see the value because Paul is a perfectionist and obsessed with marking everything exactly to spec and put his own twists on everything. He definitely deserves what he asks for his work but hot damn, no way my wife would allow me to live if she knew what I already have been spending to build mine and my daughters bikes let alone add insane shit like $700 heads on it. You can swoop a 32/28 from OMB with the valves included and who doesn’t already have valve springs and keepers laying around already so you just drop that in hopefully you saved up some ratios and that’s that. Lil elbow grease porting the intake and your on the way to hurting feelings on the road

    Paul’s motors are also made to
    Make peak power past 8500 rpm with that cam and it makes a huge difference trust me I know my motor uses a completely different gear combo than anything I’ve ever used but like I said the motor breaths more air like double so
    It needs more rpm

    You gotta try this with a 28mm VM Flat slide vs the TM24 Flatslide back to back and see how much different it feels and how much better it performs.

    You're missing a few very important things here that are keeping you from making full power. Fully port match your intake and exhaust to the head (smooth and progressive blening) for propper flow, at those RPMs billet connecting rod and flywheel (ARC has build in 32° advance) are highly recommended if for nothing other than safety, Proper ignition timing (advance) will greatly improve power output over the majority of the powerband, fuel delivery (Jet size) Type (high octane or methanol) and supply pressure (Pulse pump with a regulated fuel return line off the supply line.) And lastly crank case ventilation. You are making the engine fight itself by running one tiny breather off the valve cover to a catch can. (Reccomend 2 breather lines to catch can) There should also be lines running from the valve cover to the side cover to equlize crank case pressure and allow oil drain back under high rpm. Hope this helps and gives you some ideas to try.

    Hey , love your videos keep them coming, question I have a coleman ct200u ex mini bike I just recently put put a series 30 torque converter on I like the speed of it but I miss having the torque from a dead stop that I had with the jackshaft setup, Is there anyway I can have the torque of the jack shaft but the speed of the torque converter both in one package, I was thinking of adding a juggernaut clutch to this setup any ideas?

      Thanks! The Juggernaut will make a difference . That might be good enough . You can always add a 60 rear sprocket like in the CT200U-EX video with a straight chain. The bike was just as fast with a 60 tooth as it was with 50 tooth because it put the engine in the optimal RPM band for the cam being used.

    This is not really related to the video but I can’t find out the problem with it. I recently picked up a predator ghost but the Throttle will not return. I tried giving it more slack which fixed the return issue but then it would give itself throttle when I wasn’t touching it, and it would try to drive itself away. Do you have any idea on what to do?

    Maybe try adjusting clutch engagement? I’ve always thought about how it engages and engaging too much would bog the engine and to little would let the engine free rev at a higher RPM . Unless it’s a high hp build like this, maybe up the rpm🧐 just a thought

    When did you purchase you parts from Pauls Karts and how long did it tale for your parts to arrive?

      Mine took 3 weeks. Big valve head with welded intake tube and epoxy port. It's the single best mod that you can do on a predator as far as I'm concerned.

      Hes already well over 12:1 compression ratio with a 14cc head with a flattop piston nearly flush with the deck. He ought to run highest pump gas available along with octanium booster at a minimum. I think 28mm Flatslide with at least a 130 main is what’s needed. Would be ideal to test 130 and 135 main back to back and log the data.

      @@562jamesj Check out the Mega Moto playlist I have rum octane booster. The jetting will be different for everyone. I live at 3700 foot elevation. I generally use a smaller main jet.
