Dam RiP blacks phone 😢 that kart is the BEAST
As a someone who used a fair few copper head gaskets, I recommend you check the torque on the head once you get a little bit of time on it. It'll loosen up as the copper softens from running and compresses.
Paul’s kart is so underrated, I love his content and products
He built me a nasty head for my small block. He takes a little time, but it's well worth the wait.
Best channel on RUclips hand's down
Thanks!
YES PLEASE do a top speed and share what gearing!👍
Lol you just listed all my old stomping grounds. Raced 50s at star west raced on Perris dirt oval wake boarded all the time at lake smells some more. Worked in Corona and riverside lived in Hemet for 10 years. Funny I've been in Alabama the last 7 years so didn't see that coming haha. Great video as usual. Keep it going.
That’s a sick go kart, and you didn’t even get on it to it’s full potential. Catch you on the next one.
My heart dropped with the phone. Great video i would like to see more on this too
Hey Marge, there goes that crazy man that likes to ride toys again
Awesome stuff black 66!, that motor and kart is bad ass! And so is that taco bike!! Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to top speed runs with it on the kart and the bike👍
My favorite build yet! Good video. Sorry about your phone though
Awesome!!
Sounds mint. That’s gona be a runner for sure
Thanks! I used the 263 in the GPS 180 race. Check it out... ruclips.net/video/M0HLe8bb6kE/видео.html
thanks for linking the video! didn’t know that ec made rods for the 58mm cranks that you didn’t need to clearance the block for. it’ll come in handy for my friend alec’s 224
You must have cool neighbors😅
no cops every 6 blocks with nothing to do... like here.
man those 263's are rippers...going to have to make that next on the list.
That Pauls Kart head combustion chamber needs to be opened up to unshroud the valves (Paul recommends this) especially with that 76mm piston. You will get even better throttle response and quicker to top speed
I hear ya, with the very very small bike im putting this engine on I think I really need to do the opposite an DE-tune the thing to make it a little slower. LOL 👍 I'm knda re thinking putting the 263 on such a small bike.
@@Black66 you need to try it! Lol
Been waiting for this to pop up on my phone!!
I LOVE YOUR CONTENT I'm building a tillotson 212 bike in 2 months, you inspired me! (also, 14cc head would be 19.79:1 compression ratio, is that even possible???)
Thanks! The piston being in the hole a little and the thickness of the head gasket bring it down some. It's almost like a diesel lol
Have a Tillotson T4 kart I ran a 236cc on. Easily cleared 70mph at my local track.
Lost that engine when my compression release exploded. Average rpm across the lap was 7,000. 😅
@Ace_nsr Yes, race engines really shouldn't have the compression release. Mine just exploded from the force from spinning over at 9,000 rpm ever lap.
If you run lower like, 7,000 rpm or so, it should last awhile. Mine made it maybe 2 hours.
WOW that puppy's fast.
we used to have batting cages and go cart track in our town by the triple screen drive in. not no more. and they hate minibikes, but love the e scooters and e bikes. at least you hear me coming, and ebike dont even hum
Great content , what clutch and gearing are you running ?
What cam? Didn't see a specific listing for the 263 stroker on the Dyno Cams site. Great channel, awesome content. Thx!
Thanks! it's the 224 cam line up on the Dyno cam web site . They are designed for the 58MM stroke .
This is Exactly what I was thinking of doing for my kart or doodlebug! Maybe you can answer a question I've asked others about with no answer, why did you drill the side cover vs just using the governor hole that's already there?? Keep up the great content!
Thanks! The governor hole is plugged from the factory and would need to be drilled . Also I have a plate that bolts over the governor hole for the pulse pump. I'll put it on ijn a later video.
Hey, if you got $2100 to build what he did in this video, give me a job 😂🤣
@@larrytemen4789 Yes, this is a buget build for a 263. Normally with the fogerd crank and head your looking at $3500 and up.
How fast will it go? We gotta know!
Yet another great video...sucks about your phone though...😂😂 I'm not so sure about using your wife's oven though...just make sure you do it if you do when she's out of town! 🤣🤣🤣😘🥰
Hurry with the top speed on the cart... I want to see this on a bike. 0-30 and top speed!!!! Would like to see it on a bigger bike like a mega moto 212 or coleman bt200x.
Hell ya!
really want to build a gokart or mini bike
Thinking about building one but would like to know what cam you chose
You remember Murphy Bros Racing in the 80s and up? Go-Carts
They sound familure. My Dad would probably know them .
You should do a review on the mega moto 212 complete kit from gopowersports
ruclips.net/video/VbcpA0jdSIw/видео.html
Top speed run on the cart
@Black66 What coil did you use? You had it on the parts table before you started building the 263cc engine. 😅😄😄
I want one.
Stock length billet rod mod 2 cam 24mm mukini carburetor 10k rpm cast iron flywheel 22 lbs valve spring in a non hemi predator 212 ..... What to set my flywheel and valve lash too
where is the oil hole in the oil dipper to force feed oil to the rod journal???? yes it has the hole in the bearing... but no hole in the bottom of the oil dipper????
You must be talking an ARC rod...
So awesome you put it on the kart first. I wonder if you put the 3d manual clutch on it depending on gear ratio it would def light them up I can't imagine the torque that thing makes. Awesome build can't wait to see the next video, What ratio do you run and what clutch? It was really cool seeing the build, what was jetting like? I know your at elevation always curious what a plug is supposed to look like on one of these. Mine were always sooty till I put a e.22 E3 spark plug made huge difference.
I would like to try the 3D on there. I might do that. The gear ratio was a 18/55 in this video . I'll do some more tuning on it and try to get a top speed video. I like the E3 plug myself. Good plug.
Does that kit have a zero deck height when assembled or is the piston down in the bore a little bit
Black 66, what grind cam did you put in this 263 build?
Hey man quick question I've got a Coleman cc100x. I'm looking to put 10 inch rims and tires on it, do you possibly know if they would fit?
❤
That 🌮 tho….😍😍😍😍
why do you need to vent the case? I get it for a fuel pump but you ran it straight to the head. Whats the purpose for that? Thanks
It helps on higher RPM builds with excessive crank case pressure, less chance of gaskets and seals leaking, ring flutter, etc. You can see an engine builder that I had on the channel talk about this in the GTS bike video. Check it out ruclips.net/video/tQQVomEL64U/видео.html

Can you like the exact "Paul's Karts 14cc 28/32 race ported big valve head", he seems to have a few options. Thanks
Yes, the exact head is linked at the bottom of the parts list in the video description.
@@Black66 Thanks, he offers "Mill cylinder head ( small block )" .010, .020 etc... did you pick one of those? Or any of the other options he lists on there besides the 1.2 rockers? Thanks
Damn. “Budget build” and the totals cost as of Aug 7th 2023 is $2100.00 +/- $10 depending on tax in your area. Jesus Christ…..better off putting a dirt bike or quad motor in it and making almost double the hp for a fraction of the cost. That’s wild.
This is definitely a budget build for a 263, with a billet head and crank your looking at around $3500 and up.
What cam size?
cam lift/duration...?
Which Tillotson block is that?
Whats the compression ratio with 14cc head, .032 gasket with 76mm block?
14cc head with zero deck and a .032 head gasket is 15.61. A .045 gasket would be 14.73 at zero deck
@@Black66 What fuel are you running it with?
@Black66 15.61:1 compression on some 87 pump gas ?
where can i find the oil passage block off gasket?
So you didn’t block off the oil port on the block?
Have a question
Whats your question? I will ask the mini bike expert for you...
What block did you buy? It’s not listed on your build.
It's the first link listed in the description under parts used.
Which bike did you end up putting this motor on?
I used it at the GPS 180 endurance race and then The GTS bike. Here are the video links...ruclips.net/video/HMNrV-7abU4/видео.html ruclips.net/video/M0HLe8bb6kE/видео.html
Do you ever run into a problem with the crankshaft not spinning after you torque the rod cap bolts I’ve tried to torque the bolts and as soon as they get tight it doesn’t turn over at all I’m stuck
Haven't had a problem with that yet... But you never know
Does a Predator 224 fit on a Massimo mb200 warrior
What did that head cost?
The links for the parts used are in the description of the video.
what do you run the end gap at on the 1st and 2nd ring?
15.61 compression ratio with pump gas? Is it safe to run with pump gas or high octane fuel ?
Running race gas with this combo in this video. Check out the playlist for many more videos with this engine and others . ruclips.net/video/x61JKb-A_84/видео.html
@@Black66 what length pushrods did you end up using ?
It depends on the Rockers Im using. It did have 1.2 ratio Rev rockers but for the GPS 180 I used the evolution head and 1.1 ratio champion rockers with 5.540 pushrods.
Does anyone know a good motor replacement for a CT200u?
what fuel you use on this build??
Its running a 20cc evolution head . I run VP110 or less octane with the 20cc head. Check out the video. ruclips.net/video/AveOI2M57oU/видео.html
have you blown any gaskets?
So far so good. I have also changed out the head for a Evolution 20cc chamberd head to lower the compresion and better flow . I'll throw the video out soon.
@@Black66 I'm thinking of going to 3 do you think it's rideable? Like the 236 or strictly racing
I think so. Its been reliable so far. This one is not built super radical as far as cam sizes go so its not much different than running a smaller engine for longevity. @@Strict30
@@Black66 koo most people claim pull cord breaks on it cause compression
This one hasn't been any different so far from my other builds but I can only speak from my experience. Other folks might have had different setups . It has been a great engine so far...@@Strict30
I'd you make it to 80??
What was the total cost of this engine built?
Im not totally sure . I did list the build parts in the videos description.
So how much money did you spend on this build?
Not sure the total. The links for the parts used are in the description of the video.
Budget🤔
Push rod length ? I’m in a pickle.
Instead of breaking your shoulders you should get an electric starter since it's got a lot off compression
its actually very easy to start. No harder than my 223 or Tilly 225
the Muffler??? a Cheap Chinese thing intended for a Pitbike? I ran one of those on a 15hp 212cc, it's only really designed for a 150cc... so when I stuck one on a stage1 389cc, the volume of each pulse blew the muffler apart in no time!
The set up is temporary on the kart. I have a much better set up for the bike.
On a 125cc lifan what size pilot jet should I use? The stock one has no number stamp. Any help will be helpful.
🏎️💨📱👋🏼
“Budget build” SURE bud
How important is the fan really? Motorcycles don’t use them. Thank you.
No flux capacitor?
Yes, I'll use it on the top-speed run! 😀👍👍
