    Is this clutch better than a cvt ?

  • @rocknrye9273

    I was thinking of getting that clutch. Can you use it with sprocket outboard instead of inboard? I ask this because I have a Hemi on my Scooter and my set up requires outboard setup.

    If you’ve already invested that much , it’s not a long shot to add a radiator for keeping the bike cooled off 🤷🏽‍♂️🎉 b4 anyone says anything yes it’s been done before

    Can you explain what’s the difference between a cheaper clutch and a high-performance clutch? I’m looking to buy a high-performance clutch for my stage three predator 212 on a DB 30 but I’ve been talking to the guy at OMB warehouse. He says he wouldn’t get a high-performance he would just use Max torque clutch. My engine is right around 14 HP.

      I agree with the guy from OMB. If you are not drag racing these would be a huge waste of money. They're using clutch plates. The clutch is going to slip its way to full engagement under full throttle which is good for drag racing but not necessary for regular riding.
      The same principal applies for those running a torque converter. If I wanted I could get 4K RPM stall from my torque converter driver. But for what? 2700 RPM stall works fine for regular riding.

    Looks beautiful, what type of clutch key did you use for that noram cheetah clutch??
    I'm looking for a clutch for mine and I jus don't want to order the wrong key

      I prefer to use a +4° key.

    @corbinwalter4841 Год назад +1

    • @midwesternassassin

      Yes the shaft key is included but not other teeth sprockets for the clutch big bummer

    Is it a good clutch for cruising? I have one with a 12 t sprocket but told their strictly racing

    • @rayzor285
      @rayzor285 Год назад

      Get a torque converter for cruising. Way better stop and go driveability.

      You can cruises with it bro it handles ton of pressure and weight you’ll be good not the most ideal but you’ll be fine

      Won’t be able to run this racing clutch they don’t have the teeth for that only 35 chain i think he should of got the bigger one blue not sure the name i think they have sprocket for 420 chain which is heavy duty but on a built 212 35 will be fine let’s see

    That's a good looking clutch. I'm seeing more and more videos with people using them. Mostly the street guys doing the RIDE-OUTS. The crazy dudes are hoping on the highways and doing 60+MPH on Doodlebugs. LOL

      @@midwesternassassin My big ass couldn't crack 25mph on a surface street. I WISH I could get up on the highway. But this vid from RoyalJZ shows a Ride-Out in LA where a bunch of them got on a freeway and took off. At about the 24:20 mark they get on the highway then start picking up speed and pretty soon many of them are at 70mph or more and pulling away from traffic. ruclips.net/video/kYjmewpQcJI/видео.html
