Awesome video. I noticed you didn’t drop the truck before tightening the bushing bolts but you also hardly had any spring compression when you did drop the truck. I feel like my tire usually hits the ground 4 or 5 inches before the truck drops to ride hight.
Yeah the reason I did it that way was because I had a jack underneath the lower balljoint and control arm so it was as if the suspension was preloaded or sitting on the ground. Then disconnected the upper ball joint and upper control arm and I never touched the jack so when I put everything back together it was all the same.
Dang. I just did this job in my 06 and I did not wait till it was on the ground to tighten the bushing bolts ! I put them In place and got it put back together and that it.
I have the mevotech ttx on my f150. Installed in 2021 and theyre already toast. And thats with just city driving. Theyre junk. Cant even find a quality joint for these trucks. Id suggest sticking with oem.
O’Reillys precision brand. Just lasted barely over a year. I do have RC lift struts though Put in moogs. Inner and outer tie rods shot as well. The lifts just kill the ball joints. Im ready to lower it back to stovk. There’s something always broke and the alignment is always off
Did you remove the brake calliper first?
You should have the front wheel asy at ride height before the final tightening
How good the moog upper control arm they are?
Ubdo the 3 top shock nuts and swsy bar link andcpry down on lower control arm till shock comes down far enough to get to the bolts.

Put the bolt in in reverse order like long part from the right with the nut on the inside of the coil spring
I’ve always wondered if that would work but i figured there’s a reason ford didn’t do that. Have you done that? Any issues doing that way?
Can you torn the bolt backwards
Sometimes you can use a ratchet strap to compress/manipulate the coil spring enough to get the bolts out and back in.
