I love these videos, and have used them several times. Just did this today, and a STRONG suggestion to remove (and might as well replace) the struts while you have everything torn apart. Trying to wiggle out those control arm bolts is no joke!

This video was massively helpful to me, thank you.
I’m my case one side had the spring coil directly in the way. I removed the top strut nuts and the sway bar link to allow the knuckle and strut to drop and the pulled the strut outward to give me the clearance to remove the upper control arm bolts behind the strut. This still saved me a ton of time compared to other needlessly more complex videos.

Good simple video, not every method will work every time, not every toolbox has identical tool inventory. Love your "wrench extender", had one as a mechanic (some would "double wrench" for leverage).
Not a critique, just a suggestion . . . when breaking lugs loose, always push down for less stress on your back and you are braced if it loosens suddenly. When applying a lot of force to combination or torque wrench or breaker bar I would always use padded "mechanic impact" gloves - the jarring will take its toll on your palms and fingers over time.

so I just did this repair on a 2013 F150. I could REMOVE the 2 bolts that hold the upper control arm on with the strut in place but I COULD NOT re install them once the new control arm was installed. I ended up detaching the strut at the top, the bottom, released the upper stabilizer bar link nut and by moving the strut around within the mount WAS able to reinstall. I don't know if the F150 I was repairing is different from the one in this video, but for those watching, hopefully if you run into problems as I do, my approach will help.

I love how she shows the struggles we have at home lol. But, to make this even easier you can undo the sway bar linkage, and the top 3 bolt of the strut tower. This will allow you to push the lower arm down enough and the upper control arm bolts should slide right out. Hope this helps some folks

FORD decided it would be funny too have a bolt with an inch and half of no thread just too make it so it wont come out .....I highly recommend cutting those bolts down where there is no thread....once you do that it slides right out no problem....first time I did it I fought with it . Cut the bolts and the next time I did it was done in 15 minutes. CUT THE BOLTS DOWN .
