My Son in Law & Grandaughter flew into Demoine yesterday for a family funeral , flying back to Florida Sunday, very worried about them and you all🙏🏻😢, we are Hurricane Katrina, Ivan, Andrew Survivor's 🙏🏻, etc, but these tornadoes are not normal 😢🫣👀🫡🇺🇸☠️🤘🙏🏻

I've seen the water temps all the way across to the African coast. There is a VERY good reason people should be concerned about this years hurricane season.

We are entering into La Nena & Solar maximum. The water temps are elevated due to the Sun being so active and charging up the Earth with Solar winds and charged particles! This whole year will see elevated storms and Mother Nature at her most ferocious self!

Horses got lucky it wasn’t hail! Hope they got fully rinsed. The one time I didn’t manage to fully rinse my dog from an outside bath, poor pup got an unpleasant hot spot that took weeks to resolve.

The information that Ryan Hall puts out really does help save lives. I'm a Johnson County, Iowa resident. We had a severe thunderstorm warning with potential for tornadoes at 6 am today while I was still in bed. Before I started watching Ryan Hall, I would have just rolled over and gone back to sleep for something like this, but watching Ryan's livestreams I have learned that these kinds of storms can produce tornadoes faster than NWS can put out tornado warnings, so I rolled out of bed, rounded up the cats, and headed to the basement. Sure enough, at 6:30 we had a tornado warning. Fortunately, this was a small tornado that didn't do much damage, but I know that the next one might not be.
Agreed! Ryan made me realize that severe thunderstorm warnings are something to watch just in case, not just sleep on.

I also live in Johnson County. What a CRAZY morning. I feel very lucky that my area didn't receive any notable damage, just some small, fallen branches.
NWS and local weather station would have helped as well. Just know where to get info. Our local weather station was live at 2:30am, this youtube channel was not.
@@Coffee_is_ready Yes, NWS and local stations are great sources that everyone should check, but my point here is that just having the info is not enough. People need to /understand/ the NWS bulletins and /respond/ to them. I have always read the NWS bulletins, but before I started watching Ryan, I only took shelter if there was an active tornado warning, because I didn't understand how quickly these storm systems could form a tornado. Because I have listened to Ryan explain the dangers of storm cells similar to the one that hit Iowa City yesterday morning, I understood the danger as soon as I read the NWS severe thunderstorm warning bulletin, and I took shelter immediately.
I think it’s awesome that Andy spent some of his time on vacation to help people in dire need. He’s got a big heart.
I live in Jonesboro AR. Wednesday we had a hailstorm from hell. My house sustained severe damage. I need a new roof for my house & Shop. I also sustained 5 windows being busted out. My total of estimates is $32,000. I’m just thankful it wasn’t a Tornado.

What ever happened to those nice thunderstorms that roll through and make some noise with very little wind, just a bit of lightening, some rain ...... and zero damage or injury. Then the sun comes back out, and we go on about our day. Yeah, what happened to those storms?

I was just about to comment this. SPC upgrading every severe weather event up to the final minute all month, I’ve been checking it multiple times a day just to stay on top of things.

Condolences to all the Greenfield residents and others affected by these storms. Y'all make me thankful to live in New England, where the worst we get is maybe a big Nor'easter that keeps us locked in our homes for a day or two, which if you prepare properly, is like a mini vacation.

The SW OK tornado actually did hit several buildings, at least 4 were homes. When it started it wasn't moving, and spun over a home for at least 5 minutes. It was insane!
Yes came to say the same thing. It damaged several structures/homes down near Duke and Altus.

Called my grandparents in KY, thanks to your video the day before yesterday, i was able to make sure they were aware it was coming and Im really thankful, it turned out to be nothing but rain and thunder but they were kept aware and ready incase anything happened.
Alert helps them to prepare every time. Whenever missed or close calls and just grateful to be alert.

They increased the risk for tomorrow since Ryan put this video out. I encourage people in the Wichita / OKC corridor to check the SPC Day 2 Outlook. These are the kind of days you prepare for. Be safe!
To be specific, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, and Wichita metro areas are under a 15% chance of seeing significant severe tornadoes within 25 miles of them this Saturday. The Storm Prediction Center is expecting long tracked, strong to violent tornadoes, 4" hail, and widespread wind damage across the area.

Really hoping we don't get ANOTHER High risk, but these parameters so far look *worse* than the ones on 5/6/24... I'm also noticing that the most elevated wind risk is outside of Oklahoma, it's almost as if they may be anticipating storms down there to remain more discrete than the storms in Kansas.
I'm glad that the SPC has increased the general risk levels, AND substantially increase the tor probabilities & possible tor strength forecasts. FWIW, I found the language used in the SPC's discussion yesterday & this morning's SPC discussion to be rather 'subdued' when compared to what the models were suggesting.🤔I certainly understand that the SPC does not want to create panic AND that the SPC knows about the set-up's 'failure modes', which can make the worst-case scenarios unlikely, but IMHO the forecaster was holding back a bit too much.🤔Fortunately, the new, upgraded MDT risk & 15% hatched zone for tornadoes seem to be more in line with what the models have been suggesting for a few days.👍The bad news? It's going to be a *very* scary day for the most populated parts of Oklahoma & Kansas! 😬

We had a tornado warning this morning in eastern Iowa and I had to settle for watching the local news. It wasn’t the same as Ryan Hall, and so much more confusing and frustrating.

Same. The only channel that had live coverage of the weather this morning stopped covering it so they wouldn't interrupt the schedule for Good Morning Iowa. It was kind of infuriating.
Channel 8 was the only local station. There was one RUclipsr that I had never seen before. Those storms were crazy!

Right? There was a small one in Johnston, too. Was a little sad that Ryan wasn't streaming at 4:30am Central Time (no blame, I didn't want to be up either, and I don't believe it was a super severe storm like the last one). Thankfully channel 8 was streaming on their site, tho they were having a hard time saying anything for sure since it was came down where the radar was.

@@cliff4695if they can get it started, they will get it to at least halfway barring lots of cautions. Once past halfway they will call the race and not delay until Monday. Worth going no matter what IMO

Thanks for all you do man! Live in Temple TX and got hit with a tornado on 5/22. Watching all of your coverage is surreal but when we were impacted directly it's even more heartbreaking. No power, cell phones don't work, can't see the press conferences that give vital information. It's like you are alone. You see the good and bad side of people. I always felt bad for those who lost their livelihoods, but never understood how hard the aftermath would be. Thanks again for keeping us informed!

The water comes up fast in south Georgia on our river. The neighbors car did not get out guick enough its up on blocks now any more water and he won't save it. Thanks to this guys weather notifications I can move stuff out in advance.
Sunday is the Indy 500 where there's going to be about 350k more people traveling to see the race. I'm wishing they'd push it back to Monday, but they're going to try to get it running during the tornados.
They've historically always tried to gather the crowd on Sunday regardless of weather, and try to get at least a bit of the race in. You'd think the new owner, Roger Penske, would be smarter than that. I'd drive out to attend it for about my 15th time, if they postponed all the festivities to Monday. Sunday is looking too sketchy for me to drive 900 miles from NH and get pelted in thunderstorms while I walk 3 miles each way from my favorite place to park for a quick escape after the race.

The latest SPC outlook having a Day 2 MDT and a 15# tornado is terrifying. And even more insane than that, in the outlook they said “only reduced confidence in storm coverage is precluding a high risk at this time”. The fact that they were even thinking about a DAY 2 HIGH is bonkers.. absolutely grateful we’ll have you tomorrow Ryan. Big big big day coming…

I am in Dixie Alley (Tennessee) and it has been the same here .. kinda quiet. Lots of thundershowers but I do not think our tornado sirens have gone off once this season !!!!
