Hi simon ive been trying to get myself into card making and would love to know what the name of your machine for cutting is please that you use at the 21:13 mark
This is so awesome👍 I’ve been a bit disappointed since purchasing my Betterpress, because there hasn’t been a good way to separate the color crossovers
OMGOODNESS……I was humming and hawing about getting the letterpress but now I know I want one I love the cards you made……I forgot about the scissors….I bought them last year after watching one of your videos…..just got them out. Thanks for all the great ideas
I love learning from you. I'm 74 and over the years collected MANY wood mounted stamps. Now I have to decide what to do with them to make room for more Betterpress
A great video! It looks great. I love the way you teach technique and always provide info for every step - cleaning, how to stamp, if tape doesn’t stick. The little things make a big difference to the rest of us! Thanks Simon!
Thank you for sharing this video, Simon. I received a free betterpress plate and had no clue what to do with it. I was going to get rid of it until I seen this. Thank you soooo much❣️
I’ve just started using the BetterPress and love it. Watching how you explained using these multiple press dies together now makes perfect sense. Thank you!!!
I bought my Betterpress earlier, even joined the press plate of the month club ....but was disappointed in limitations. NOW I am excited to use these newest press plates. Thanks for GREAT tutorial Simom.
I really love the results that you get from the Betterpress. Hopefully I can get one soon. I didn't even notice that your alignment was off, even after you mentioned it.
This is the first time I’ve wished I had the Better Press because the design is so detailed and beautiful. Thanks for the faces-those shots always make me smile.
Beautiful cards Simon. It is hard to pick a favorite. I think I am leaning a little more to the last card. I think the dots really worked with the flowers. Great job! Hugs!
You really have me intrigued by the Betterpress system...wowza!! The images are gorgeous, I love how easy it is to use different colors. I always enjoy your lighthearted but thorough presentation, including awkward moments, and then you had me cracking up with the toddler comment! 😂😂😂 Love the cards because each one is unique. Thanks again for a great video, and have a wonderful week.
I love both of the cards but I think the first one may just be my favorite. So happy that I bought the BetterPress when they came out. You've shown me even more reasons to love it with your very informative video!!
I am in love with my BetterPress plates and am super excited with the registration sets coming out now and in the future. Your videos always provide great hints for using tools more effectively. I don’t have a Glimmer and don’t have the magnet pick-up tool, but I’m thinking my pawn-shape magnets with my white glassboard should do the trick.
You won the staring contest. I started to giggle the second you did it. Lol. I have been telling myself I don't need the better press system but this new registration system and your video is making it really hard to resist.
Hi Simon..I'm a new subscriber..I just decided to get a better press to try something new..and have bought these plates..Thank you for the great instruction..All your cards are my favorite 😊
Hi Simon. I have enjoyed my BetterPress because of the class and professionalism it gives my cards. I too have been frustrated that it was difficult to accomplish multi-coloring on the single plates. I’m glad to see that fresh ideas are being tried. I bought a pair of the spring Fiskar scissors. I thought the spring-controlled scissors were actually a way to sell another product. But alas! They work just as you said for perfect and easy fussy cutting. Thank you for your videos.
Simon, this is stunning - the last card would be so nice to do the polka dots in your lunar paste and if you really want to be extra creative, paint the insides of the thank you letters with lunar paste
What great cards I have a Better Press but living in Canada, the plates are very expensive. I only have a few, well only three. I hope I can get some more. My friend did foiling with the Better Press plates on the foiling machine. She said they turn out amazing! Thanks for your super videos.
Beautiful cards!! Can’t choose just one. But I have a preference for the 2nd card (done w/script stamp). I bought that stamp (probably why my preference). You are the best fussy cutter!!
You crack me up with the awkward staring each other in the eyes while cranking our paper thru the die machine!😂 Love these cards. You’re a phenomenal Crafter!
Wow, beautiful. Don't know how to pick a favorite. Simon, you are a master fussy cutter. I have in all my years of card making never been able to fussy cut like that. Way to go!!!
I always love your work!! You said, we could use Archival ink for the Betterpress. I have Distress Archival Ink, will that work too? If not which ones can we use?
Great cards Simon. I liked tgem all. The getter press looks like a fantastic tool but not in my price range at present! Maybe it should be on my birthday list??
Very informative video and the cards are lovely. I purchased the BP when it first came out and while you and other creators have commented on the "deep impression”, which is difficult to see in videos, I’m not sure that what I’m experiencing is the best impression. I’m using a rather old Big Shot (die cutting is fine). Are you getting any resistance at all when you run it through. Wondering if I should use a card stock shim but don’t want to put too much pressure on the BP. Any suggestions? (I have been thinking about getting a Platinum 6). Thank you.
These cards are beautiful - could you make the Thank You words gold color with embossing powder and then heat it? I love how the stamp is all in sections
It be so cool if you made a Disney themed card or anime card that would be sick or animal crossing themed card. You could do so many different themed cards. Even vacation cards. Traveling cards. I feel inspired and I don't even make cards. Lol. Different types of birthday cards or kids cards to. Let me stop I could go on and on with ideas lol.
Hi Simon, 1st thank you so much for all your wonderful videos you share with us! I have been trying to decide whether or not to purchase the Better Press since it 1st came out! I just recently finished purchasing every color of your inks, matching lunar paste & solar paste! As you know it's a big investment! I have the Spellbinders Foil Glimmer set & started buying wax seals & wax to add to my craft supplies. So before I start another craft journey, I was wondering if it would be safe to use your inks or some of the Tim Holtz distress inks? I also purchased his mini ink sets 1 thru 18! As much as I would love to purchase the Better Press, the thought of buying another type of ink set is a scary thought at this point! I would appreciate any advise you could share?! I love the crisp look of the Better Press images! Thank you & have a wonderful crafty day!
This is the first time I have seen this product. It’s pretty amazing. I’m just wondering how many different options there are for the designs. It’s great that you can use your regular die cutting machine.
****,QUESTION QUESTION QUESTION *** Where to find that magnetic pick up tool you’re using to remove press plate from magnetic base please? We need one of those.
I have that one, unfortunately the magnet isn’t strong enough. I’ve ordered some magnet wands that you use for magnetic nail polish from Amazon. We will see if that works.
This is fascinating. Inking metal plates? And these plates won’t cut the paper? Would they ever cut out card stock? Is the betterpress a bit lowered so the metal plates won’t cut card stock? Very curious. Can any metal plates be colored and used in the betterpress? Thanks Simon for the instructions. This is amazing
Hi! They will not cut the paper. You CANNOT use other metal plates with the Betterpress, however, you can use the Betterpress plates with the Glimmer (hot foil machine) but cannot use the Glimmer plates with the Betterpress.
precioso tu canal . Acabo de suscribirme . Tendrías alguna forma de hacer esas placas de forma casera . Ya que en Argentina s imposible comprar material de scrap . Siempre fue caro pero imagínate ahora como está la economía 😢 gracias
I tried it with a die cutting machine and a detailed cutting die with the embossing sandwich. It sort of worked but ink smears were a problem. The Better Press helps with positioning but I agree the cost is a lot.
Hey friends! Leave a comment letting me know which card is your favorite. :)

Simon - your tips add so much - I would not have thought of the stencil on the sticky mat. Thanks for the tip on helping us to save our products!!!

I already loved my BetterPress and now have even more options. It is so easy to use and love how my cards turn out. Thank you for another great video
Beautiful cards Simon!!!

Thank you for sharing this video, Simon. I received a free betterpress plate and had no clue what to do with it. I was going to get rid of it until I seen this. Thank you soooo much❣️
Very neat. I enjoyed how you fussy cut the focal images and placed them on a card base with a stamped or stenciled background.
I’ve just started using the BetterPress and love it. Watching how you explained using these multiple press dies together now makes perfect sense. Thank you!!!

I just love how surprised you sounded when you did the "reveal". I am so with you... this is just incredible.
Beautiful cards Simon. It is hard to pick a favorite. I think I am leaning a little more to the last card. I think the dots really worked with the flowers. Great job! Hugs!
Beautiful cards! Just wondering why you didn’t use all the flower plates at once when you did the black and white one. 🙂
You really have me intrigued by the Betterpress system...wowza!!
The images are gorgeous, I love how easy it is to use different colors.
I always enjoy your lighthearted but thorough presentation, including awkward moments, and then you had me cracking up with the toddler comment! 😂😂😂
Love the cards because each one is unique.
Thanks again for a great video, and have a wonderful week.
P.s. I absolutely just love, love, love the last card! They are ALL beautiful but the last card is my favorite!
Wow. I just received the plates for my Betterpress and I love learning how ttlo use it from you Simon. Thank you making it so easy. ❤
Wow... I love your instructions. Makes it so easy. Amd your cards are just beautiful. I love the second one so much.
That betterpress is so cool. Thank you for demonstrating it.
I’ve just ordered my better press with extra inks and card. Ordered the first die. Love it 😍
I love both of the cards but I think the first one may just be my favorite. So happy that I bought the BetterPress when they came out. You've shown me even more reasons to love it with your very informative video!!

Love these cards! My Betterpress arrives this week and I will definitely be ordering these two designs.
I love the new plates! Your cards look stunning.
They are both beautiful - I love florals. But the Thank You card is my very favorite. I love the more modern vibe.
You won the staring contest. I started to giggle the second you did it. Lol.
I have been telling myself I don't need the better press system but this new registration system and your video is making it really hard to resist.
This was very interesting love how the flowers turned out ❤❤
Hi Simon..I'm a new subscriber..I just decided to get a better press to try something new..and have bought these plates..Thank you for the great instruction..All your cards are my favorite 😊
For an occasional (special) card this might work, but I'm not so sure it would be all that convenient for mass card making. Thanks, Simon
Love both plates! They cards are beautiful ❤
Thank you Simon! I just got a Better Press plate for my 75th birthday!! This really helps me see how to use it!!!!😀😀
Love them all!
Simone, your awkward stare and staring contest comments cracked me up! I think my favorite cards were the first one and the last one.
Wow!! Great cards. TFS

Love the new plates! Simon...where can we find a magnet like the one you used to lift the plates?
Spellbinders website. They go with the hot foil system.
@@ebriggs3498 Thank you!
Hi! Here is their updated magnetic pickup tool: shrsl.com/4evtq (affiliate)
You crack me up with the awkward staring each other in the eyes while cranking our paper thru the die machine!😂 Love these cards. You’re a phenomenal
Crafter!
Simón, thank you for this great and useful tutorial. My favorite part is of course you rolling and the staring into our eyes. Thank you 😅
Hi Simon, I enjoyed presentation. What is the magnetic tool used to remove the dies and where can I get one? Thank you.😊
Simon, I know what to ask for my birthday, thank you sharing.
Wow, beautiful. Don't know how to pick a favorite. Simon, you are a master fussy cutter. I have in all my years of card making never been able to fussy cut like that. Way to go!!!
That is so cool! Thanks for sharing!
Oh man, I think I’ve finally been sold on the Betterpress!
So pretty!! Could I ask where the magnetic tweezers you used to remove the better press plates is from?
It is from my glimmer hot foil system set… not sure if they sell it individually. From Spellbinders. :)
Thank you
I loved your cards! My fav is the first one!
I always love your work!! You said, we could use Archival ink for the Betterpress. I have Distress Archival Ink, will that work too? If not which ones can we use?
They were all cool, but I liked the first one the best.❤
Great cards Simon. I liked tgem all. The getter press looks like a fantastic tool but not in my price range at present! Maybe it should be on my birthday list??
Thanks!
The second card I prefer juicer more vibrant colours ❤ Its great to see you cut out properly, I dont see it often.👍
Great Job. Love both of them
Love this system, worth a try.
Love the 2nd card but both are beautiful. I have those scissors & i love them. ❤️ i think you need to come out w/mini ink pads. 😊
Hi Simon, l will have to invest in a betterpress. Both lovely cards.
Love the Thank you cards ! Will all the layering plates say Registration Plates? And will these plates not have dies ?

Hard to say, which was my favorite, although I think the second one with the floral design and the varied colors
i see question already asked and answered. Thanks.

Wow, beautiful card👏👏👏

Me too!! I need that magnet in my life!
They come with hot foil machines.
Hi! Here is their updated magnetic pickup tool: shrsl.com/4evtq (affiliate)
TFS as always you Rock 😊
ooh tomato soup..guess what I want for lunch 🙂
Where did you get that magnet you used to lift the dies from the plates? That's what I need!

Will the better press system work with any dies if I create my own layout?
The magnet you're lifting the die with - where does it come from?
Game changer is right!
I didn’t really look to see how many messages there are here, but do you have to use a spellbinders machine with this product?
Great video
His hands are so distinct and cute and weird at the same time.
Hahahaha thanks
Hi Simon🥰
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
❤❤❤
Why use the better press whew you can just use a die cutting machine??
I tried it with a die cutting machine and a detailed cutting die with the embossing sandwich. It sort of worked but ink smears were a problem. The Better Press helps with positioning but I agree the cost is a lot.
I’m not a fan of these better press plates. It’s all very expensive. Love to use them but due to costs no can do. Sorry.
You can hot foil with them too, so they are dual purpose. I think that makes them a better deal.
A W E S O M E ! ! ! !
