I have a Jackery 300 and a small Iceco fridge and love them-they take up surprisingly little space, and with your abiity to go to grocery stores on the regular and charge the Jackery at work or when driving, I think you would be surprised how much this improves your quality of life. (My 100 watt solar panel mounted to my roof always keeps the Jackery charged :) Awesome set up. Thanks for sharing. Minimalism rocks!

Get a Bluetti Power Station instead of a Jackery. Yes Jackery's are easy to just pick up from Walmart, but you get so much more from a Bluetti. The Bluetti life cycle is also way more times than a Jackery.
Also, you don't need a van or an RV for this life style. If you like car camping it's better, because you'll get better gas milage with your Bronco than a Van or RV. You can also get into more places that an RV can't. You could buy a tent or screened-in type tent so while out of the city you could get out of your car more often. If you need more space you could buy a roof top cargo box or bag for more storage. Thank you so much for doing these videos. I really appreciate you. God Bless.

Height is a blessing and just requires us to arrange life differently. Seems you have your vehicle dialed in for your needs. Enjoy the lifestyle.

Thanks and yeah I think it’s about as good as it’s going to get with a no build set up…. Thanks for watching!

I had this brilliant idea to use duct tape on the wood edges of my bed platform to protect the splintered plywood edge, even though I did sand it. Well, I couldn’t stand the chemically smell of the duct tape, and off it came. Very noticeable in a closed space, imo.

Oh wow I wouldn’t think that would happen. Part of this lifestyle though is trying new things and figuring out what works. At least it wasn’t something permenant

Really nice and simple clean setup! Maybe a Dometic + stove in the future?

Having a nice newer car that isn’t a van also helps with camouflage.

❤ Nice clean neat setup. When I travelled solo in my Jeep Patriot I only had 70 inches for the bed platform. The seats also do not lay flat. It worked for me but only because I am verticality challenged and extremely flexible. I have a homebase and only used the Jeep for camping with scouts, an every day driver and solo travel. For me as a solo traveler the minivan is the sweet spot. I'm still trying to love the Pleasure Way class b, van but without my late husband I just do not enjoy it. I spent 7 weeks in the SW in the minivan this winter and absolutely loved it. It was just enough space and was still nimble and stealthy. It drives like a dream and the front seats are nicer than the recliner at homebase. I purchased the biggest battery bank I could handle, an electric kettle and a Dezin electric pot and can cook inside if the weather doesn't cooperate. A small electric fridge is the last thing I want for the minivan home. Yes it is nice to be able to stretch and do a yoga workout inside the big van in bad weather, but really it drives like a tank and does not get great fuel economy. It is also in really good condition and with it's 1990's Dodge Ram Van lines, it draws a lot of attention from car buffs and gearheads. 😂 attention I don't want. You may want to rent a minivan and a full sized van and take a couple week trip in both before you commit to a full sized van platform. Thank you again for the tour of your comfortable home. 😊

Good morning 🌅 looks like you’ve got it setup for what you need. Any plans on building a wooden sleep platform?

Good morning my friend. Thought about it a lot but would honestly not gain anything from it. Because I’m not fully nomadic traveling the country and have my storage unit so close, I don’t need to carry as much stuff in the car as I normally would need. So I purposely keep everything easy and simple to access. I hope you’re feeling well my friend!

I assume you keep your hiking/camping kit in your storage unit if you are not hiking/camping.

I think the Tesla or a hybrid would be really nice for those of us that are verticality challenged 😂.
