hien mid was a great decision for me i feel.
coming from the glorious air (a textured plastic pad), i wanted low friction and easy microadjustments, while also being comfortable and easy for my arm to move across. this pad provides it. friction overall is slightly higher than the glorious air but not that much. the mid still provides that dynamic friction effect to a decent level as well.
i've heard complaints from some about the rubber backing on the hien mid not sticking to their desk well; i would recommend just rinsing the bottom rubber with a small amount of water to get any dust off, and wiping your desk surface down. when you put the pad on your desk, move your mouse all over the pad to ensure all parts of the rubber bottom are touching the desk and providing grip. on any glossy or smooth surface this will ensure it sticks.
i probably would've gotten the raiden if it was cheaper and i didnt play tac fps.

The zero IS S tier I've had it for about 9 months now in the Xsoft + XL combo and it's honestly amazing I really loved it. I do swap fairly often as someone who plays mostly Valorant and some CS (mainly face it) I prefer the Zero 99% of the time but when I play Apex I swap to the Hien or my Raiden and I can safely say for tracking/fast motions the Raiden is my favorite, for more precise aim and just an overall better feeling for tac shooters (I've had about 17 years of experience playing tac shooters with my first being CS:Source) I can safely say the Zero is my favorite.

What's the best Zero Soft clone that is actually in stock?
I don't play mouse and key that much so I don't want to spend $100 on a pad until I am completely comfortable,
    Thanks!

I really can't decide man, either zero or hien.. I main cs (0.7 800dpi) and I play a shit ton so I could probably get used to the Hien but in the end what would be the better option...

I’m considering purchasing a Hien, but saw another reviewer say that the Hien has a rough, almost rope-like texture that can be uncomfortable and even irritating on your hand and wrist. Is this something you’ve noticed?
