    Great review.. Every other reviewer gets so caught up in assigning tac shooters to the zero and everything else to the hien but the hien by far provides sufficient stopping power and the control needed to those already able to aim well. Nice job bro

    I know this was posted forever ago but great content man I have been running a Razer strider for the past year or so and love it but I am looking to upgrade to an Artisan and have been trying to decide between the zero & Hien. I can honestly say your video made my decision easy. Hien all the way!

    I just ordered my Zero! Thank you for helping me decide! Going to love the improvement from the G640 that becomes absolute garbage after the coating wears off. My scores for tracking in aimlab went from usually 100k to barely 80k bc it's super muddy now and I can't change directions to strafing targets without fighting the pad, making my aim shakey with the struggle lol.
    Also, you have a nice voice. Good for reviews

    • @RemedieX
      @RemedieX Год назад

      @@dremmett1270 Oh it's great. I got the soft XL and I honestly have no complaints other than it's good to have a lint roller around. I also got a Hien. Love it too and it's my main bc I like the texture more, but the Zero is great for all games and I can transition between the two easily. Can't believe I bothered with the G640 for so long lol. I know there's cheaper alternatives that are close to just as good, but I have the money and wanted the best, so no regrets with the Zero.

    I have Artisan Zero and Hien in Xsoft and soft, soft on the zero feels better than the hien soft tracking, control, and stopping power wise. I really suggest trying to get your hands on the soft version and not xsoft because it feels muddy especially on the zero.

  • @1mLouis
    @1mLouis 2 года назад +5

    Thanks a lot for the review, its exactly what ive been looking for.
    I mostly play Tac FPS (Valorant) and was wondering if I should buy a Hien and use it instead of a Zero.
    My problem with the Zero is that my hand gets stuck to the pad whenever its warm outside and by stuck I mean litterally glued. I use a sleeve, a really good one even and that provides sufficient glide for my arm at least, though at one point when I dont move my arm a whole lot my sleeve gets warm too and kinda sticks to the pad (not nearly as much as my uncovered wrist though).
    I felt it really fks up my aim whenever its 23°C+ (73.4°F).
    As someone who is a Voltaic Master I feel like my aim is good enough to control the Hien in Tac FPS and it was good to hear someone who says that its definitely usable for that, so thanks for not just sticking with the "Zero for Tac FPS, but not the Hien" narrative.
    I guess I'll be buying a Hien and I really, really hope that it will help me achieve a more consistent feel / glide, even when its warm.
    Lovely review👌🏻👍🏻
    (btw. the problem with my hand sticking to the pad is so bad that I cant use a high sens from about April-October because when playing with a higher sens I move my arm less causing my arm & hand to stick to the pad so bad that my aim becomes insanely unreliable, that was even worse with previous pads like the GSR and it was the only reason I spent 70€ on a Zero in the first place, cause I was told multiple times that I wont have this problem with it, which turned out was wrong unfortunately xD)

      Appreciate it man, I definitely feel your pain with the zero and your arm feeling glued to the pad when its warm outside I've had that same issue. So far I can definitely say I've not experience any of those same issues with the Hien, does take a couple days to break in like most pads but you should be good! The Hien will definitely be great for Valorant or CS the stopping power with flicks and consistent glide really make it a great pad for those games, not sure why people only ever recommend the zero for tac shooters. Hope you keep breaking your records in Kovaaks brother!

    i've seen the hoya mousepad sheet, and the hien is classified as a really durable mousepad, more than the zero.

      tbh the Hien is not as fast as some people make it seem. Its really more of a hybrid pad then it is a speed pad. So yeah I think 100% you'll easily be able to adjust to it UNLESS you really like mud pads then the Hien may seem too quick coming from something like that.
      I would personally take the Hien over the Zero, i feel like the Hien is more consistent and its not effected by heat at all. The Zero can start to feel a bit sluggish when your arm sweats

      The strider is not a bad alternative, the main reason to go with a Hien for double the costs (60ish) is because the quality of the pad is better like the stitching, the base and arrives flat and stays that way, the strider is hit or miss on whether it will be flat, the stitching is mid, the base is subjective depending on your desk and the strider is basically a Hien Mid not a soft or xsoft so you would need to already want more of hard density if you go with the strider
