  • Forgot to mention that I am a former Pro CSGO/VALORANT, world record, blah blah blah. You guys know it by now.
Also forgot to mention that, especially in the US, you can actually get an Artisan off Amazon quite easily. Here's an affiliate link if you want to go that route:

    Thanks! :D

This video is pretty underrated. Nice job bro, keep it up 👍
But.. I do want to disagree with one thing. I just wanted to say that I personally think that the large is better because it doesn’t take up to much space and I also think that it’s enough to move ur mouse around on the large. Don’t think ur wrong or anything but it’s just my opinion. Once again… awesome work

hi bardOZ, thank you for the review. I have bought a hien a month ago and your absolutely right in all aspects about it. A lot of other reviewer says, that the best attribute is to not change in static friction but that's basically not true, it will change as every other mousepad but its definitely a lot better. Thank you for your content, your videos act as a catalyst to get better scores in the areas lacking. What do you think about a video where you show how you perform on the worst mouse+mousepad setting in comparison? That would be interesting. Wish you the best.

I've bought quite a few artisan pads too, aside from the pads being great I kind of love how they seem to spend most their time/efforts on making a great product, where as some other manufacturers will make a product which is just "okay" but then have a huge marketing budget to hype it up.
Also any time I've had any questions they've been super helpful over email and always thank me for supporting them.

Amazing review, can't wait to see more Artisan reviews and if you ever review the Outset AX, could you spend a couple seconds comparing it to the EC2 (assuming you have one)? I feel like the EC2 is such a well known mouse that many people own, and I've seen literally no reviewers make a proper comparison between the two, I feel it could help a lot of people with understanding if it's an upgrade for them in terms of ergo shape... Grandissimo al solito :D

wow, 8 months without washing and it still feels good? That's impressive. When I used to play on cloth pads i constantly felt the need to wash them because after just a couple days they always slowed down where I rested my hand which was the main reason why I switched to glass. It still happens on glass but at least glass is easy to clean.

Just wanted to say that slowness that gets added over time is mostly due to it being dirty and not pad degradation, the material is extremely durable. So if you wash the pad it’ll probably mostly be restored, I’ve had my pad for a similar amount of time and that’s my experience with it, but I am using the Mid.

@@andrewe165 I’ve had a lot of time with both pads now and can confidently say that the Hien is better than the Zero and it’s not “too fast” but definitely faster. That being said the Zero has such low static friction that it’s extremely easy to swap between the 2 with very little adjustment time. The main reason I prefer the Hien is because it’s so unique and combines the best parts of both control and speed pads.

Is there really no difference in between soft and Xsoft? I have an Otsu Xsoft and its close to Endgame, I'm trying hard to like the Hien (I bought in soft because all reviewers say you should) and... I just can't. Now it's broken in.... And I dunno why all the hype around this mousepad when the mpc450 performs better in glide, better in stoping power, worse stitching. I wonder if Xsoft (which basically makes the Artisan signature) would just make me change my mind (or I'm just selling it)

I was about to cancel my Artisan Hien (L) because I mainly play Tac shooters like Valorant and CS and sometimes Apex and COD as well, so I thought Zero would be a better option but then I decided to stick with Hien only cause I've seen many Valorant Pros using Hien over Zero and also the Hien has some good stopping power too (not good as zero but you can get used to it with some time and practice) and at last how can you miss the beautiful Red Wine colour (it looks awesome with white mouse). Now, I'm just waiting to get it delivered asap (Hope Large will be enough)

I recently had my Hayate Otsu delivered from Lethal Gaming Gear. Sadly mine came a little bent and has some marks on the top of the mouse pad but it doesn't affect the glide. I've been using it for a week and the difference is night and day from my old mouse pad. My first impressions were very similar to yours I found it rough and somewhat scratchy on the mouse feet compared to my other mouse pad. What I also noticed was that the mouse pad gave me so much speed that it felt like I had changed my sensitivity. After a couple of days of use I was able to adjust to the speed and the pad started feeling smooth.
