I’m not a Beyonce fan. I don’t really listen to her at all. I’m a Kendrick Lamar fan. This is a top 5 album of the decade so far, and immediately the frontrunner for album of the year. Will be extremely difficult to top. 10/10

Someone mentioned what if the albums are supposed to be played backwards like act 3, act 2, act 1 and that's why the last third of this album has a house music feel similar to renaissance.

The last songs in this album, are like they are preparing us to transition into Renaissance.
In fact the last song Amen, she mention “American Requiem “ again .. and then in Renaissance “I’m that girl” she mentions “my un American life “..

Answer: Are you kidding me?!! Yes, just yes. Full stop. No more pontification needed. I haven’t listened to an artist’s album in its entirety in years and I have not only listened to this one on repeat, but I said to hell with listening on RUclips; even my cheap a- had to break down and buy the album for my flawless listening experience.
And btw, I have heard it said that Beyoncé can’t sing or that she isn’t a great singer. I mean, I’m no authority, but man, the story she was able to tell with her vocal choices and range are just ridiculous. IMHO, this album is a masterpiece.
